I know that everything you said was with the greatest respect and gratitude. I try hard, but it may be difficult to live up to your high opinion of me. Yes, I did spend a lot of time trying to cultivate you into a writer. But, I hope you know that everything you have done was from your own hard work, once you took the first step and began blogging. I guess I offered some corrections and advice, but it was no more than I expect you to do as a teacher with those you will encourage to improve.

We will continue to work together to boost your self confidence so that you don't worry of falling short of my expectations. You already have achieved more than I could have expected when we started. You learn for the joy of learning and help others for the reward of knowing that they are benefiting from your assistance. This is the circle of learning from teacher to student that has continuously moved civilization forward. If you have one student turn out the way that you have then you have more than repaid me for my investment in you. If you have two students go on to be teachers or other high achievers then we both have left the world a better place.

You have been a great student and an even better teacher. I am humbled that you attribute some of your success to me.

I also want to thank you for the song Anele. In a perfect world I would be able to visit the Philippines and spend time there teaching and trying to encourage people to stretch as far as they could to reach their potential. We only have one life on this earth and even as I am near my children in Japan, I am far from my brothers and my sister.

At this point in my life I can do more good for the world by teaching overseas than I can in my own country. If I ever do come to your country, I promise to let you know and get your advice on the places that need English teachers. Maybe I will give it a try when I finally retire. :)

What? What do you mean my greatness, Anele? I was a member no more than you, but just a teacher who recognized hidden talent. You were one of the ideal members because you were helping to shape young minds in a positive way and you were very concerned about improving your English.

It didn't take long before I saw you could write well, but you were too afraid to write your first blog. This was a big site with lots of people chatting and exchanging short messages, but not so many people were stretching their bonds to improve beyond their level. Please don't give me credit for your hard work. I was just the mama bird pushing the baby out of the nest. I always knew you could fly. By the way, I am so very proud how you have developed and how you are helping others on this site. I am very happy that I kept pushing you to write if that is what got you going to become what you are today. I love being a teacher and seeing people spread their wings and fly. I will remember the pineapple essay until the day I die :) (which I hope isn't going to be too soon).

Who are "we"?!

Ummm....I'm not on vacation. Actually I do nothing...so it's strange to say if I'm on vacation these days. I wasn't away because I was busy, I was away because I didn't feel like writing anything. I watched a lot Korean dramas during that period. In fact, I watched all the good ones...so I'm back till they make some more good dramas. :D

Hi Anele ..how are you ? If I am really good at English, then I should be proud of you my teacher .You guided me with my first sentences and put me on right path .

You were also the source of my inspiration and my motive to write many nice poems and blogs .
