Hello all,

I decided to participate in Garima´s writing challenge. She started the story and it is up to us - "writers" - to complete it..

Here is her beginning of the story :

Carrie Allen took a deep breath and sat down on the couch in the drawing room next to Brad, twin brother. She knew their father going to give them a bad news. She glanced at Brad who shook his head. He appeared just as shocked as she was that their father had called them into the room. Their father sat in the chair across from them with a serious look in his face.She didn't want to hear what he would say next but knew she didn't have a choice. She was aware of the ticking the grandfather clock in the corner of the room as she waited for him to speak.

"Brad, Carrie, that isn't easy to say", Their father paused. "I am bankrupt"...................................

so let me add now my part of the story to finish it ;-)

All of a sudden somebody opened the door.

"Helloooo my darlings, I am soooo sorry for being late." said Mrs. Allen and added: "You wouldn't believe how tiring the shoping can be! By the way have you noticed my new awesome hairstyle?"

None of them was strong enough to interrupt her. Since Mrs. Allen was very talkative, without noticing anything suspecious she carried on: "Actually, I am furious!! The last boutique I wanted to buy new fashiobable blue dress there - you know how much i love blue color - so when I was paying, the shop assistant told me they couldn't accept my golden card!!!! She said, there was no money!! So I scolded her and left."

They all were staring at her with envious feeling - she still didn't know it.

Mr. Allen said : "Dear, sit down, I have just started my speech."

The atmosphere in the room was very tense. Mrs. Allen sat down and felt little bit confused. She was wondering why they all are giving her such strange faces.

"Well, let me again repeat my last sentence." Mr. Allen paused, took deep breath and announced : " My family, I am bankrupt."

Mrs. Allen didn't believe her ears. "Whaaaatatttt? This isn't good joke, my dear husband!!!"

Carrie interrupted shocked Mrs. Allen: "Mom, daddy isn't kidding, our life seems to be in ruins. Then she turned and with serious face continued: "As if I didn't tell you, dad, as if I didn't beg - pleaseee, stop going to Las Vegas every weekend but we all knew you became addicted to poker. We all overlooked it. My friends will leave me if I am just a poor girl, I can't imagine it at alll!!!!" said Carrie with accusative tone of voice..

Such day is the nightmare of all the celebrities. To lose money means as for their social life - to die. Those who are rich usually want more but that's life - easy come, easy go.. The Allen's family was popular because of their dad who was well-known director. The kids were spoiled and their mom got easily used to the luxurious life. Now they all will realize what it means to lose everything, they will find out how cruel life can be...

Mr. Allen is nervous like he has never been before but ready to come up with the only one solution. Solution how to save the family. His voice is not so strong as usual, his self confidence is gone, therefore he decided to continue with his speech:

"My beloved family ... do believe me such situation isn't anything enjoyable. I am very stressed, depressed, yesterday I was even thinking about the suicide but then ...then I realized I have you !!! I admit, I am fully responsible for the situation we have to face now!!"

Mrs. Allen's face was totally white like the wall behind her, she interrupted her husband, actually it was her bad habbit: "Dear, this is tragedy!!!! What are we going to do? You know I used to be a model when I was younger but now at the age of fifty.... I can't do that anymore!!! We are lost!!!" she couldn't control herself and started crying..

"My darling, stop crying I have one solution. I will tell u now but please, don't interrupt me." answered Mr.Allen.

"Well.... one of my friends, the director of famous reality show came to me with an interesting offer. He asked me if our family would take part in his show. We wouldn't compete there, just cameras would record us for one month. The way we live, the way we treat each other etc. Since we are very popular family, people will be interested in watching us - no doubt. If we agree we will earn enough money to cover all the debts and if it is among the most watched programmes, we can even earn some extra money."

Brad started laughing: "Dad, that's cool!!! Wooow, all people will be watching us!! I am so excited!! Count on me, I am IN."

Carrie was sceptical and not so fond of this idea as her brother: "Dad, I can't imagine this. My all privacy will be gone."

Mr. Allen expected such reaction and was ready to answer: "My Carrie, you are absolutely right. To get money back we have to sacrify something. In fact if we go for it we can literally say we sell our privacy for one month but as u all can see there isn't any other option. Do u agree with me?"

Mrs. Allen used her psychological abilities and tried to persuade Carrie in her own way: "My little princess, I think one month isn't such a long time. It might be interesting for you since you always dreamt of being actress. Take it like this. Now u have opportunity to try it."

Mr. Allen felt like he must get to know their responses immediately otherwise he would get mad soon. After few everlasting minutes of deep thinking and listening to the ticking clocks, he asked: "Are you in, my dear family?"

Carrie answered: "Dad, we are family, we should support each other so you can count on me too."

Mrs. Allen just added: "All for one, one for all!! The Allen's family will rock!!!"

Such reactions touched Mr. Allen's heart. He caught himself after many months giving a smile and he felt after long time happy. His family didn't disappoint him and he gave them promise that he would never touch any cards till his last breath.... 

Life without fun, laughter - it isn't simply colorful, enjoyable life. Sense of humour reflects what kind of personality is hidden deeply inside of us. I think people who are not so reserved, are capable of making fun  – such people can enjoy their life on the maximum.

Of course, it differs, not all of us have the same sense of humour, not all of us have the talent to tell the jokes so that all the  people around would burst into neverending laughter. On one hand sense of humour can make us popular among the friends or the colleagues, on the other hand if it is offensive sense of humour it can even destroy the friendship. According to the researches some people even prefer the sense of humour to appearance or smartness as for their demands they expect from the partner. Some people say that sense of humour goes with the intelligency but I think that it is individual. In my opinion if the joke is intelligent and people can´t get it because of their poor knowledge or slow way of thinking, in this case we can say here it goes with the intelligency but moreover with general knowledge or ability to understand.

Anyway, chatroom here in EC sort of forced me to start thinking if sense of humour differs due to the countries we live in. What do you think? As some of you know – I am from the Czech republic. I can say that here are many hilarious, funny people in my country and we have even special sense of humour. We are able to make fun of ourselves, we are able to make jokes in the situations others would cry or would be desperate. Our black sense of humour is really tough, not all can get it. It isnt common, I would say. For instance to me if somebody is able to make fun of themself – it shows that they are able to supress their ego, they are able to sacrify their dignity so that other ppl would have fun.

I am aware of one thing - the environment we were raised influenced our sense of humour, if the parents were joking with us when we were the kids, if our classmates were great teasers, it all influenced our personality.  

Of course we can´t judge the whole nation due to some individual people so in the end I still think it is 40:60 – individual people versus nationality as for the sense of humour. You can even look up on the internet some charts of the countries with the best sense of humour but I don´t know if it is good idea to generalize it like this.

As some of you could have noticed SEEKER isn´t among the finalists. Yesterday he informed me that he is busy in his personal life and he has really strong reason to withdraw, which caused he couldn´t have worked on the final tasks.That´s why I asked Dimi_Dimi to join the finalists since he was the third one due to the results. Hello everybody! This is Helen speaking!!

Honestly I was thinking of what I should talk about in this record so I want to first of all thank Lucy for organizing this contest. As for me it is very fun and interesting and she actually surprised me with the final tasks. So guys get ready to use your super creative minds to meet all the demands that Mr. and Mrs. EC require. From my side I will add: this is made for fun and I am going to take ultimate pleasure of challenge and be as creative as possible!

Okay… let’s get to the point. I am going to make long record and you guys will listen to me unless u get tired and mad: D anyways it would never stop me as I have much to say and now finally I got the opportunity!!! So get ready. Let’s go!

THE SECOND TASK:

Write a story about the picture which you can see bellow. What do you think that has happened there? 

Once little jimmy saw a big Hot air balloon in the central park, where his father took him for a walk. He saw people getting into it lighting the fire, hitting the air… He saw the big and colorful balloons high in the air, carrying happy people, who were laughing joyfully and enjoying the view. It seemed to jimmy something totally amazing… He cried for hours begging his father for one air tour on a balloon, but his father wouldn’t do it… Poor man was terrified of height!! Jimmy was hopeless and it was the moment when an amazing idea came into his head! He could make their house fly just like these balloons… all he had to do was TO HIT THE AIR!!! 5 year-old Jimmy started planning and preparing for the day when he would be able to bring his ideas into life. He knew that to hit the air he needs fire! Well he could steal a box of matches and he would sacrifice some old clothes and toys for the idea! HE wanted his house to fly like a balloon!!!!

