  • Hi, Bill
I'm planning to teach adults one on one myself soon.
I have no experience though in teaching adults.
What do you reckon I should give them, what kind of materials and how.
The adult I'm about to teach is going to go abroad and need some speaking and writing skills.
  • Thank for your explanation..
i hope you are not bored to answer mw question if i get any trouble.

  • Hi bill,
    i'm from indonesia.
now i'm a student in university as junior.
I take english department. But i really confused bout usage tenses, especially perfect tense. Could you help me?
  • Hello Bill!

I just came here through Wiro, and oh, congratulations on being a grandfather!

I teach English at a university, but I'm more inclined towards literature and linguistics. However, I started my career teaching grammar and oral communication to high school and college students, and yes, I agree that pronunciation is one of the hardest things to teach!

Another thing that somehow bothers me is that when I introduce myself as an English teacher in forums, everybody, and I do mean most of the time, everybody expects me to help them out right away! It's not that I don't want to help out per se, it's that I sometimes am not in the mood :). One time somebody fought me online because of this :P.

    Best regards,

    Jahara

  • Hi Bill, it's me Deni from Indonesia. I want you to tell me how to teach English as a foreign language? It's very complicated for my students to learn English because they feel it's so strange. Thanks for your comment
