Living in the world of Slogans

What a beautiful morning.. I woke up with smile on my face without a single wrinkle as I'm using Nivea Creme Q10, that promised me to make my skin younger, more elastic and hell yeahhh I do believe it!! When I came to bathroom I started brushing my teeth with Colgate Max White Tooth Paste, which will make my teeth perfectly white like the pearls and which is damn "Number 1 recommended by dentists!" Afterwards I washed my hair with L'oréal Shampoo that will make my hair shiny and super dense! Why? "Because I am worth it"! As I am not that much into make up, I decided to use just Maybelline mascara to make my lashes more beautiful, however who knows "Maybe I was born with it"! Anyway, the best thing to do in the morning is to put my Nike running shoes on and "Just do it" - to run 3 km always makes me feel fresh. When I got home, I decided to make my Nescafé because "It all starts with Nescafé" and was wondering, what would start! Guess what? It activated my mind and I turned on my LG TV and yeahhh I felt immediately like Life's Good! After some time my friends knocked the door and I was so happy to see them! They came around and brought some Snicker bars, we immediately agreed on "You are not you, when you are hungry" and better ate them all! Later we opened some Coca Cola bottles and felt so great because we wanted to "Taste the feeling"! When my friends left I checked my Samsung phone but felt a bit confused as "It is not a phone it is Galaxy" what the hell, I opened my window and screamed to the whole galaxy: "I want my phoneeee!!!"

What an awkward morning.. I woke up with weird mood and also with many wrinkles on my face, despite I'm using Nivea Creme Q10, that promised me to make my skin younger, more elastic and hell nooooo I am tired of waiting for miracle!!! When I came to bathroom I started brushing my teeth with Colgate Max White Tooth Paste, which has damn no effect and I wonder, why it is "Number 1 recommended by dentists!" Afterwards I washed my hair with L'oréal Shampoo that simply washed my hair, nothing was shining, maybe I should turn on more light to see it? Why are they doing this to me?!!! "Because I am worth it"? As I am not that much into make up, I decided to use just Maybelline mascara to get at least bigger eyes but oh myyy should I believe that "Maybe I was born with it"? No, I am not idiot!  Anyway, what scared me to death was to remember my morning ritual - to run 3 km! When I saw my Nike shoes in the corner, I gave up and simply yelled at them: NOOOO, today I won't JUST DO IT! Instead of torturing myself I decided to make Nescafé because "It all starts with Nescafé" and the only one thing that started after drinking it my was my urgent need to visit toilet. Then I turned on my LG TV and yeahhh I felt little bit like Life's Good! But after checking all these boring channels I got disgusted and angry because there was nothing worth watching! After some time my friends knocked the door and I was like - oh nooo I am not in mood to be with them! They came around and brought some Snickers bars and just added: "You are not you when you are hungry"! I politely told them I am myself even with empty stomach! In fact imagination of sticky bar in my mouth made me feel yuck! Later we opened some bottles of Coca Cola and my friends just asked me to "Taste the feeling"! Yeahh the feeling of disgusting oversweet Cola was so special that I had to immediately eat something else to get rid of it!  When my friends left, I checked my Samsung phone but felt a bit confused as "It is not a phone it is Galaxy"? What? Next time I won't smoke weed with them!

This conversation is one of these that really happened, it isn't anything like "once upon a time" but bittersweet reality :D

Stranger (a guy): Hello, how are you doing?

Me: I am fine... you?

Stranger: I am ok

(Awkward silence)

Stranger: Where are you from?

Me: Ehmmm... it is written in my profile.. Are you so lazy to check it?

(Two mins of silence)

Stranger: So you are from the Czech republic. I like this country.

Me: Really? What do you know about it?

(Stranger googling where the hell it is situated ...answering in few mins....)

Stranger: Ohh so you are from Europe. Now I remembered some Czech football players..

Me: Wooow, I am impressed (with sarcastic tone in my voice that he can't luckily hear :D)

Stranger: You are a very nice girl, Luci.

Me: How do you know?

Stranger:  You treat me nice and you are kind.

Me: Oh myyyyyy... honestly I hate such kind of chats like - where are you from, how old are you etc. It is damn artificial to me...

Stranger: Ok, so what's your hobby?

Me: Please kill me somebody...I am better out of this :D

Stranger: Nooo, Luci, don't gooooo...I love you!

Me: Wt*

Luci is disconnected and can't recieve messages anymore...