One cloudy morning when his parents were off for work and jimmy was alone in his bedroom on the second floor. He took the box of matches hidden under his pillow, gathered all his clothes and toys and burnt it all! Fire started immediately and was spread all over the second floor in a minute…

Jimmy was sure when he counts to 5 the house will start flying! He closed his eyes and said “please dear God make it work, make it work, let the house fly” And it worked… The house was in the air with the burning second floor, driven away by wind and Jimmy now didn’t know what to feel, he was happy and scared, fire was huge and as he started feeling sick from the smoke he suddenlly realized; all he could hope and pray now was a HEAVY RAIN.

THE THIRD TASK:

1. Describe  your imagination about one perfect day.

A perfect day for me is:

To wake up and find myself in a house on a beach.  The house is empty, there is no one inside there only me… I get up and see one big bar where I can find my favorite red sweet wine. I get a glass of wine and go out to the seashore. The weather is perfect. A mild breeze is winding my hair while I walk along the beach wondering the beauty and peace. In some minutes HE joins me with a bowl of fruits that he knows I love so much and we enjoy our morning together, sitting on the sands and talking some pleasant nothings.

I would spend my day like this from dawn till the twilight and it would be perfect for me.

2. Could you please share with us in some funny, hilarious way your most emberrassing moment of your life?

There were so many silly moments in my life and most of the time I do my best to never remember them! But if u ask I will tell you one from schooldays. So I had this kind of a crazy classmate who was running after me in every break time, trying to catch me and somehow he was very rude. We were in 5^th standard at school and I never thought of complaining to my teacher so no one really knew that this guy was annoying me so much. So one of these terrible runaway games he managed to catch me and occasionally he hurt my arm! I was very much pissed and when I entered the classroom I shouted as loud as I could “YOU IDIOT!!! DON”T YOU EVER TALK TO ME NEITHER TOUCH ME!!!” and also called him several bad names I can’t write here :D but how shocked I was when I saw my teacher was sitting at the desk in the end of the classroom and on entering I didn’t notice her. I will never forget the way she looked up at me, under her big glasses she was almost saying “are you insane, what the hell is wrong with you”

3. Why do you spend your time in English Club?

I am here when I have free time to chat. Also I like posting Blogs and I feel like EC became some kinda habit for me. Don’t really know good or bad habit though. :p

It’s really fantastic to a part of this competition.
It’s my life best ever exp to be a member of this English Club.
EC has given me a beautiful platform to improve & explore my passion for English with an amazing bunch of cheerful buddies who are very conversant, intellectual, energetic.
So I am here for English and Fun
I like spending my time in EC Main chat discussing diff topics and chatting with people around the Globe. Knowing their countries and telling mine.
When I spend my time on EC I feel myself more confident, more talkative & more expressive in English in the real world.

THE SECOND TASK:

Write a story about the picture which you can see bellow. What do you think that has happened there? 

Last Sunday, I came out of my home to go for a walk. After a few steps, I was astonished to saw the house up on the road caught fire. I was terrified with shock , as I stood there watching the house ablaze and upper portion of the house burring so ghastly.

Then suddenly from anywhere I saw Superman came there on the wing he took out people from the house one by one and leave them down, after leaving the home vacant, and he flew away with two floors of the building preventing other houses to catch fire. Then I rubbed my eyes I saw there was no Superman but the house was flying with a little ladder. So shockingly and terrified it was. I found all the people of that house hence secured. I felt so horrified; it was dreadful to my eyes. I saw my real superman who came to rescue the people from the big danger. It was like an implausible truth to my eyes.

Then I woke up hearing my mom shouting voice Garima you getting late for office wake up please.

O my god it was nothing but a horrifying dream of mine.

THE THIRD TASK:

1. Describe  your imagination about one perfect day.

It was my yearning desire in my college days if I would get a chance to participate in Miss Delhi Pageant. How will I enjoy that will be my perfect day. A part of gala where all Delhi beauties present and opposing me for the final. Me standing with my individuality in all. Wearing a beautiful dress with so much sparkling confidence with a winning attitude. When I will ask to walk on the ramp and my ears dying to hear myself as title of fresh face or beautiful smile of the year.

2. Could you please share with us in some funny, hilarious way your most emberrassing moment of your life?

All my impressions with my dad cleaned out at once and I was so frightened with my dad angry eyes when he listened to my whispering voice and caught me talking with my BF late at night, the time was around 1.00 am he screamed after switching on the lights found me busy talking with a guy I could not had even a millisecond to hide my phone somewhere I cut down the line he shouted “Shame on you”.

3. Why do you spend your time in English Club?

EC has not only given me a beautiful platform to improve and explore my passion for English, but also a gateway to a bunch of cheerful people who are so friendly, energetic, & native speakers. I can read blogs and I can write as number of blogsI wish to write. When I spend my time on EC I feel myself more confident, more expressive in English in the real world. I believe I am improving in English while spending my time there daily.

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I am El Juego The Sheriff of EC Town alias Kai The Daydreamer. I hope you will get my words because I have damn bad speaking skill and Luzzi you killed me with that recording task because I dunno what to say. Anyway I am a member of this site for a four years.  I am from Turkey and I am a student at university. I like to play football and solve problems. Meeting with new members from different countries is fun for me. That is why I spend my time on the internet and
EC is one of that websites which make us meet. By the way I want to say good luck to all candidates whom name are Seeker, Garima and Helena and thank you Luzzi for competion. I'm over here. Thansk for listening.

THE SECOND TASK:

 Write a story about the picture which you can see bellow. What do you think that has happened there? 

Once upon a time there lived an ambitious young architect his life was perfect, yet he was not happy and the reason behind his sorrow was the loss of his parents when he was a little kid when their house burnt and he was the only one being rescued, that tragedy gave him death phobia all he thinks about is death, and all the time afraid of dying that he cant live a normal life like anyone else, all he thinks about is how to avoid death and make sure he is safe and that what happened with his parents won't happen with him, he finally came up with this crazy idea, to build a house in the air instead of building it on earth believing that he this way will make sure no one can reach him and nothing can harm him, since he was a genius architect it wasn't hard for him to make it happen! the plan was simple the house will be built on the ground once its door is closed it will be automatically lifted up in the air as far as possible up in space so he took all he needed and got the work done he entered his new house and closed its door watching his house rising up in the sky as if he was saying goodbye to everything and everyone else! there is noway anyone could reach him! it looked all perfect, he thought he can finally live his life happily, he never cared about anything but being safe, few days passed and everything was ok, one night he was upstairs making his dinner, he was making macaronis as he was too lazy to cook anything else and also it was the only thing he knows how to cook, he put it on the stove and he didn't notice that he accidently dropped his napkin on the stove while he was wiping a pot as he was in a hurry not to miss his favourite show on tv, he went down stairs to watch his favourite tv show, as he was sitting on the sofa all relaxed and enjoying his show, he totally forgot about his macaronis, in the meanwhile the macaronis were totally burnt but that's not what matters fire reached the napkin he dropped on the stove, and you can guess what happened next, our dude finally noticed what was going on upstairs when it was too late, as going upstairs he sees the smoke and fire coming out of the kitchen he couldn't take another step, went back down stairs thinking how could he survive this, he can't put out the fire by himself, he brought out his ladder to escape but it is not long enough, what else can he do? call 911? no one can reach him there, it will take forever before anyone could reach him? then he just gave up, sit there waiting for his death. such irony! the house he built to protect himself will be the reason of his death, and he realised late that there are things in this life we cant avoid we just have to accept them death was one of them, call it destiny, call it whatever you want to call it you can't escape from it no matter what you do,, so instead of worrying all the time, he wishes he lived his life like anyone else enjoying the moment and letting it be. 

