  I am amazed how many things I have learned from EC members, since I joined this online community. Invaluable experience of online interactive project with people from other cultures.
  
  I intend to involve some of my students and friends into EC that serves as means of real communication with real people. This is the best text-book ever.

  Wow! Bill, thanks for a very good explanation of vehicular vs vernacular. I am aware of the latter, but the former got me all surprised.
  
  Lingva franca in reference to English sounded very confusing to me too. This is why I chose to ask of what was implied.
  
  I am excited to learn new vocabulary! Thanks again for help out! It makes all the sense in the world to me now.

  Hi Bill, Nice to meet you too... there are lots of challanges like i face problem in modals and preposition. most of my studies were in Hindi medium so i am not as fluent as my friends who have studied in convent schools. But i want to acquire that expertise which they have. I like English literature also and I read them too.

  You know Bill, I learned to dance the tinikling in H.S. for our school presentation. I always got butterflies in my stomach during rehearsal. Though I both have left feet when it comes to dancing, I was able to do it just the same as the others. My dancing (Physical Education adviser) teacher sure was patient ... :-)

  Dear Bill, I am glad you liked the pictures taken in the Altay Mountains area. That's a region close to Mongolian border. Colorado Mountains landscapes that you posted look like Altay mountains to me too. Earth is a fantastic place!