Or

Luci left EnglishClub :D

P.S. That's why I simply can't stand private chats...ofc it might be also my fault as I am not so much sociable but if somebody is not my "blood group" then it is better to stay awayyyy from me with such damn artificial chat lines :D

An Interesting Life Story

Today in this blog, I would like to share with you, guys, one interesting life story of an eighteen years old girl from the USA. I came across this story yesterday on the Internet and it made me stop and think, how I would react, what I would do, if I were in her shoes. So, let's start from the beggining. Eighteen years ago in Florida, to be more specific in Jacksonville hospital was born a babygirl. Her mom was a black girl, who was just sixteen years old - kinda young mom, right? Anyway, in a few hours this newborn baby was kidnapped by a woman, who was in the hospital in nurse disguise and from that one moment real mom hasn't seen her daughter for eighteen years. A woman - kidnapper was before this all pregnant and lost her baby one week before kidnapping. Hard to say, if it influenced her to kidnap a baby, hard to say, what was at that time on her mind. She came back to her home in South Carolina, nobody noticed anything (here I am little bit sceptical as for her husband, I bet he might have known it) and family was enjoying their happy life with a newborn baby and two older kids they have already had. On the other hand the second family was destroyed and desperately searching for their lost babygirl. Police even offered reward 250.000 dollars to the finders. Time was passing by and all the attempts failed. Police got more than 2.500 tips and I do believe that such investigation had to be very complicated and exhausting. However, few days ago somebody informed police about this girl and this time it was finally good tip because after DNA tests was proved that wanted girl was found!!! It sounds like a miracle, right? The thing is that this girl had no idea her name was not her name, her parents were not her parents, she was raised by them and they were nice with her, she loved them like kids love their parents. This must have been very shocking to her, this must have destroyed her! Of course, it was up to her, if she wants to meet her real parents as she is nowadays mature woman and hard to say what would be easier for her but she chose to meet them and spent some time with them. Her mom – kidnapper was arrested and despite this all this girl decided to visit her and told her she loves her and will never see her as some criminal. Can you imagine, how emotionally confused must be this girl right now? Whome to love? Fake mom, who lied but treated her nice and gave her everything parents give to kids? Or real mom, who had to suffer a lot during these 18 years, but who is to her somebody totally unknown? Liar or stranger? I think, I would have big problem to forgive that one kidnapper mom because what she did is a crime and by one action she changed drastically life of two people - newbie girl and her real mom. She selfishly took a baby that wasn't her, she kept this as a secret for eighteen years and I do believe that she even started believing it was her own kid. She didn't care, how much that one real mom had to suffer, how she influenced her life and turned it to nightmare. She didn't care, she took 18 years of her life, which she won't ever be able to turn back and this is in my opinion, what matters. Let's just hope that this eighteen years old girl will be able to deal with this confusing situation and will live happily her life!

New Year is around the corner and some people have already started thinking, if this year was beneficial or not, if they are satisfied with what they achieved, planned etc. In fact, we usually end up with the same conclusions such as… many things suck, we can't change anything, we are just somewhere stuck and then …. we become depressed, right? :-D

Anyway, there are few things we can work on, few little things that can make us happier and calm. Here is my little list of the tips, I find important at least for myself, decided to follow them and would like to share them with you:

1. C h a n g e

If you want to change yourself, fistly please be sure, you really want it and your INNER EGO is telling you to do it. In case you want to change yourself for others, just to please them, I can assure you it isn't good idea at all. We live our life, not life of others and only wishes about our changes that comes from our heart are these we should follow…

2. H o n e s t y

To be honest is not easy at all because at times you might hurt people with your sincerity but on the other hand, you don't feel stresed because you don't hide things inside of you, which could cause you some health and psychological problems. Everything is about the way we can tell the things others and this is the art we should learn.

3. E n t h u s i a s m

Stay tuned and feel like everything you do, has some sense, don't lose your hope. Instead of it show others that you won't ever give up. Try to live your life on maximum, so that you wouldn't regret. Don't just passively watch it from the window…

4. E d u c a t i o n

Be active and learn new things. Education isn't just about studying at school, we should educate ourself the whole life and keep our brains active, learn new things not to suffer one day from dementia. You can come across new hobbie that might be related to education and oh yeahhhh – ENGLISH learning is our journey, guys, so don't forget to brush up your knowledge :-)

5. R e s p o n s i b i l i t y

One of the main important things. Who wants to be a friend of irresponsible person? I bet none of you :) If you promise something, do your best to follow it, no matter how hard it is. I think responsibility is related to respect and if we lack respect towards others, then we lose ability to be reponsible. What do you think?