THE THIRD TASK:

1. Describe  your imagination about one perfect day.

Wake up around 9 and see Adriana Lima when I open my eyes.
Helena Rizzo makes me breakfast and I have breakfast with Sarah Silverman while she tells me something.
I then run with Denisa Rosolová for 40 minutes. After running take a cool shower.
I then drive a Bugatti Veyron to participate in some sport of my choice with the guys. We go to a club, drink something , eat burgers, watch sports.
Then Lebron James messages me for playing basketball somewhere but I don't replay his message. A Limo picks me up.
I then go home and Thomas Keller makes me an amazing dinner.
I have dinner with Jim Cramer while we talk about investigations.
During the evening, I play football with Ronaldinho .
Then Bill Burr tries to make me laugh but it doesn't work and I slap his face and laugh.
I then go to bed and sleep while Inna sings for me.

2. Could you please share with us in some funny, hilarious way your most emberrassing moment of your life?

During the primary school everyday we, students, had to vow the student oath before starting the  classes. Sometimes teachers  manage the oath sometimes students. When I was in 4th grade, the supervisor of the school picked me to manage the oath. I went up  stairs and I took the microphone in my hand then I started  vowing the oath. There were nearly 700 students and suddenly I forgot the oath. You can't even guess what I felt at that time.I was red as a tomato.I was thinking "what the heck am I doing here".Of course I could not get the answer. Anyway I looked at the supervisor's face and he got it already. He took the microphone from my hand. I said" Sorry, teacher! I am sick today(I was lying)." and he said " OK go to your place" but he was like "what a student!", no doubt. While I was coming down the stairs all students were looking at me and some of them were laughing out loud. I was so popular as a retard for one week. After that day I never managed the oath.

3. Why do you spend your time in English Club?

Recently I spend lots of my time in EC but really difficult to say why I spend so much time here. EC is getting weird day by day. It may be one of the reasons. You know everyday new members join EC and old members join with new id. Talking with new members and catching with old ones is fun. I say new members "Hello I am the Sheriff of EC Town, is there a something wrong in Ec Streets?". At the end they get the truth of course. The thuth is I am just a simple member of EC X). Because some of them think I am moderator or admin or vip member. In addition I created a group which i named EC Hangouts. I guess it is also one of the reasons. Maybe talking with moderators about some bugs(problems that needs fixing) takes my time too. The most important thing I like is sending messages to J the boss. I have sent him 3 messages in EC and I got banned twice. I guess he is used to get messages from me X) Anyway I am a good member for a while and I like EC.

Hi EC member, I would like to present my speech, my short speech about my own idea “We are equal”.  Since we were born by our parents, God had decided our destiny, and everyone has different destinies. Yet, do you know that we were born as the champion and also we were born in an equal condition. Nobody is perfect, even when you were born as a handicap child, please think positively, that God has panned you a great future for your life, do not be a pessimistic person, your weakness is not your obstacle to do your bright dream. Your weakness is just a status quo, and your passion is the most important thing that you are needed. In vice versa, for you all, included me, that were born in a perfect condition, we must respect all people, do not think that we are the best people in this world. Remember! We are equal, we need each other, up the skype still has sky, and we can learn from padi’s philosophy that “ when padi has already to be harvested it will bow lower, and we can learn from it that if we have strengthens we must have low profile like padi.  there is a thing that can separated us, it is OUR VIRTUE which will be presented for GOD when we meet him. Thank you

A Hell House : A fiction story.

Once upon a time, there was a small family; they were Mr Alec, Mrs. Gwen and their daughter, Fulan. They were a rich family, although Fulan lived in great condition because she could get anything easily, she did not feel that she lived in happy condition. Her parents were so busy with their works, Mrs Gwen as an accountant and Mr Alec was a businessman, they were rare gathering together. Fulan was 7 years old and she would have her birthday 2 days later. Fulan asked to her nann, “Oh my beloved nann, to be honest, I am very sad today.” Her nann hugged her and asked, “Oh dear, why you feel sad?”. Fulan hugged tightly and said “Tomorrow, I have my birthday, will my parents remember it?”. Her nann tried to make her calm down, she smiled to Fulan, “ I believe they will remember that?, okay dear, lest sleep! Your parents will go back late.”
Because Fulan pretended her nann as her mother, she followed the nann’s instruction. They walked toward Fulan’s bed room, “Okay my sweet girl, close your eyes, I am here,” The nann smiled. Fulan tried to hide her sadness, she asked something, “Nann, could I beg a favor?” the nann asked “What is that my dear?”, “Could you tell me a short story before I sleep?, my mom never did it to me.”
Then the nann nodded and she told a story to Fulan, then the time run so fast, the sun shone brightly. As usual, before they did activities, they had breakfast together. Without saying anything, Fulan hoped that her parents remembered her birthday. But None, Fullan was sad, she just asked to her heart “MY HOUSE IS MY HELL” NOBODY CARE ME!”.

My perfect day is when i could meet my EC families, and my EC friends and we hang out in a beautiful place together. ahahaa

2. Could you please share with us in some funny, hilarious way your most emberrassing moment of your life?

Yes, when i sent a message to my lecturer about my thesis script " I always call it as "proposal" unfortunately, i sent it to mysterious person, and a man scolded to me because he thought that I would purpose his wife, because i used world "proposal", it was an embarrassing moment for me.

3. Why do you spend your time in English Club?

I stay on ec because i like do a great communication with many great people here, and i donot want leave my beloved families, my friends or may be my fans here hahaa, and i like staying here to improve my english.

Hello friends,

this is my latest poem so I would be glad if you read it and if you imagine yourself somehwere on the beach, near my fictive house :-)

House on the beach

Old wooden house on the beach is a witness of my various stories,

to spend the time there is like a magic, it wash away my all bad memories.

As if the sea was able to flood my soul with happiness and peace,

as if the sea was able to give me special moments I will one day miss.

When I wake up, I open the creaky door to go out, to smell salty air,

I feel as a part of this beach, meanwhile the wind is playing with my hair.

Watching the hightide gives me energy, sun just woke up, new day is here,

my feet dance slowly in the cold sand, my mind enjoys this atmosphere.

At such a moment I don´t need anybody, this place is my best friend,

I am sitting on veranda, sacrificing my wealth and wish - there is no end.

My father, dad, papa, no matter how I call him, he is simply one of the most important people in my life. He gave me life and I am happy and proud of being his daughter.

He is Capricorn according to the zodiac signs - typical introvert, who hides the emotions, shows them rarely but I can understand it because I am Capricorn too. There is some hidden bound between us. We are soulmates, we don´t need to talk so much but both feel the love and understanding from every gesture.

When I was little girl, dad used to take me for many trips. We went to the mountains, walked there, played together. Everytime it was for me amazing unforgettable experience to enjoy his company.

At the age of eight I went with the classmates and the teachers for a trip far away from my city. It was for the first time I was somewhere alone without my parents. Dad went with me to the railwaystation to say good-bye to me. I will never forget when he gave me the kiss before he left me there. Such moment was incredible! This kiss had special magic for me.

I would say that my father is strict, intelligent with awesome sense of humour and very talented. As a little girl I was scared when it was dad´s turn to do the homeworks with me but now looking back I can say that thanks to his strict attitude I was for example one of those children with the best handwriting in the class :-) As for his sense of humour it is really special chapter which I can hardly describe. His sense of humour is tough, he likes making collages by editing the pictures on the computer. So when I share the pictures with him, anytime he might surprise me with something funny he created to entertain us. I envy him his talent and I can say that people who are multi-talented like this have my big respect. He can draw very well, he can play guitar, banjo, mouthorgan, he can write the poems, he used to play tenis and ping-pong. In short I would like to add that he is vey kind, helpful and he can repair almost everything..

They say that daughters tend to search for the life partners due to the character of their fathers and I can only confirm it. I always wanted to have a strong, confident partner, whom I would be able to look up to with the big respect and admiration.

