Essay Writing Service :)))

Hello everyone!

What a great day to be here in MyEC and meet you all. :)

As you see in the title, I am sometimes bored of reading blogs about writing service.

Do you know 'writing service'? It's like a cheating way to do essay task or final project in academic institution such as school, university, or college. I'm just wondering why people do such a way to do their essay. Do you know why?

I remember about my final project in the university. How I struggled to finish my writing essay. How I should stay up late as I almost never do that. It took a year. I even cried desperately for that LOL. Okay, I'm not a genius. But, I did finish it myself, with the support of friends of course.

One day, I talked with a friend from other university. "Oh, you'll be busy next semester as you're going to do final project". "Don't worry, Onee! You know, I know how to make it settled without doing anything". "Hhh?". DD

Later, I knew a little about this black service from other friend. Someone from my university got paid for serving essay writing for a student of other campus. LOL. It was not a company, just personal. It was different student from the previous one as well.

Last, I read so many blogs offering writing service on MyEC. It's greater than the previous ones. They are company and they clearly offer writing service. I laughed to know this at first. Maybe I just didn't know such black service before. LOL

As per MyEC Rules, surely we should report it, any commercial posts unrelated to English Learning. You may think, oh, they're just working to earn money. Okay, poor them, but this is not the place. :) Everyone can help to report it as well.

Thank you for reading, and have a great day! ^_^

GS: Grandpa, I wonder why I have never seen you get stressed. You have a secret, don't you?

GP: Hohohoo.....my grandson, you're such a keen observer that you know I have never got stressed. Now you're asking me as if you are a spy. First, bring me a cup of coffee, can you?

GS: Okay, but you will tell me the secret, won't you?

GP: Ehmmm, yeah, everything I will give, my dear...

[Moments later]

GS: Here it is.

GP: Oh, thank you, my dearest grandson.

"slurppp" [....sound of sipping coffee, lol]

GS: [waiting for grandpa's speech]

GP: Ohh, it's really sweet like you. Well, my dear. To be honest, I don't have a lot to say. I have already told you one of the secrets, haven't I?

GS: Mmmm.....What's that...?

GP: Do you remember that I gave you advice a few days ago? You have practiced it, haven't you?

GS: Oh, yes, I'm trying, but it's not so easy.

GP: That's fine. At least you try. One more thing is, be grateful of what we have. You can expect something, but try to remember that everything happens for a reason. It's not complicated, is it?

GS: Grandpa, it's like a puzzle for me. How could you say it's not complicated? Anyway, I will remember it and try my best.

GP: Great!

"Slurppp...." [sipping coffee again. lol]

Now, let's have a lunch together now, shall we?

GS: Sure, I'm so hungry.

Good morning, everyone! ^_^

If you are enthusiastic in visiting MyEC today, it means you are curious about MyEC today, aren't you?

That's the grammar that we will revise today. It's about Tag Questions. I was about to write the resume from my book, but EC already has it. The complete one. 8)

https://www.englishclub.com/grammar/tag-questions.htm

Feel free to write any dialogue or interview on a blog using tag questions and then you can post it on MyEC, with the title "Dialogue Challenge: Using Tag Questions" or you can add more. Practice makes perfect, doesn't it? :)

I have some ideas here about the topic you may consider to take.

  1. A dialogue between you and a beggar
  2. A dialogue about health
  3. A dialogue between brothers and sisters at home
  4. A serious dialogue about fun thing
  5. A dialogue between two lovers
  6. A dialogue about love
  7. A witty dialogue between two kids
  8. A dialogue between you and anyone you want to write. :)

Tag question is frequently used in spoken English. We use it when we want other people to agree or disagree. To keep a conversation going, we ask confirmation by adding tag question to the end of our statement. Normally, a positive statement is followed by a negative tag and a negative statement is followed by a positive tag.

Hence, the challenge is to make a dialogue using tag questions. I'm looking forward to your participation. :)

Let's keep our fingers cross, shall we?