6. S m i l e

If possible, keep your positive mood, don't get down because of little things. Try to make fun of yourself even in if you failed. Sense of humour is in my opinion very essential, can spice up our life and make it awesome!

I hope, at least one of the letters of my word CHEERS was important for you and motivated you little bit. Now let me say few last words, my friends..

Thank you for tolerating my unbearable personality here on My EC :D

Thank you for being around and cheering me up...

Thank you for your opinions, views, which made me a bit wiser...

Thank you for participating in my challenges...

Thank you for making me happy with your comments on my blogs and photos...

Thank you for supporting me and for making my bad days brighter…

I wish you all the best in upcoming year 2017,

especially to be healthy, to keep smile on your face

and to make this year as much prosperous as you can...

Danny Clark's Challenge: Winter Fairytale

It was cold winter morning. One of these mornings Mr. Frost left his paintings on the windows and Miss Snowflake surprised everybody with her magic as she covered over the night the whole landscape by white, glittery snow.

Winter Kingdom opened its gates once more again and exactly at this time two winter gnomes - brothers called Icicle and Snowdrift woke up after several months. They opened the door of their tree apartment and sladed down right away on the icy slide. Ooopps ...what an adrenalin ride! Happiness was shining in their eyes. First of all they decided to take a walk to check everyhing around. Both of them had great fun, they were sledging, enjoyed great snowball battle but then suddenly they heard somebody crying. When they came closer, they saw behind the snowy spruce a lonely Winter Fairy crying so intensively that both brothers immediately felt urgent need to help her.
Icicle asked: "What happened, my dearest Winter Fairy?"
Fairy answered: "Well... today in the morning I experienced something shocking! My father asked me to marry one of you! Either you... Icicle or you... Snowdrift!"
Both of them were staring at her with open mouth and didn't believe their ears! Icicle thought for a while it was a joke but Winter Fairy assured them she had to choose one of them till the midnight! Later Winter Fairy explained she loved somebody else, in fact she was in love with the Prince of Frozen lake. Both brothers knew it was high time to help Winter Fairy, so they didn't wait a single second and immediately ran to the Frozen lake to tell the Prince his love is in danger! Prince welcome them and afterwards he had heard this whole story, he packed his stuff and went with them back to Winter Fairy. It was time to make a plan! Prince took on clothes of Snowdrift as he was the same height and decided to try his luck in disguise. Then Winter Fairy holding hand of Prince, who was wearing Snowdrift costume went to her father's house and tried to persuade him, she chose Snowdrift. Firstly her father was surprised but as he knew about love of his daughter and Prince, he didnt believe his eyes, she betrayed Prince!!!
After few minutes of staring at them both, he said: "Dear daughter, I hope you chose a good guy and believe me, I do wish you all the best!"
Prince answered: "Yes, please, be sure her decission was very smart."
Father suddenly felt confused as he recognized this voice wasn't voice of Snowdrift and instantly asked: "Who are you???!!!"
Prince felt tired of hiding himself and decided to disclose his identity: "Dear father, I am Prince of Frozen lake and I do love your daughter. Please allow me to marry her..."
Father of Winter Fairy started laughing and they all thought he went mad! Anyway, after some time he told them: "You have no idea, how happy I am because I knew about your secret love and my plan was to little bit force Prince to marry my daughter as he hasn't have courage for several years to come to me! However, now finally, we can start with wedding preparations and our Winter Kingdom will again experience freezing wedding full of joy and love…"

Icicle and Snowdrift ran away to the forest to spread this news, whereas Winter Fairy looked at her Prince, he kissed her and they lived happily forever and after...

Unique moment that can last forever...

I am there. Deeply immersed in my own imagination. Hidden at place, where the word moment lost its meaning and turned to neverending dreaming. I myself stopped time. I myself broke all the rules. Mixture of sweet warm pleasure and feeling of undescribable beauty slowly flooded my body and suddenly I was again witness of my own past. I am standing close to the window and watching a picturesque, unique, unforgettable image of sunset. I have no idea for how long it will last. Brilliant sunset that made me speechless. Luxurious sunset that wanted me to share its beauty with the whole world. The grace of dark red clouds and orange sun, which has already almost disappeared will always remind me of relaxing atmosphere full of peace and inner balance. We live such moments maybe only once but we can dream of them forever and recall our feelings over and over again...