Dad used to work the whole life in the factory and it might have influenced his health. Last year he heard the worst diagnosis from the doctors. He got cancer. I can say that we all were maybe more shocked and stressed than he was. I admire him for his attitude, for his strong will to live, to fight with such dissease. He had to go through the chemotherapy, he took up some new hobbies, got strong support from the family and he won this battle. Of course, that nothing is certain as for the cancer but now I can say my dad is almost healthy and I hope that he will enjoy his life for a long time and will be able to watch his grandchildren growing up…

I am laying in beautiful flowering meadow, feeling relaxed and free,

hiding myself, my thoughts, my secrets in the shadow of the tree.

When I look up, I can see the leaves fluttering slowly in the breeze,

I wish I were one of them - to enjoy the movement with such ease.

I cought myself listening to the grass gently whispering in my ear,

if only the beauty of this amazing moment would never disappear.

Buzzy busy bees, all these talented birds singing their lovely melodies,

this sound makes me feel that all hatred died and everywhere is only peace.

During such magnificent moment I am just dreaming with closed eyes,

I am swimming in the ocean called flowering meadow, enjoying this paradise.

I wish them all the only one and the most important thing - to stay healthy !!! To me this is the worst and very desperate feeling to see sick child :-( No matter if it is my kid or not.

So if I had the only one wish that somebody would make true - I would love to see all the children healthy with the smile on their faces !!!

Since I have two little kids, somehow today I felt like writing a poem for the parents, so here it is..

One hectic day you simply stop yourself and you feel great,

that day you realize that being a parent is a gift - your faith.

Children can change your bad mood with one innocent smile,

children are the best critics, sincerity is their awesome style!

Every parent should be immensely proud of their little angel,

to protect them, to help them, not to let them in danger.

We should teach them how to love, to get it back one day,

to make their childhood memorably colorful not empty or grey.

In the end it is all up to us what kind of person we will raise,

let´s do our best, let´s face it all with the pride instead of the disgrace !!!

Hello all,

I want to say thank you to all the voters who decided to give their votes to the candidates, the voters who read all the tasks and who didn´t vote for their friends. This is the way I wanted it to be and one big thank you to all who understood this rule.

Anyway, I couldn´t count some votes. According to May´s story I didnt count the votes of the girl Rithz, I didn´t count the votes of the nickname Camelia who told me yesterday in the chatroom with the smile on face that she voted for her friends and I didnt count votes of the people who mentioned in their comments things like - I vote for him because he is the best EC DJ or I vote for her she is nice person. I hope that you all can understand it. I wanted you to vote due to your decissions you made afterwards you had read all the tasks.

Another one thing is that I can´t of course influence who came with the fake account and voted here. Even though I checked almost all the accounts I can say that there aren´t so many suspecious ones (note for AH_TK: even that one very suspecious account Vasilyi is real guy who talked to some ec members recently on Skype).

Unfortunatelly, I must announce here that we won´t get any prizes from EC. This all is just thanks to the effort of some members who complained to Tara and that´s why she can´t support it. What character of the people we come across here I can´t influence too.

THE FIRST TASK

Making the friends over internet

If I start with just making friends, so it is a natural tendency and so we are making friends wherever we are in life. And so in virtual life too.

I have most of my online friends on EC almost all active main room chatters. Very few on other network. Online friendship with strangers had only one reason for me that to share any thought without hesitation that what impact it will make on them. And it helped to get unbiased responses. It was also an urge to stay at a place that is completely disregarded of personal stuff of life. Talk with different people and know their views. The most amazing thing was all are here with true heart [main room chatters :D] with their kind of fun and facts.

It makes me feel cosmopolitan when I spend time with main room chatters. It is the most amusing and satisfying part of my virtual life.

I don’t want to compare real life friends with online. They all are unique at their level and I need both in different situations.

Well here are two friends I want to talk about how they made an impact in my life.

The first one is Mr. Shrikant Badwadgi , I met with him in an electronics engineers forum. We became friend on gtalk and he guided me to make my first robot. He guided me without any direct help and I guess it is best way just to give hints how to do rather than giving complete key. If I would not used the online way I would never get such guide.

The second one is met on FB though some friend of friend channel. He is the friend who was online and became real life friend also. He sent me request on FB and we became good friends since we both belong to same work field and his way to talk was really decent. Once I went to Mysore that was a completely new city for me and it was first when I was alone on a trip for an examination. I asked on FB if someone can help me out and he offered help even he belonged to a nearby city Banglore. He helped me to get a safe stay place and examination centre and we roam around the Mysore city it was truly amazing.

Well If I remember the plan to meet an EC friend. Diggy (Vicky Cheng) and I, made plan to meet. She tried to come India attend a social event Jagriti Yatra and I was hoping that we will spend the time on that journey but it never came true.  No doubt it will be memorable if I could meet with any of my EC friend.

To conclude I again want to say that the main room friends are making my life cosmopolitan and they are very satisfying part of my virtual life or say virtual family.

THE SECOND TASK

1. What do you find simply the best about yourself?

I just want to live life in any condition and that is the best thing in me. No matter what will be next or what was the past I will live it in the best way.

2. What would you miss the most if you should live on the desert island?

The first thing came in mind was water. But I will use a little knowledge I got by watching Man VS Wild :D to get some potable water, thank you Bear Grylls I am alive due to you :D so I will miss Bear Grylls next :D oops thanks to god also that I watched Discovery.

3. What do you hate and why?

I hate negativity.  What kind of explanation I should give it is very implicit. I hate any effort which demoralizes anyone for their goals because I had and I have a lot of such sources of negativity around me. Nothing else I have to hate in my life. 

4. Do you consider yourself realist or dreamer?

I am a realist dreamer. I am trying to realize my dreams into real life. I am taking my decisions and trying to take my dreams on the ground of reality. I am from a conventional muslim family where girls get married in age of 14 with very minor education and so it would happen to me if I did not took actions for my dreams. And here I am still on the way to achieve my goals, on my own conditions and with my own dreams in my eyes.

5. What is your biggest fear?

Biggest fear is really silly it is from failure. I have a worst condition in my mind if I would be back to that life which I kicked out years ago. I knew it will never come but if I will be failed I will be on the path towards that condition and it fears me.

6. What is the worst negative side of you?

It is my social network. I am very bad in keeping contacts. I talks after years when they make a call :D Sometimes I miss their calls and I think I will talk in evening but I forget. I am aloof in real life.

7. If we could turn the time, what would you change in your life?

Nothing. I am satisfied with the past and it was alright I enjoyed it mmmm but still if you want an answer I want to change Modi Sarkar :D

8. What does money mean to you?

Money is tool to exchange resources or skills. I learned one thing from my job that it is not I have to earn and save a lot I have to keep a right flow of money just, have to spend it in such a direction that flow will be increased towards me ;) when I learned to earn I got a different confidence also so money is something that bring confidence when you earn it by yourself and one very important thing it is not more than your close persons they will be with me even if I have money or will not.  

9. Let´s suppose we can make one of your wishes come true – which one would it be?

It will be learn to fly. I would like to have a pilot course, not professional but personal. 

10. Why should people vote for you?

I don’t know they have their own opinion for me that is in their mind before this competition so they can vote me if they like me and my attitude or they can vote me if they don’t like my attitude, they can vote me for any reason good or bad or neutral. I don’t want to do any canvassing to get vote to win let it be according to their own opinion about me. Most of chatters and I guess voters know me, and few know me trough a few blog and few discussions and remaining if they don’t know me how can their vote is useful it will be just in a whim if they voted to me?

Making the friends over the internet.

Making friends over the internet became a common thing nowadays. Well as for me, I see no problem in coming online and having fun in chatroom, chatting with interesting people all over the world, getting socialized and seeing the world from the point of views of totally strange people. I should say it is rather exciting and interesting, for where else you can find such great veriety of people from different countries, with different cultures and lifestyles, rather then in internet!! Sometimes it gives us very positive feelingns the other times we feel frustreated with those tstrangers from the other side of pc screen, however even if its virtual, stll its life and we cant have everyone agree with us and love us.
You come to this virtual world with a nickname and you are sure no one knows you and indeed it gives some of us the feeling of security, and at times makes us act the way we wouldnt act in real. For this reason I should say that one can never know who the virtual friend in reality is. Here I could also state that the advantage of depersonalization gives us the opportunity to show ourselves in the best light, that’s why sometimes we prefer to stay virtual rather than get real. So I could even say that having friends over internet is never of 100% assurance.
I have seen such agreat veriety of people over the internet but only few of them became really great friends of mine and I don’t see them as virtual friends, they are real and very dear to me. The love, trust and respect I feel to those friends isn’t virtual it is real and it is warming my heart and gives a lot positive feelings. I know that I can go to them for a piece of advice or for support or just have great fun with them. However I do miss the meeting in person, a hangout together, which I am sure, would be absolutely awesome.