Here is my ENTRY.

Have a great day! ^_^

One day, I opened my eyes and was surprised, even shocked. How could everything be so dark, total black, the darkest black, without color, not even a single dot of light. I tried to sit on my bed. My heart was full of anxiety and confusion.... "I still can't believe this. Am I blind now?". My two hands were shivering and still holding the blanket. I was sure that that was not a dream.

"Nooo!! Is this a warning? Or is this a punishment? What is a big fault that I have ever done? This is really uncomfortable! Noo...! I want to be able to see the world like yesterday. I want to see colors. I want to see greenery. I want to see the blue sky. I want to see the water flow. I want to see how handsome .......... I want to see the beauty of the world", I was looking for a glimmer of light, but failed.

"Now I know how the blinds feel. It's really scary...! They can't see anything! How could they survive in this world? I have never imagined that I would be ...... I cannot see the lights. Darkness will make me hard to survive. How would I walk, how would I eat, how would I dress, how would I survive without reading and write??" I almost cried, but something motivated me that everything happens for a reason.

I got out of my bed, took some steps toward the door of my room, and open it .......

It was at 4 a.m., and there was a power blackout. I then saw the glimmer of light in the distance. ^^ I felt so grateful that there was nothing worse happened. It was a scarily unforgettable moment. Since then, I appreciate more everything that I have. I promise to myself that I will keep them well.

This is a real story of me. ^^

Thank you very much for reading. "Have a wonderful day!" ^_^

A few days ago, I had a conversation with my student about success.

Though the following dialogue is not completely the same with what I were talking at that moment, it has the similar message. :)

We were learning language, Indonesian.

Me: You got a score of 6 out of 10, four mistakes. Let's analyze your mistakes.

Stu: I thought it was easy since this is Indonesian, our language.

Me: Yeah, I will tell you that the key of mastering Indonesian or any language is reading more and more. You can read newspaper, interesting novels, and other good books. That will enrich your vocabulary.

Stu: You're right, Sis. In fact, we don't know the meaning of some words in our language.

(To be honest, none of my students call me teacher or madam, lol, they call me Sis, ^^)

Me: It's true. But don't worry. We can do our best by being patient in learning process.

Suddenly, he came up with other topic. Being stressed after answering the questions with a not so good result, he said...

Stu: But Sis, people now don't need to work hard and they can be successful in their life.

Me: How can you conclude so?

Stu: I see people just play Tik Tok and they can be successful.

(I almost die of laughter...)

Me: Wait....wait...... errmmm...

Stu: People also make videos on YouTube and they reach success.

Me: Ermmm.....

(Tell me how I should answer this? lol)

Stu: How is it, Sis?

Me: First, you should define what success is. If you mean attaining fame or wealth, than you can do that. But....... Is it your goal? There is nothing wrong with that, but, success is when you reach your goal, when you accomplish your purpose.

Stu: But they can be rich.

Me: Well, yes dear. Success is not only about being rich. Most people will look at one's wealth, it's true. However, are you sure that they are happy and find what they want? We mostly look at the appearance of people on their success. Try to think more deeply about reaching the goal. If a man has reached his goal, then it would be a great happiness and success for him, even if it was not to be rich.

Stu: But, we need money.

Me: So true. Most important is we should do our best in life. Even if you become a YouTuber, the best way is you have knowledge. In my point of view, success is when you can be useful for others, whether it is your family, your friends, or even foreigners. If you reach that, then I believe that success will chase after you. ^^

Then,....I forgot how I analyzed his mistakes, lol

*Stu: Student :D

This is how I simply describe success. I would like to know your views.

2018 was a great year to me. Many things happened as changes in my life. Not all of them were good. But somehow there is a great lesson to me.