I have been thinking long and hard, how to come up with this sensitive topic without hurting anybody with my sincerity, so please while reading this, don't forget, I am here as a gentle, nice critic, not somebody, who wants to be pain in your ehm… a** :-)

Well, like you all have noticed, we had really awesome poetic challenge here on My EC, which came viral and many active bloggers participated. Big applause to Onee for her idea!!! Many poems were composed and published. I read them almost all BUT I hardly left a comment. The question is… WHY? You know, guys, I am sincere and not somebody two-faced, who will tell you, wooow – awesome poem but will think something totally different. I just simply can't do that, so this all was my inner, personal fight.

Anyway, back to the topic. Unfortunately, I came to the conclusion that many posted poems I read had NO RHYMES. I hope, you all know, what rhyme means and that it is the main characteristic feature of the poem as we were taught at school. I also know, there is something called free verse poem but even this style has its own rules, therefore I am personally against it and would like to share with you a quotation from one American poet:

To sum it up… Do you really think it is such a big deal to compose an easy rhyme? I am not anybody special, my poem is just average and I bet full of mistakes, however I just kept the main idea of the poem - to compose it with the rhyme. If you don't know, how to do it, I would like to be helpful, so here is my short "poetry guide".

1. You must have an idea, what you want to write about. So let's say I want to compose a poem about Foggy Forrest.

2. Imagine this foggy forrest and now brainstorming part is coming. Don't forget, you should turn on your fantasy on maximum :-)

3. Suddenly, I got first line of my poem in my head.

I am lost, trees are everywhere AROUND

4. Now, it is time to think, what can rhyme with around. Usually I come up with some own ideas but when it is something hard – the word, you can use rhyme makers, you look up on the Internet – but please, try to use them as less as it is possible – it is kinda cheating, nah? :-D

So, let's continue and finish the rhyme… I am thinking .. "what the hell can rhyme with AROUND"… and there are on my mind words such as, WOUND, SOUND, FOUND, etc. I like the word SOUND and now it is my task to transfer it to the second line… so here I am thinking about the second line…

there is no wind, no shining sun, no sound…

You see? I got first two lines of my poem with the rhyme:

I am lost, trees are everywhere AROUND,

there is no wind, no shining sun, no SOUND.

By the way, I know this might be a bit silly but I am not able to make awesome sophisticated rhymes in few miutes, while writing this all. Let me also add that there are different kinds of rhymes etc., so I showed you the easiest one on my exmple above.

So I hope, I was little bit useful and this blog maybe gave you different view on poems  and you will try to compose something interesting :-) I am of course not against your posts, where you express yourself in ten lines that are full of nice emotions but I am not sure, if we can call it poem.. Thanx for reading it all and I hope, I won't be eaten alive :-D

My insane hallucination

This all is just my crazy imagination,

my dream, my weird hallucination.

I created this world I am living in,

Angel or Devil? Both can't win...

Either I am an angel with fake smile,

or cool devil pretending to be fragile.

Please, don't cry, it is unfair, I know,

just choose one and let's start the show.

You hardly decide so easily and fast,

to avoid own mistakes from the past.

But it is challenging to play with fire,

chasing wild angel, feeling desire...

This time you badly failed, you are lost,

your angel turned out to be scary ghost!

Devil with pure heart was clear winner,

now you will burn in the hell, you sinner!

Can you go back to nature?

It is like a trap we all are slowly falling into. It is like a drug more and more of us are being day by day attracted to. It is like a blackhole that imprisones us inside without our awareness. In fact consuming, virtual life style in this modern era is killing us, taking our identities and makes us slaves of the system. One day people will forget, how it feels to spend hours outside, how amazing it is to stand on the top of the hill or to sleep under the sky, how it feels to enjoy this awesome feeling nature can satisfy us with. It is unfair, nature is fading away from our minds and maybe after some centuries will be totally vanished and will become something imaginary. Things are getting more and more virtual and people accept it as it is, lazily go with the flow. Who knows, maybe our next generations will percieve virtuality real and reality fake, maybe virtual flower will be more imporant than the real one. Isn't this all a bit pathetic? We come from nature, we should respect it, protect it, adore it, but not forget it or destroy it. When I am thinking about it all, it makes me pretty sad and at such moments I feel like packing my stuff and going somewhere far away. Just to live like a castaway on desert island, be happy and die happy in nature...