This best friend of mine who is as crazy as I am and our funny-crazy chats that always are able to make my sadness or depression fade away… I will never call it virtual and I will never wish to lose it! I found my best friend here on EC and I am very happy and thankful for that! A soulmate who understands me and shows great care, and the love and care that exists in my heart for her is very worthwile. I shoud say I was lucky to meet her and became friends from the first sight and forever ;)

But this doesn’t mean I have never met any fake faces over the internet. I had the bad luck to meet some people who later on proved to be the worst friends and sometimes even enemies. When you go deep into the virtual friendship it becomes a part of you life and you risk to be hurt if not physically then at least morraly and emotionally. However it is always possible to leave these fake people behind and move on with the best ones you have next to you.

If you ask my opinion about interent friends I will say it’s a good thing but I will suggest you guys not to forget about the reality, which is may be not so perfect and awesome like (at times the fake) viruality still in the end when you turn off your PC, reality is where you are.

The best about myself is my positiveness. I find it very helpful for a lifetime.

I do believe that living on a desert island I would miss advanced technologies and people

 I hate winter. Coz its cold and I hate when it’s cold. Its depressive

I will say it like this I am a heavy dreamer but a light speeper! I love to dream but my dreams are not too ambrosial.

My biggest fear is death of any loved person. I doubt if I can get over it!

I trust people easily. That hurts me and makes me feel insecure

 I would remove the day in which I met somebody( won’t go into details :p )

 Money is freedom for me! Unless u become its slave :p

Making Friends over the Internet

Making Friends on the Internet is an uncertain obsession. One need to be extra watchful while sharing his or her personal information.
My thought is we should not be afraid about making online friends but we have to be vigilant about how the person is behaving. Most of the people do flirting and keep on asking you to send your photos, want you to share your number.
There is a big gap in what they demonstrate you about themselves in writing, what they are actually in real world. We only have their writings to judge them about their humor, their intellect, their understanding, their trustworthiness. But when we met people face to face we have plenty of things to judge through their facial expressions, their gestures, their way of dressing, their mind-set.

We all like pleasant, original, funny, and pretty wonderful people on the Web which are hard to find but. I've learned to be cautious, sure. If someone wanted my phone number, etc, I wouldn't give it to them.

There are a whole bunch of really nice people on English Club Site they are using kind words on daily basis. There is also a great amount of really sick, perverted people out there, for which you will need to exercise prudence and you have to keep on ignoring them / block them/ cut them off.
It’s sometimes foolish to trust that people on the internet are who they say they are, but may be they r not.

Honestly, I think its self-flattery for someone to think every person on the internet wants to talk them. However, there is a big gap between real life people and internet folk.

Online Friendship has its own advantages and disadvantages it’s all depend on us how we are dealing with.

I am very open minded person capable of articulating my thoughts. I consider myself to be flexible, down to earth and highly motivated to pursue my goals in life.

2. What would you miss the most if you should live on the desert island?
I would miss the Pollution while staying at Desert Island

I am having procrastination approach towards few things which I don’t like doing for example, waking up very early in morning, ironing clothes etc… because I usually exhausted after whole day work, and hectic time schedule.

4. Do you consider yourself realist or dreamer ?
Dreams are the birthplace of great realities. I consider myself as a dreamer , who likes to live in imaginative thoughts and possesses the passion to convert my dreams into reality

5. What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is -Will I able to accomplish all my responsibilities of becoming a good Mother, good Wife.

6. What is the worst negative side of you?
Sometime I easily take blame on myself to calm the situation

7. If we could turn the time, what would you change in your life?
It’s always our present that determines our future. I would not like to change anything because I do believe in living in present; we get experience from our past failures which we can employ in our present.

We need it. It’s the key to most of the comforts in life
We can use it either in good and bad way, but at the same time Money has never made man happy, the more he has, the more he look for it.

9. Let´s suppose we can make one of your wishes come true – which one would it be?
I want to become a Millionaire to make my dream of wanderlust come true.
Then I will go for world tour. I will enjoy my love for exploring new places, knowing different cultures and different languages and different religions.

THE FIRST TASK

Making  friends  via  the  internet  is  becoming more and more popular. It’s been nine months since I’ve joined EC and now I can share some thoughts about it.

Making friends on the net seems so easy at first. After a little chat you send or get a friend request. Quite often you get requests from people you’ve never seen or spoken to. A click – and you’ve got a friend! The real world lacks this easiness. This aspect of Internet communication is a great benefit for shy people or those who can’t find friends in real world. I am sure that lists of virtual friends are much longer than their real counterparts. However,  I must confess that I am fastidious – my friends’ list equals the list of pending requests.

When people come into this virtual world, they acquire a new identity. They put a profile picture that shows the image they wish to create, give only that information about themselves that they think  necessary for others to know. And there is no other way to learn anything about your Internet acquaintances!  Even if they put a real name and a real picture of themselves, they leave a lot behind the screen.  In messaging in the net you don’t see the changing face expressions and don’t hear the intonation. So, you are what you say and what other person imagines you to be. It is so tempting to become someone else! That is the reason why there are so many fake personalities and trolls. You must be ready to be attacked at any minute. Luckily, the Almighty Ignore Button is always at your service!

I came to EC I with my real picture and was immediately attacked by some weird people. As I am not a fighter by nature, I quickly hid myself behind this mask. And I am glad that I did it. It makes me less vulnerable . I’m often asked if it is me in this picture. Of course, not.  I’ve chosen this picture because it reminded me of one woman that I knew. She looked exactly like my profile picture but she charmed me with her conversation .  My first week on EC taught me to be cautious.

All these minor drawbacks and only make communicating on the net more  exciting. Where else could I meet so many interesting and intelligent people from all over the world?  I learn from my friends here about their countries, their ways of living and their views on life. It helps me to improve my English, to understand their culture and, though it may seem strange, to understand myself better.

Living in different countries can’t prevent from becoming friends but is a great obstacle if you wish to meet in real. I’m so curious to see the places and countries where my friends live. I wish I could spend some time in real with my friends and do something together with them, for example, go fishing or watch a movie. A real handshake would be great!

There are two things that are the best about me –first,  I think I am an understanding person and second, I look gorgeous!

2. What would you miss the most if you should live on the desert island?

If I happened to be on a desert island I would miss People, see communicating with my friends and relations most of all. I guess I would start talking to trees.

3. What do you hate and why?

I really hate to see little kids being maltreated, or even to hear about it makes me feel upset.

4. Do you consider yourself realist or dreamer?

I consider myself a realist, though I can be naïve at times.

5. What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is that something drastic can happen-like war or a comet will fall on our Earth. I want to live a peaceful life.

6. What is the worst negative side of you?

My worst habit is postponing everything till the last moment. I am simply lazy!

Making friends over the internet

On the whole,I think it is not possible.But to my mind it can  be possible if both live in the same country.In  my opinion ,if we want a good,long-lasting friendship,we should see each other's faces,talk to each other.And it makes friendship better.If we live in a different countries,how can we see each other live? But If we live in the same country,things can go differently.Then we can meet and spend time together.

In common,u can write to ur friends from abroad,like here in the main chat.But I dont think this makes a real friendship.But in real life our friends can be with us in our bad time when we need them as well as in good times.But in a virtual friendship i cant exist.

So I dont reckon making friends over the internet is possible like in real life.We can only make close acquaintance.