The big thing was when I changed my phone number due to the broken sim card, my friends thought that I wanted to vanish from their world. lol. [please leave it, it isn't the main thing :D]. This is how I know who the real friend is. In friendship, I always say "do not make a gap among friends". Yes, why? When you have only two friends and both suddenly betray you all of sudden, it is the best end for you to get depressed. I know this is not a big or new thing in general. But, I have learned how to love people even more in their absence of loving me. Some people are close to us, some people rarely talk to us. Have you ever thought that the ones who close to us may not be close to us or otherwise? Sometimes, we do not know it who the real friend is until they care when we are down or until we are not beneficial anymore to him/her. The bottom line is, "Be always sincere in friendship!".

My great wish for new year of 2019 is I want to have more good time with people as I think I have spent too much time with something else. )))) One more thing, I will have new works or projects in 2019, so I greatly wish the best for it.

Your turn to join the challenge!

Have an awesome year of 2019! ^_^

Good morning, MyEC Members! :))

What do you think about the story above? Did you get the different meaning of the words in bold? YES. This is a new challenge for you. :) The same word can be used as different parts of speech. What is 'parts of speech'?? EnglishClub has provided the material for you. Generally, we know or use a word in one or two parts of speech. Let's try this way to learn the words deeper.

I would offer you some words here. You need to look up dictionary to know more, though. Anyway, you can choose another word.

BENEFIT - ABOVE - BACK - DASH - DATE - ADVANCE - TREAT - ALL

How to participate?

1) Make a SHORT STORY using a word that has multiple meanings OR can be used as a different part of speech.

2) Post A BLOG with this title (same title, you can add your 'word') and every word you use must be written in bold so that others can learn from it.

3) Make mini dictionary OR give the link of the meaning of the word you use.

4) See the example above!

I'm sorry to challenge you with grammar again. ^^ To reach higher, we should boost our English skill with grammar, shouldn't we? ))) I would try to correct your blog if you wish. Of course you may ask fluent teachers for help. So, add 'correction' in the tag, I would suggest. Last, please please tell me if you still find any mistakes on mine.

Here are other examples for your reference.

Thank you so much for reading. Please include other words here if you know. I'm looking forward to your participation. ^_^

Advice from Grandpa

A dialogue between grandpa (GP) and grandson (GS).

GP: Dearest Grandson, have you ever felt hatred to someone?
GS: Yes, Grandpa. I even wanted to squeeze the neck of that person whenever I met him.
GP: Oooh! Why so?
GS: He defamed me, mocked me, and always made me feel embarrassed in front of my friends.
GP: So, how did you feel?
GS: Hufh! I didn't feel good at all. My heart felt anxious and I could hardly sleep for many nights. My mind was distracted thinking about it.
GP: Mmmm, that's it. If you kept hatred to someone, that could lead you to a fatal consequence.
GS: What do you mean, Grandpa?

GP: You see! If you feel anxious and can hardly sleep, your immune will decrease and your body will be susceptible to any diseases.
GS: So, what should I do?
GP: You just wait for your death as you've already got illnesses. ^_^
GS: Hahh??! Don't scare me, Grandpa! Tell me the solution, please...! ;((

GP: Hahhahh....I was just kidding, my dear. Please don't take it to your heart. ^_^
Well, I suggest you not to hate the person, but their bad action. I believe that we can take a lesson from everything happened in this world.
GS: How could it be?
GP: Let's take an example. If you know well the pain of being mocked or defamed, then you will not do it to others. You will be careful of what you will say to others, if you're willing to think.
GS: I see.
GP: Free your heart from all hatred or envy to others. Do not feel superior than others so that you can be humble and will not easily get hurt. If you can do that, you will have a wonderful life.
GS: Alright, Sir!! :)

Wish you a wonderful day! ^_^

ANDA, a sixth grader, coming late to the course place.

Chat Moderators

Good Morning, Everyone! ^_^

It's probably not morning there, but morning always shows high spirit. :))

Did you notice that we have a new Moderator? Yes, EC Member is our new Chat Mod. Let me extend my felicitation...