AG's writing challenge: Tell a joke

Husband and wife are in bedroom lying on bed and he suddenly after several months started touching her body. Firstly he gently touched her hair, then her neck, suddenly his hand moved to her ellbow, then he touched her belly and then...all of a sudden he stopped, turned back, stood up and was about to leave the bedroom. His wife with dissapointed tone in voice asked:"What happened?"He answered: "Nothing...just...finally I found remote control!"

Journey of the yellow leaf

It was late October. The old oak on the top of the hill started slowly losing its leaves. Winter was around the corner and mother nature was preparing everything for the first freezing days. As many other leaves, I was also thinking about my future and realized that sooner or later my time would come. Sun was getting weaker and weaker day by day and my colour turned into dark yellow. Wind was blowing more intensively and nervousness other leaves spread around was in the air. They felt anxious and scared of falling down, unlike me because I was reconciled to my fate. Then... one day without warning, it happened! All of a sudden I found myself flying in the air and cold wind was just playing with me, I was swinging from side to side. Woow, it was such an awesome feeling. I felt free and totally careless. Finally I can see the village in the valley differently, from other angles and I am impressed, how beautiful the whole landscape looks like. Sun is greeting me and its rays are shining through my yellow transparent colour. I am flying and enjoying my journey of happiness and freedom. I am falling in the air, getting more and more down. Now when I am just a few meters above the ground, I have noticed a couple of lovers sitting on the bench, kissing each other and oopppsss I have landed in her long curly hair! He took me gently out of there and said: "Baby, look.. autumn is here and I can't believe my eyes from where this poor leaf had to fly as there are no oaks around...interesting!" He put me next to him on the bench and I just thought: "Yeah I have come a long way, if you only knew that this was my last journey. Now I can peacefully forever fall asleep with knowing that I really did enjoy my last moments of life..."

Moral: Don't live just for one moment because you are not

a leaf :-D (ok, jokes apart)

Serious moral: Feel free and enjoy the whole life, one day it might be too late to catch up with, what you have missed...

Dear food lovers, especially those who are into sweets. I am calling youuuuuuuuuu to gather here right now, don't miss your unique chance! Well, I would like to introduce you Bábovka [ba:bofka], which is one of the traditional Czech sweet dishes. You can have it for breakfast or enjoy it as a snack with a cup of coffee or tea during the day. It is very easy to prepare and also easily eaten as it is so delicious :-) In fact, it is something homemade and honestly, I rarely saw bábovka in caffé, maybe I can run such kind of business! Anyway, you can come across bábovka also in Germany, France or Austria and because people in the past immigrated, you can taste it even in the USA or Australia! However, here we have many various kinds of it such as bábovka made of almonds, banana, puding powder etc. - so I can say we are bábovka's imperium.

I hope at least some of you are now mouthwatering and curious to get to know, what you need for it to prepare it. Well… let me tell you that you need an OVEN because without oven you wouldn't be able to bake it. In case you don't have it, just go to the store and buy some or maybe even better, order it online! :-D Let's skip this part you have been waiting for ages to get your oven and let me ask you to go to the kitchen and find your MUG (250ml) - hope you all have it. Before you start baking, be sure you have all the ingredients at home – to avoid running to the store with dirty hands in the middle of this process :-)

Ingredients:

3 eggs

¾ mug of suggar

2 mugs of all propoused flour

1 mug of milk

½ mug of vegetable oil

1 package of baking powder (12g)

1 package of vanilla suggar (12g) – optional

little bit of grated lemon peel - optional

2 table spoons of cocoa (Holland cocoa is the best)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Direction:

1. As we are going to make a dough – you need a BOWL, where you will put all above mentioned ingredients. So take your bowl and firstly put suggar and eggs in it.

2. Now be ready with your HAND BLENDER and start blending it, it should take you like 3 minutes.

3. Add milk, oil, flour, vanilla suggar, baking powder, grated lemon peel and start again blending this all to get some kind of dough – let me show you its consistence.

4. Time to start with some magics. Find some smaller bowl and put there 1/3 of dough. Then add cocoa and make it kinda chocolate dough, yeah you have to stir it properly.