I wanna add something.May God bless all our friends.We are so lucky that they are in our lives!

virtual or real that's not what defines friendship!

well i've known people from real and from the internet, to me real friendship was never about distance,well i remember the first time i involved myself in this virtual world as it's called, i met lot of people i even considered someone my best friend for so long and one day everything was gone, it was ok i could've expected that, but what i didn't expect is being stalked by that person's girlfriend that i never knew existed, all the time receiving bad messages from her and requests with fake accounts, as i ignore she goes further to the point that she added my sister and my best friends trying to turn them against me, i was so angry as i couldn't even explain this to my friends, i myself didn't now what was going on! she was low with everything she did but honestly i wouldn't blame her, she was playing but he was the one giving her the winning cards, i was disappointed as i saw her revealing my secrets that were supposed to be safe between two friends that trust each other, what bothered me the most was his reaction(i mean that person i thought was my best friend)
at first i thought it was some kinda joke as i couldn't find an excuse for all that, im not going to give details as that situation last for so long! anyway in short i've trusted the wrong person, there are different kinds of people, those that can't rise unless they bring others down, there are also the perverts, the freaks, the psychos :D I've personally met all of these, however from the internet i gained great friends one is my friend for four years now my close friend,we know a lot about each other and we're there for each other, and just recently i met an amazing friend that i feel so lucky to have! you know yourself! :D anyway im not going to say i've learned not to trust anyone and people are trustless and bla bla, this is so not me i never let anyone change who i am or change my view to anything, i believe people are not the same there is good and bad everywhere, and im still meeting new people, if im to describe myself i'd say im the reckless type, im always ready for more, i will fall and then stand up i will experience happiness and sadness, i believe a life wouldn't be balanced unless it has its good moments and bad ones! pain is not what defines us! what a life is for if you are always cautious? what makes life interesting is never knowing what will happen, accepting everything and always moving on! anyway i know my great friends will be reading this my new and old ones thank you guys for being a part of my life, im so thankful i met you all, and i'd love to meet you all someday in real! love you guys!

THE FIRST TASK

Human is a social animal. He has a natural tendency to be in a community. So he likes to be in company of friends. Making friends is an art and any art require practice. Making friends require good communication skills and a way of expressing yourself to others. The number of friends a person can have depends on his personality. For example, an extrovert tend to have more friends than an introvert cause they seem more friendly to people. Introverts tend to think more & talk less, they don't like company of others, they prefer to stay alone, so they have less friends. 

Making new online friends:

Internet has changed dramatically the way how we make friends. Making friends has become very easy these days. There are many sites for making friends out of which Facebook is the most popular today.Beside facebook there are twitter, linkedln, google+, yahoo, gmail etc.

 Facebook is indented to make friends that you already know in real & it's policy says there should be one profile for each person. Facebook is used to stay in touch with our real friends even when we are 1000 km apart. So, Facebook friends are no more differ than real friends. Of course you can randomly add anyone on Facebook but that would be ridiculous and of no use, friends aren't made by random adding, right..?

So, when it comes to make new friends on internet ( by 'new' i mean stranger i.e. u haven't seen that person in real before adding him as a friend ), we have to resort to some other sites like joining an online community with people of common interest.

Why we tend to make the friends over the internet :
This question is a tricky one. Each person has his own reasons to do this, but the most common reasons are :-

1. All of us want to express themselves. but we can't do this to our real friends cause fear of causing somebody hurt, but with online friends, we can express ourselves fully as they don't know anything about us.

2. All of us are a little bit lonely from inside, we do many things to fill that emptiness, Making online friends is one of those many things.

3. Internet provides an opportunity of being anonymous is very helpful for an introverted person. When you give someone a mask to hide himself , he can tell the truth about you in front of yourself.

4. To achieve some common goal like learning languages etc.

5. To be in the company of like minded people, people who share common interest with us

6. To know about other cultures, religion etc. & to expand our knowledge

These were good reasons, some people may have their own selfish reasons too. For example :-

1. They want to be popular, so they think more the number of friends they have, more popularity they will get.

2. Some are desperate, they make friends to find their lovers. They see the face of their girlfriend/boyfriend in every girl/boy.

3. We can chat online at anytime, anywhere and  in any physical condition ( like in bathroom) these facility aren't there with real friends. 

4. We can chat with lot of people online...but in reality we have to see the same faces again & again (only applicable to those people who get bored easily)

This list is not exhaustive. There can be much more reasons which i don't know or not able to recollect at this time.  

My experience :
My experience is very little in this area. I made my facebook account 4 years ago, before this i knew nothing about internet & all topics related to that. But i started to spend time on it i got addicted to it and i had a hard time in getting rid of this addiction. In Facebook, 95 % of my friends are real (again real means i have personally met them at least once ) 

I started to add unknown people as friends on chess.com 2 years ago, but i played only chess with them, no chatting & talking at all, so they can't be called as friends.

Then recently about 2 months ago, I came here on EC and made friends. Here i have chatted a lot on various topics and realized that indeed chatting is fun. I got addicted to this site too along with chess.com. I got so much involved in this club that I  made a skype group along with my friend (stranger in the night) and we have lot of fun there too. Now we have some 20 people in that group, and most of them are very nice. 

 Till now, i haven't any bad experience here in EC , initially i had some arguments with some people but i think these are normal & can be considered as a part of discussion.

Precautions :
As most of our online friends are anonymous, there are chances of identity theft etc. Some people can be spying on you. Some may even can hurt you.

But if you do care of all these things , you won't be able to do anything.

You have to prepare your mind strong enough to deal all this.

One precaution that you must take is that, if you are planning to meet your online friend in real, don't go alone, always be with at least one mutual friend. And also arrange your meeting at some public place, not at a lonely place as there are cases of murder attempts by pedophiles using online friendship.

And think twice before giving your personal details like bank account,home address, your password etc.

But for a normal person,these cases have very less probability to occur (1 in a million), even the road accidents have much more probability than this. So i think you shouldn't care about this too much unless you are some famous celebrity.

Finally i would like to conclude this by following sayings, 

'' A friend in need is a friend indeed, Doesn't matter whether he/she is online or real"

" It's better to have one good enemy than having 100 bad friends."

(Note :- Although I have generalized my views by using words like 'all' & 'we' , I claim with best of my knowledge that these are my personal views & opinion . Wasting time....cause time is life. It's more valuable than money. Money can be earned but time can't be. We can only manage it.

A Dreamer...but i do have realistic dreams. Sometimes so realistic that they don't let me sleep.

5. What is your biggest fear?

Fear of losing my loved ones, i can't imagine myself without them

6. What is the worst negative side of you?

I am very bad at selection. It's really very hard for me to select one over another, which had very serious consequences in my life.

7. If we could turn the time, what would you change in your life?

Nothing..!! because of following 2 reasons:-

         1. I am happy & satisfied with my present state. Every event of my past have some contribution in making this beautiful present.

        2. Changing anything is against nature & I am a true admirer of nature.

8. What does money mean to you?

Money is a medium to get materialistic pleasure but real pleasure comes from our heart & state of health. Money is for us , we are not for money. I have a huge sympathy for all those who have ruined their life just for getting more money but couldn't use that for making their life better.

9. Let´s suppose we can make one of your wishes come true – which one would it be?

I wanna go to outer space & experience how it's to be like without influence of earth's gravity. Also i wanna our earth from space. cause from there It's a whole single entity without any political boundaries.

To be honest, I don't know. I am just expressing myself, if anybody like it can vote for me. By the way, voters should know themselves why they are voting for somebody.

          World with this new technology became as a little village, specially if we are using social networks such as: Skype ,Facebook..., connecting and making friends from all the world, all what you have to do is creating account it can be fun and even it can be dangerous in same time because in my opinion I think that making friends through internet has advantages and disadvantages.