CONGRATULATION, EC Member! :)

Chat Room is one section that maybe most newbies will see the first time how they were impressed on this learning site. This is from my own experience. So, most members may wish to have Chat Mod all time in ChatRoom, moreover when they don't have topics OR members need to solve chatter's problem. We have Nadira and Paula as great Chat Mods, I think you'll agree with that. Now, we have EC Member, count me the last, I'm not really into chat. ^^  I hope we will help each other and keep the ChatRoom alive. No Mods or members will go online 24 hours, won't they? :)

What happen these days in ChatRoom? Not many people talk in any topics? No response? Ever thought someone or people are to blame for this? I hope we won't blame each other. :) What about discussing this?

What do you expect from Chat Mods, any ideas? :)

Thank you so much for your time. I'd like to know your view.

Have a great weekend! :)

Writing Challenge: Continue the Story

The morning is so gloomy, and he is in a deep sleep. He wakes up when the sun shines right above the head. Finding his wife and his daughter no more around him, he recalls everything happened all of a sudden yesterday. He closes his eyes for a few minutes more. In the distance, he vaguely sees a girl smiling..........

Causative Verbs and Exercises

Good morning, everyone! :)

Borrowing the quote from Adaline, "Knowledge has no value unless we use and share it", I would like to discuss about grammar.

In this session, I will discuss 'Causative Verb'. From my observation, it is one of the grammatical mistakes commonly made by learners here. Please just ask OR tell me if you have any doubts.

'Causative verbs' is used when one doesn't perform the action himself/herself, but someone else/something else does it. There are 5 causative verbs we would discuss: have, make, get, let, and help. Check this out! :))

Now, it's time to do the exercises. :)

Exercise 1: Complete the sentences below with the appropriate causative verbs!

  1. Mrs. Cindy was really tired. She _______ her daughter to massage her shoulders.
  2. The girl broke the relationship without any clear reason. It _______ the boy cry.
  3. I will never ________ you go alone. So, I will accompany you to the movie tonight.
  4. Hard Rock music doesn't _______ me sleep well. I would prefer to hear nothing.
  5. The motor machine was suddenly broken on the way home. Fortunately, there was a garage near the incident. I _______ the mechanic repair my motorbike.
  6. The printer doesn't work well. Please _______ it fixed! I believe you know the person who can do that.

Exercise 2: Identify a grammatical error in each sentence below and correct it!

  1. The kid says, "Dad, would you let me to paint the wall, please? I think it's fun".
  2. I told them I would not eat much. I finally got my brothers taking me on a trip.
  3. The Air Conditioner doesn't seem to work well. I'll call the technician and have it check.
  4. The manager had the secretary written the proposal.
  5. Don't make me waiting any longer! I'm afraid I would give my heart to someone else. LOL
  6. Thank you so much, my friend. You have helped me solved this problem.

Thank you so much for your time. Would you give it a try? OR Would you make your example sentence in the comment below? I'd be glad to read your any comments.

Have a great November! ^_^

A Fragile Heart

Heyy you! Dare to love someone??
Ohh, NO!! In this case, you'll be in DANGER.
Yeah, he's so HANDSOME.
He could be GOOD, SMART, or whatever...

You know you'll be in DANGER,
but why you keep going on??
I told you not to go to THE SEA.
You CAN'T SWIM well there.

You said you're ready for that?? O.K.

(day by day passes)

Are you happy now? I can see your smile,
I see you are in love each other.
But, what about next??
Have you ever thought about it??

Okay, I wish both of you will always be happy.

(months later)

Heyy, heyy, what's that WEEPING..?
You said you were ready for that.
You shouldn't be like this.
Remember your cheerfulness when you were without anyone.

Oh, dear..don't cry..
You're SINKING in the sea, but don't worry...
You'll move to side in time.

You could say you're ready, you'll be okay,
but you surely have a FRAGILE HEART.
No one will deny, it is HURTFUL.
This can only be done by LOVE.