5. Well, maybe you will hate me now but as you see the shape of BÁBOVKA – it isn't just something, what you would be able to make by own hands :-D You need a form – let me show you my silicon form but it is old, so don't get scared :-D btw don't dare to stop reading right now as you got depressed you have no form, I have another option for you :-)

6. You can also bake it in a cake form – I think it would be just different shape – but the taste would be the same! So.. firstly use white dough – half of it, then add on this white part that one chocolate dough and then use the rest of white dough. Easy, right?

7. Preheat the oven for 180C and put bábovka inside – bake it for first 10 minutes like this, then reduce the temperature in oven to 150C and bake it for 40 minutes.

8. To recognize, if it is done – just use something you would stick in it and if the dough would be stuck around, it is not done yet.

9. Remove bábovka from the oven and let it rest and cool down little bit. Later remove the form and enjoy its awesome taste :-)

Guys, let me invite you to my country. In this blog, I would like to share something little bit surprising, maybe interesting or totally unknown for some of you. Like you know, I come from Czech republic (in the past Czechoslovakia) and thanx to the fact that it is not such a big country, people usually know just some basic facts about it. Anyway, let me ask: Have you ever heard of Czech national heritage? I mean something we are really proud of! No? Ohhh… so in this case I would love to little bit enlighten you. Let me tell you that Czech republic can show off with several unique and picturesque castles, palaces, chateaus, ruins of the castles etc. Still not believing me? Ok, so let me come with a little proof :-)

You know, the thing is that my country isn't large, its area is just 79.000 km². For your better imagination - 41 Czech republics on the map would have the same area like India! Anyway, back to my point. Isn't it cool that in such small country you can come across more than 1500 sights and our top 100 castles are really beautiful ones you can see in the farytales and of course they are well preserved!

On the contrarery those castles that turned after some time into the ruins thanks to the wars in the past...Guess what? We also care about them and do the maximum to keep them because they also remind us of our history.

Many of those sights belong to the state and are open for the public, just some private are closed. You can visit our castles from April to October, only during the winter they are mostly closed as it isn't touristic season. Lately there are also many programmes you can come across, when you visit a castle... such as concerts, medieval fights organized by historical groups, performance for the kids etc. So, my friends, don't forget - one day, when you are in Czech republic, visit some castles because it is unforgettable experience and it is really worth it!

All the pictures were taken by me because I love our castles and our history and if you are interested in reading something more about Czech republic, you can check my other blogs:

Writing challenge: My cup of coffee

So here I am with my blog dedicated to MY MUG/CUP of COFFEE and I hope others will also join soon this challenge :) ehmm.. like Mary, Eva, Ellen promised :-p

Firstly, let me tell you that some months ago a big tragedy happened! My favorite, awesome mug my sister gave me died!!! I felt like crying, when I myself broke it :( It was such a cute mug with a picture of zebra - this drawing was intentionally childish - exactly the style I like! It looked little bit like this but it was much more better :/

Now I m using often a mug my mom gave me as a gift. It is one of those classical mugs with name and some weirdo explanation of your character. However, there are just positives, so drinking from something like this makes narcissist like me feel good! Let me show you my yesterday's coffee..

As for drinking coffee - I drink coffee twice a day. First cup I have at work with my colleagues in the morning. We usually little bit chat, gossip and enjoy our morning tasty espresso. Yeah.. this is  an adventage of officers :) Second cup I prepare usually when I am back home from work in the afternoon. Sometimes with husband, sometimes alone but it is relaxing to me. You know, when my working hours are over, I must almost run to the tram station, then I rush to the school and then to the kindergarten to manage everything in time :) So to come home after this all and have a good cup of coffee is like a therapy!

I was thinking, how to describe you my process of preparing coffee but eventually I got an idea to take the pictures! So here is my homemade espresso. In fact, I have just a little espresso machine, grinder and some good coffee beans - ehm not those expensive that some animals excreted :D

Thanx for reading my blog and I am looking forward to reading YOUR BLOGS...

Hello guys,

Chillax! Let's have a cup of coffee :-)

Can you imagine your day without a cup of coffee? If not, welcome to the world of coffeeholics! Those, who love drinking coffee, those who consider preparing coffee everyday ritual, those who fully enjoy each sip and feel satisfied with awesome taste, aroma and pleasure it gives. Espresso, latté, arabic coffee, caffé lungo or filtered coffee? Which would you like to have? As I am coffeeholic, who loves to drink coffee twice a day, I decided to come up with this topic and do some research here on EC.