          I have been able to make new friends since I was 18. I also am able to stay in contact with friends who have moved far away or for example my cousins are far about 700km that’s make communication much easier in the net, besides if you want to learn language  you can choose  a good partner has good level to facilitate communication and improving talking,They can to be any age, race, sex, size,  specially you cant be in the same room which is especially good in the case of smelly feet –iam kidding-

         Another thing that happened to me  is I received and exchange  knowledge and appreciation of the different cultures around the world, of course not everything but I got ideas about that atleast

         However , even internet  has good things we should alwyse keep in minds that there are risks in such friendship because You don't really know for sure they are who they say they are, How can you trust a person that you know only his/her name and who knows if that fake too specialy in English club or other chat site  are a lot. 
         As an ending for me internet friends are not better than the friends of real world Because  Good friends are wonderful. They're there to support you and to help you. They make you laugh and feel good or lucky that you have them  but the virtual ones You can't be close to them physically , you can't hug/hold hands etc You can't go out for a drink, swim, pub crawl, game and there is always a chance you are talking to your local x Murderer.

This is a statement that will be appeared by someone if we spent our time in front of our laptop “what are you doing?” and when we said “ I am online”, may be they will give their judgement that we are like a lazy person who spends our times in unclear world such as internet world.

Yet for me, it is just a rumour for many people who have narrow perception about internet. I want to say “they are unwise people” so I want to change their mind-set about it. Yeah many people know me that I am like an online boy, because I spent many times in online activities. I believed and it is my hypothesis that they will have perception that “ I am like a lazy boy, and my life is depending on the virtual world(internet).

Okay, to be honest, I will get bored easily, if I am not online, but you must know that I am online just for useless activates, if you have mind-set like that “100% you are wrong”. Since I joined EC, and I have spent my times here, I felt that I got positive effects here.

Here on EC : I have done many positive activities and they are my positive virtual life :\

- I love writing ( since 8 months ago till now, I had written about 278 blogs, they were my series stories, children stories, poems, articles and anything) I am really proud them, although in many times I did many mistakes in grammar, yet I am glad, they are many members who care me, they corrected my mistakes, such as Noas, Anele, WMW, and others.

- On EC, I found my hobby “ I like writing poems”

- On EC I learnt how we keep our reliationship with others, how we respect with others.

- On EC,I had found my virtual families, they supported me, thank you all my families here.

- I started realized my dreams, as like as an article in my blog before that I had realized one of my big dream to meet native or foreigners. And from EC, I had realized it.

- And there are many my positives activities here, I do not want to make you bored, if I must tell them all.

 THE FIRST TASK

When I joined EC, I started to write blogs and chat in the chat room. In the chat room I met with different friendly, energetic, intelligent and cooperative persons. Some of them had bad attitudes but they were in negligible quantity. I spent a lot of time with so many nice members and most of them are still my friends. Some members liked me a lot and I too liked them so much and I would call them my close friends of EC.
Now they are my online friends. I miss them, when they are not online. I feel sad, when they are not in a good mood and I live their happy moments too. They are just like my real friends. I enjoy my life with my real friends; I do the same with my online friends too.
In the chat room, I met with some member who were (and are) so practical about online friendship. They spend time with other chatters and forget them when they are not online. I learned from these members that I need to be practical when I am dealing with online friends.
On the basis of my experience in the chat room, I can say that online friends cannot be compared with real friends. Online friends are with us virtually while real friends are present practically before us. Sometimes a real friend or relative can be an online friend too when he is far from us for whatever reasons and an online friend can be real if we can meet with him in real life.
Some cautions are necessary when you are dealing with online members. Some boys chat with a girl name and some girls chat with a boy name. Never share your personal details to anyone so soon. Being over- emotional can be harmful.

The best thing about me is compassion. I feel other’s grief easily and I enjoy other happiness too. I love to share.

THE FIRST TASK

Making friends on the internet has never been a good experience for me uptill now the reason being the anonymity of the friend u are talking to ... and the distance ofcourse, and the curiosity too, and the unavailability sometimes , and the limitations. oh i forgot to mention the money ( either u pay your internet bill's or else you are gonna lose ur friends )

well, He that hath a full purse never wanted a friend but it seems the internet users have spent all their money on paying internet bill.
i believe in friends of real life because only your real friends will tell you when your face is dirty.
The internet has made the friendship like ; Any friend of someone is a friend of mine. How many friends do u have in your friend's list ? OMG 2174 

I don't find more words to write, simply

Best about myself ...hmmm... ( thinking ) ( thinking hard ) my sense of smell, i surmise

on a desert island i will miss the " SAND " the most.

i hate answering questions , because most of the times i don't know the answers.

would u define 'dreamer' if this means the one who dreams a lot then i am a dreamer for sure because i sleep a lot.

the worst negative side of me is my optimism.

 if i lose this competition, i am gonna go back to the day when i said " I am in" and i am gonna change the words to " i don't wanna compete, i am out "

 "Making friends over the internet "

we are in the Era of 21st century where social networking became so popular with the invent of technological aspects by which we are sorrounded by;
internet is the most busiest place but mostly floodly with chat rooms and the members if we talk specifically ;alternatively we can say the world of internet is no more less than our imagin-
-ations which we sometimes want to become true .Life is Busy thereby causing boredom sometimes- when we are sick of handling the same routine-including talking to same (knowing the same person)
again and again ;Lonelyness keeps some people attached to social networks finding new friends due to certain reason :including poverty.,frank aspects;business; surveys ; fun ;education and much more .....
if we think then we held by lots of errors in our lives we are unable to work out also -so better taking advices with friends unknown to you cuz known will surely give you advice but we know there exist some breeds of extraordinary talents and experience in that specifics and keep the hell lot of problems on one side even.
biologically if we speak -even the single cell felt alone and combined with the unknown to form a living organism :D
" Internet friends " can sometime be better than the ones we make friendship with in our real lives : it depends on your thinking if you are unable to get the qualities and unable to find someone
understandable same as you- you opt to take less advices from him/her .in other words you work out to be Rational but sometimes you feel better in adjusting with the opposites too .
but the problem is not so easy to solve cuz you don't have experience with them in the past so we don't know their mindset and intentions ! but as i told we are Rational and we can surely differentiate
between right and wrong if we ask to ourselves in person.
its like "you wanting to enjoy their company or not "!

We even come across lots of people over internet who try to take advantage of the situations : First knowning them and then playing tricks on them ,so in this case we have the disadvantage too : so we need to choose the friends wisely with open minds : its like " we have a coin and having 2 sides and sometimes destiny plays roles . Every person on the earth has some positves and some negatives but we always try to be on the primary side :)
sorry to say " we are attracted towards false easily and they tend to attract faster "
yeaaa some friends on internet are worth " and we hopely like to meet them in real life too :)
but i tell you its never easy cuz you haven't met them before ,situations in the real life are far more different from this fake world "
social network is just the part of life and not the whole open frank life " we need to understand this ".
Well social network has fullfilled lots of mine expectation to talk and know about different countries and their culture and lifestyle thereby making me more sound in knowledge with great friends .
Actually we can know all through different sites too but that is hell boring phenomenon like mugging it up :D but i can get it over here all that in a friendly and
socialable way moreover with talking live people and lots of fun and enjoyment in between :)
Social network has turned globally the world into "social village ".
well what else i can say i had enough of the material i hope so you have fully understood " what social network brought changes to our lifestyle " .

i consider myself a dreamer where i think that we are living in some kind of illusion and will be knowingly knowing the truths after our death and we are here for some purpose .

i am feared of evil spirits and bad qualities to those i always want to stay away.

my worst negative side is sometimes i become too emotional and soft hearted with people :)

i would like to change My place of birth cuz i always dreamt of living abroad :)

money means much to me though it can't be used to buy happiness .....but happy moments are the output of money today .

Today in this blog I will publish the tasks for the candidates they will have to go through. I would like to repeat  that the candidates have  three days to send me the message  with their works. The candidates I won´t recieve anything from them till Wednesday 21th May 23:59pm GMT, will be simply disqualified.

I would like to mention again that you should play fair. No cheating, try to answer the questions sincerely, write the essay in the most interesting way you can. This is just my last recommendation.

So, enough of talks, here we go!!

T H E    F I R S T    T A S K 

The first task I promised, was to write an essay on the specific topic. Do believe me that it wasn´t easy for me at all to find some suitable topic where the voters could see how the candidates think and from which would be clear what is the candidates attitude towards other people. Of course, I am sure that some people might hate me for this topic but I hope there will be at least a group of the people who will like it.