Random thoughts with Geography Idioms. :))

People are often on cloud nine after digging deep to find an item on online shopping. You know why? Because they found the dirt cheap one at last. You'll be surprised to know that some rich people do that as well. They said, "we are down to earth". D

A down to earth person is apparently not like a fair-weather friend. Their being open and sensible make them be a good friend both in a field day or in a bad day. Problems could never go downhill when such friends were always around.

When I didn't know what to do, I would go with the flow. Many thoughts in mind sometimes made me hard even to hit the hay. That time, I would hit the road to have a walk. Usually, I went to any kinds of shop and bought unlisted items to buy. Oftentimes, it then made me not be able to keep my head above water. D

Sometimes, I don't know which way the wind blows. People tend to make a mountain out of a molehill. To me, the first thing to do with a problem is to get out of the woods. People over the hill may be expert in doing so.

It is not good to rain on someone's parade when they sing a song. It is also not a wise thing to call a person a stick in the mud just because they don't like going outside. It is great that a vendor can cook and pack food as quick as lighting. But if they got the counterfeit money, that would definitely be the tip of the iceberg. Do not take a rain check on this challenge anymore OR you will lose opportunity to boost your English writing skill. D D

Being under the weather in long period would make our life be up the creek. That's why I always say "stay healthy!". Let me know if I win by a landslide in this challenge. [24 idioms in order, looool] By the way, did you get the wind of the lost chatters?? I'd like to know about that. :))

Thank you so much for reading. Thanks Mishaikh for this challenge.

The Proofs

There was a man who worked in an office. He often came to work late, though it was still in tolerant limit. He also went home hurriedly once the working hour ended, at the last second. But oftentimes, he would come back to office after an hour to work overtime.

Everyone in the office was wondering what was wrong with that person. They investigated him. One found that he went to the hospital in the morning, so did the other find in the evening, after work. They discussed about the 'proofs' they saw. They came to a conclusion that the man had a severe disease that he couldn't tell them. Finally, all people in the office collected their money for donation to help him.

The day came, he was called by the manager. He was surprised at what manager told him. "We know that you had a severe disease, so that this is the money from the company and this one is from all people here". The man smiled widely and touched his forehead on which no flies disturbed. Then, he took a deep breath, "Sir, I neither have any certain illness, nor any severe disease." "So, how come you went to the hospital every morning and evening?", asked the manager. Finally, the man couldn't ignore saying the truth. "Honestly, there is an old person that I want to help in his critical condition. He is in coma and needs help, but he has no family."

Story by Onee

Most of us often tend to conclude information ourselves without asking people involved OR observing things in details OR for real. If we can hardly ask OR observe, why do we make conclusion?? The bottom line of this story is 'invalid information'.

What are your views about this?

Let's see another event: Ten people played a game. 8 of them were listening to music with headphones set on their ears. The first person told a short story to the second one. The second one should relate the story to the third one orally, and so on until the last person. The last person should tell the first person what was the story about. Do you think the story would be told precisely as the original one and in complete details?? This is another thing about information accuracy.

THANK YOU and HAVE A GREAT DAY! ^_^

Story I

In front of a minimarket.
A friend: Hi Onee!
Me: Oh,,,Hi......!!! [shaking hands and thinking so hard to whom I was talking]
A friend: How are you..??
Me: I'm good. [smiles] What about you?
A friend: I'm very well Onee.
Me: You ... look different. [I said slowly in doubt]
A friend: Ah, I'm the same like before. You look more beautiful. :p
Me: e..hehe... Thank you. I'm with my mom.
A friend: Hi Ma'am! [shaking hands].
......some more conversation
Me: I'm going to shop something here. You seem to go home.
A friend: Oh, yes! I am being waited. :D See you, Onee! [shaking hands and kissing cheeks]
Me: Okay, see you again! ^_^

The next day, I just knew who she was. I didn't even remember anything about her while chatting. LoL............. She was my class mate in Junior High School. A few months later, I saw her again and she told me that we used to ride on bike together when going to school. How could I forget that? :(((

Story II

In a bookstore, I was choosing books. I saw a man and he saw me, too, we were smiling. He approached me and greeted me. He was my junior in an extra-curricular activity in university. I left the activity, but he is still there.