No doubt coffee has been here for ages but do you know, who discovered this special, energetic affect of caffeine? You might find it funny but in 9th century AD Ethiopian shephards found out that their goats were "dancing" after eating coffee burries. Later a local monk decided to make a cup of those coffee burries and to his surprise he couldn't sleep at night. Poor monk, hope he didn't make it too strong and didn't die of heart attack! Another interesting thing is that in the past coffee was even banned and not just once! Mekka, Italy, Constantinopole, Sweden and Prussia (nowadays Germany) – places all around the world and some people simply didn't consider coffee good enough! However, nowadays we can enjoy it without fear everywhere but... wait, wait… not everytime! I came across one fact - according to some scientists we should drink coffee between 9:30am and 11:30am. As for me, I drink my first coffee usually at 8am or 8:30 am at work and I have no idea, if I would be able to wait till 9:30 am to take my cup of coffee. Yeah, coffee addicts simply can't wait! :D

By the way, do you know what some names of coffee stand for? No? So check this out ;-)

Espresso – it means "forced out" – if you have espresso machine, you may know the way espresso is being prepared, it is literally forced out - I mean warm watter is forced out under the pressure through ground coffee, by the way original espresso is just a cup of 25 ml coffee!

Capuchino – in fact a cup of capuchino looks like a dress that Capuchin monks were wearing. I guess, it is because of the cap of this costume, which can remind some people of a cap made of milk. Otherwise, I have no idea, what is similar here :-D

Latté – in Italian latté means milk, so if you would go to the store and asked for latté, they would give you just milk. That is why, it is called Caffé Latté - coffe with steamed milk

Caffé Lungo – this is what I enjoy, it is bigger espresso because original espresso is too strong for somebody like me and I would drink it in few seconds and then would die :-D I want to enjoy drinking coffee and spend some time with my love (coffee)

Turkish Coffee – in fact, this is not a kind of coffee but a special method of preparing unfiltered coffee, which is used in many Arabic countries. In every country it is called differently – Syrian Coffee, Greek coffee, Bosnian coffee etc. However, it came originally from Yemen as the Turkish soultan fell in love with this coffee there and spread it then to Turkey…

Instant Coffee – time to time I also enjoy my Nescafé, even though I know it is not that healthy as it is instant coffee and as for quality I bet many coffee experts would slap me for drinking something like this. But…. it is not that expensive, you prepare it fast and easy and that is the point :-)

Let me ask you...Would you like to drink the most expensive coffee in the world? If yes - then be ready with 600 dollars in your pocket…what for? Well, these coffee beans are very special and expensive because they are excreted by Sumatraean wild cat!!! Another very expensive coffee is made of beans you can come across in dung of Thai Elephants. Bon apetit, guys! :-D And now something for our EC cats a cat lovers :-) In Japan and Korea exist CAT COFFEES, where you can hang out with the cats, while drinking coffee! :-D

Sooo..which coffee is your favorite and when do you drink it?

Have you ever heard of Natural family planning or you have no clue, what does it stand for? Let me bring up this topic as I consider it something very important and also kind of compromising, when it comes to rejecting birth control pills or using other methods thanks to the religious, health or other issues.

Well, firstly let me tell you that natural family planning is here from two reasons. First one - to find the best days woman can get pregnant, second one - to avoid days woman can get pregnant as the couple doesn't want right at this moment a baby. In my opinion it is smart to plan family because if we don't care and just produce more and more kids like unctrollable animals... what happens? In case we are not that rich - of course we won't be able to afford many things and our life standard will decrease, we won't be able to feed own hungry kids and we can just dream about their good education. On one hand religious people might opose that baby is God's blessing, on the other hand let me ask: "Is God's blessing to live in poority with seven little kids, who have to beg on the streets? Is blessing to let own kid die because we have no money? Is this blessing life people dream of?"

You know, Christianity used to be too strict but lately, some decades ago in 1968 Pope Pavel VI. came up with the special documments (Encyclica Humanae Vitae) discussing marriage and also method of using fertile and non-fertile days. Of course, I m not talking about birth control pills or abortion, which doesn't go with the word „natural“ in the title of this blog but about those suitable and not suitable days that we choose for having or not having a baby. Honestly, I just think, if people around the world would be informed more at least about something like this - it would decrease poverty in the world. As for something called Fertility Awareness - it is for free and if woman knows her body pretty good, the only one thing you have to know is... counting!