In the end I decided to choose this topic : 

Making the friends over the internet.

Here are some supportive lines, which might help you, if you would feel little bit confused.

-         Try to bring your life experience into this topic

-         Tell us if internet friends are better than the friends from the real world you are surrounded by

-         Why we tend to make the friends over the internet

-         Troubles like – misusing identity, anonymous people playing with other people, mistrust, distance

-         If you plan to meet such friends and if you think it will be worth it.

More I won´t help you, I think it is enough :-D Of course, these are just the hints, you can write what you want no matter what I mentioned here, just follow the topic. I won´t give you any limit as for the words. You can write three sentences or three pages but just remember that ten pages might find the voters really boring  :D

Hello all the candidates and the voters,

it is high time to come up with the rules and with the date we will start our competition Ms and Mr. EC 2014.  

Firstly, I want to say something very important - this competition is not so much about the popularity but about the character, so plz remember it all !!!

We already have some candidates, which you can check here: List of the candidates but still this list is incomplete. So if you find this competition interesting and want to participate, you have the chance to apply till Sunday 18th May 2014 23:59pm GMT.  

We will start on :

 MONDAY  19th May 2014 at 00:01am GMT

There will be posted the blog with the tasks for our candidates.  I will ask them to write essay on specific topic, they will have to answer some questions to show their character plus in main of the chatroom they can show themselves in the "best light". Since Monday 19th 2014 the candidates have THREE DAYS to send me a message into my inbox containing their masterpieces, which means there is deadline - Wednesday 21th May 2014 at 23:59pm GMT.

For these candidates who don´t have me among the friends, plz add me, so that you could send me the message.

During  Thursday 22th May 2014 I will publish via my blog candidate´s works and you all - voters - can start voting by the comments you will add there. We vote for TWO PEOPLE, who should WIN - a boy and a girl. It means that everybody should realize they will vote for one girl and one boy. I just don´t want to discriminate anybody because of the gender.

On Sunday May 25th 2014 at 23:59pm the first round of the competition Ms and MR. EC 2014 will be over, which means that all the comments that will appear afterwards will be considered not valid.

As for the voting there is another one important thing which should be mentioned:

The candidates can´t vote.

I would like to ask all the candidates not to cheat, not to ask the friends to write something instead of them because honestly - would you be happy if you win like this? I think that such victory is no victory. So plz keep it on your mind.

Many people asked me about the prize for the winners. For sure it will be the certificate with the surprise I will send to the winnners, plus I will ask our admin Tara if there is possibility of some support from the side of EC.

I am coming here with one idea. Let me ask you if you would find interesting the competition called MISS and MISTER of the EC.

What it should be about?

1. NO BEAUTY, NO AGE LIMITATIONS. Since it is  easy to misuse some pictures from the internet, let´s put the beauty aside, moreover as we all know - beauty is something temporary.

2. The main point of this competition will be to find the most beautiful girl and boy with awesome CHARACTER. I am talking about the INNER BEAUTY.

3. The applicants should have these characteristic „features“:

a) active chatter

b) nice person but strong inside

c) good sense of humour

d) intelligent

e) charismatic

4. First of all, people who would like to participate in this competition should apply within two weeks or we can in the chatroom select people we would like to see them in the final round – of course only with their agreement.

5. When we have the list of the applicants, they all should go through one task – to write a blog on the specific topic. Of course something, which will show their character.  We  can ask them on main of the chatroom the questions and make some decissions and opinions about them.

6. Then we will vote, which would mean that three best girls and three best boys will get into the final. The final will be tough because nothing is for free. These finalists will record themselves so that we could hear their nice voices – don´t get scared please, will answer the questions in the chatroom and will have to work hard to persuade us who of them is the best one.

7. As you can see, it isn´t still totally perfect but at least I have some basic imagination. So I will be thankful to everybody who will come up with something original, interesting and will little bit help me.

I have been overlooking something like this for last few weeks but lately I think I can´t stay quiet anymore. Call me old-fashioned, weird or just freaky but let me explain the situation.

Lately in the chatroom I came across many times the situation that people feel tired or bored of saying HI to all the members. To me this is something very abusive and I can say I find it arrogant.
When we enter the room, no matter what room it is – doctor, company,school etc. guess we all greet other people we are surounded by. This is the basic rule of the etiquette. (Just for these who don´t know about something like this.)

So tell me, what is the problem to enter the chatroom and to say HI to all the people ? Does internet give us anonymous feeling that we can behave like rednecks?

I was told that I expect too much from other people, that I want their attention but let me tell you that this isn´t the reason. It is about morals, principles which according to me every society should follow. I have been also told that since not all answer back, why to greet them. Well, still even though they don´t greet back, it is something like duty to me to greet all and these who won´t answer I just have my own opinion about them.

So dear chatters, since you praise God here on the main chatroom, try to focus on what God would think of you in such situation plus as Behnam today said that in islam there is saying: You should greet even if you enter the empty room. I like this a lot therefore I am atheist.

                THE PRETENDERS

Beyond the fake words we hide our feelings,

we feel stronger but our behaviour has no meaning.

Pretending we are superiour and unbeatable,

shaking inside with the frear, feeling miserable.

We wear the phlegmatic cold mask on our face,

to protect ourselves from the big disgrace.

It isn´t trendy to show the emotions and the fear,

so bye bye sincere people - you all should disappear.

I can hear somewhere very far away from me alarm clock but I am so tired to turn it off. Suddenly, I realized it all and I am totally lost. The mornigns are always the worst for me. To accept the reality. Just… why me? Why I got so deep? I feel like soon I will reach the bottom, bottom of my empty soul, which is trying to fight, using the last energy. But how much is left? Few seconds, minutes, days? Hard to guess because the feeling, unbearable feeling I feel on my chest is like a huge stone which precludes me from taking a breath. I desperately need to feel the fresh air in my lungs, I need inspiration to live since I am lost so deep in the black ocean of the darkness. Can´t see the way back. The sorrow is trying to kill me. Anyway, I am brave, my inner voice is scolding me: Get up, coward!!! You must move on!! I closed my eyes, started concentrating on the best moments of my life, reacalled them all. Second by second warm started flooding my body. I am little bit happy, I am happy in my past as I can see. My memories are now my great friends I can´t live without. I realized that this process of getting back into my past gave me indescribable feeling and it also gave me the energy to wake up, to go out and to fight against the „jungle“ I am surounded by.

People usually ask: Which do you prefer? The sea or the mountains? As for me – definitely the mountains. I am not a fan of „frying“ my body on the beach because to me it is boring. I prefer something more active, for example hiking. Since early childhood I spent my holidays in the mountains with my parents and I would say it influenced me a lot. I tend to the nature, I just love to escape from the rush of the city.

The mountains can give you a lot but sometimes they might be even unpredictable. The weather is there  so changable that many times people unfortunately died because of their bad guessing or they simply underestimated their conditions. So, in my opinion we should respect the mountains else we might get lost easily. We should be ready for the situations we can come across before setting off the trip. So get dressed properly, don´t forget the map, some food, tea and piece of chocolate to get some energy. We can start right now. Down there in the village, we simply make the jokes with the friends but when we look up and see the mountain – sometimes it gives us the impression like – am I able to get there? Of course, you are, since even the kids can make it. Well, let me tell you that I am not talking here about The Himalayan mountains, just about the mountains around 1500-2000 metres above the sea! To spend the time with the friends like this might be great because you can experience a lot of fun. Other people prefer being alone and to enjoy each breath of the fresh air they take. Up to us, this is very individual. So what is the best satisfaction after climbing the mountain? Awesome view and the feeling you made it and it was really worth sweating while trying to reach the top of the mountain!!!

To relax in the mountains it gives me the energy and it restarts my brain. I am really able to sit in the grass for hours, to watch the awesome scenery and to enjoy that in my brain is nothing, just nice peaceful feeling. After spending some days in the mountains I feel reborn and ready to come back to the civilization. And my dream? To watch the sunrise from the top of the mountain.
