I have run out of the word limit. But I'd like to say that I am flying to Florida on Monday if the weather permits. I am planning to stay in the USA for a week.

Hi, dear Bill! I am doing very fine. I haven't been very active in EC since September. I am teaching many lessons and sometimes have no time for shopping or cooking. But it is a month of holidays here so I have got some spare time. Bill, I have one problem, though.
I am trying to teach a deaf guy. He is smart and skillful. He is four year student at the National Technical University and he is a good one. His level of English is high enough. He can speak rather good Russian but it is very problematic for me to help him with English pronunciation not to say about the language of English gestures. Can you promt me something? He wears hearing aid (apparatus) but anyway, he doesn't hear like we do. Besides, before he came to my place he had tried to learn English himself and it is my understanding that he had succeeded greatly both in grammar and in vocabulary. But on the other hand, his reading and, especially, his speech need correcting. I can help him with reading, no doubt, but what to do with his speaking? I think, I should make myself clear. He can speak but I seem to be the only one English speaking person who understands what he says. You are so experienced teacher! Can you advise me something?
There is the other problem. It is necessary for him to learn reading English speech from lips and gestures. I know how to do it but I have found the only one useful site till now. Unfortunately, that site is new and there are only four videos. It is a special site for the deaf. The idea is that the teachers speak very slowly articulating each sound very carefully and the subtitles appear with the word being pronunced. So, if you know some other sites like that or ,maybe , ones that teach the language of gestures I, together with my student, will be very thankfull. Bill, I would appreciate any advice of yours!