A friend: Hi Onee! Long time..
Me: Ohh, hiii, brotheer! How are you?
A friend: I'm fine, sis. What about you? I hope you're fine.
Me: Sure, I'm good. Thank you. What are your activities now?
A friend: I'm a trainer and still active there now. By the way, here is our junior. [he came with his friend].
Me: Hii!! [shaking hands with junior]. Very good! [I gave him my thumbsup for being active]
.... some more conversation. Then, a moment before saying farewell ...
Me: Mmm wait....really sorry, you know I'm so forgetful. Would you tell me your name, please? [I tried to be honest :( ]
[His friend was laughing a little. His face was seemingly gloomy, but he is humorous]
Me: Seriously, I remember you (your face). But, [while holding my head] I can hardly remember the name now.
A friend: MNXPQ, sis.
Me: Ohhh, yeahhh, I remember it now. lol. [I repeat his name twice]. OK, Thank youu. Take care! Go on with your plan. :D

A friend: OK! See you. :)

A dialogue between old member (O) and new member (N)

O: Have you blogged on MyEC this month?

N: Why should I?

O: NO, you don't have to. But if your aim is learning English, you'll be in progress to be fluent in it.

N: I will try. But, I have only three days left.

O: You could try to join challenge, share your experience OR just your one line thought with a simple explanation.

N: Ohh! That's a good idea! Let's see if I can post a blog this month.

O: No need to worry. There is no compulsion in this matter. Honestly, you can blog anytime. That would be great if you post a blog in these three days, though.

N: It's fine. I'm thinking of one topic at the moment.

O: Wow! How quickly you've got an idea!

N: Thanks. By the way, I posted several photos three days ago. But I wonder why they haven't been approved yet.

O: Are you sure you have titled it properly?

N: What do you mean?

O: Have you ever checked the photo guideline?

N: No, I haven't.

O: The title must be in English and each photo must be titled differently. Photos from internet will not be approved as well.

N: Ohh, I see. Thank you.

O: Most welcome.

N: It seems you are an old member in MyEC. What have you learnt or got so far? Do you feel any progress?

O: Of course! I was not able to write even one paragraph before. I now can make a boring long blog and comment. [LoL] I have also learnt grammar more and I've got something new from every challenge.

N: Really?

O: Yeah. Just for you to know, by getting involved in blogging and participating discussions, you will also get more knowledge from all over the world and it would most probably be something new for you.

N: It sounds fun.

O: Definitely.

Good morning, everyone! :))

Well, well, the month of August will end soon, but we haven't joined any challenge, yet. Keep boosting your English skill! :))

What about grammar challenge? It's not difficult I guess. Everyone knows present perfect, doesn't it? But, learners are probably confused when to use it. We can use it when we talk about experience, change, or continuing situation. EnglishClub has explanation for that. You can also learn how to use 'for' and 'since' in present perfect. Please check this out! :)

In questions, present perfect is widely used. However there are some common questions that we can learn. This video would be useful for you.

In present perfect, we often use 'just', 'yet', and 'already'. Teacher Vicki has explained it in this video. :)

There are more if you want, but mmm..........you're probably too lazy to check those out OR you want simple example sentences. Okay! I've made this one for you, though not complete. :)) :D

Your task in this challenge is to make dialogue using present perfect. Make a blog with the same title with this blog. It's easy, right? There is no time limit in participating, and do not worry for the beginner, no body will laugh at anybody's mistakes. We teachers and students are learning together. :)

Here is MY ENTRY. :)

Thank you so much for spending your time reading this challenge and visiting MyEC. Great days are waiting for you. I'm looking forward to your participation. :)

Note: If anyone still finds mistakes in this blog OR has questions, please let me know. I would also try to correct your blog according to my level IF YOU WISH SO. Thank you once again. :)

~~~ Enjoy your beautiful day! ^_^ ~~~
