Generally speaking, the wise learn from mistakes of others. So reading and pondering over the events, stories, fairly tales, and mistakes of others enhances wisdom. When I used to ponder over the event of Adam (A.S)'s exile from Heaven, there were some questions bore in my mind that Allah from Whom nothing is hidden, how was it possible for the devil to tempt the Eve and Adam to eat wheat which was prohibited?. why didn't Allah interfere in the whole affairs?

The answers I got later that it's law of Allah that unless His creature asks Him for help, He doesn't help. Second, the silence of Allah in the whole affair was His strategy (Hikmut). He wanted to let Adam know his biggest enemy how he deceived Adam. Whenever the devil succeeds his plots, he seems to be so much exited, but he doesn't know that repentance is a return ticket to meet his Lord and to rebuild the relation with Him. So, as soon as Adam realized that he displeased His Lord by disobeying His order, he, at once, turned to Allah for repentance. Allah loved his etiquette that he blamed on himself rather than linking it to the will of Allah or part of His strategy, knowing that Allah had created him to send to the earth. This is called "the etiquette of Adam (peace be upon him)

14th August: Pakistan Independence Day

Every country has his unique way of celebrating his independence day. The celebration of this day, actually, reminds us the sacrifices made by our elders for the sake of our future. Everyone has his own motive for seeking independence or demanding a separate homeland where he can cultivate whatever he wants just like a newly married bride desires for a separate home where there is no interference in carrying out her own ideas, so she may easily pursue her dream or imagination.

Quid-E-Azam address with Nation on 15 August

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3tVWwFcmr0

Similarly, our elders demanded a separate homeland, which came into being on 14 August, 1947 (27th Ramadan) on the ideology of Islam under the leadership of a great leader, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, popularly known as Quid-e-Azam which means "the leader of leaders", one of the most successful lawyer. This homeland is commonly known as Pakistan. Its official name is Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Pakistan is the only Muslim state which has nuclear status.

When it comes to celebrating any festivals like Eid, or independence day, our children are so much active. They force their elders to buy small buntings so that they may decorate the home with them. On this occasion, school management organizes speech competition, debate, and function in which students are given different role to represent different cultures of Pakistan. When I was child, I used to wait impatiently for this day and celebrate it just like Eid festival.

Whereas, youngsters keep riding bikes while listening to the national songs. Local people organize some programme keeping in view of interest of their people. However, there are a few people who realize why we have gained independence and what is the purpose of celebrating this day. To me, This day is the day of realizing sincere sacrifices of our elders who jeopardized their lives for our sake. This day is the day of self accountability as a citizen, as a civil servant, as a businessman, as a politician, and as a nation how much we have gained and how much we have lost and blame on self individually rather than justifying our blunders.

Long Live Pakistan!      Long Live Pakistan!

Wife vs Husband (fun blog)

A husband and a wife are two most important members in a family performs like the mind and the heart in an human body. When they both don't accord with each other, affect the whole family so badly just like the contradiction between the heart and the mind effects the whole body. You must be curious about which one is wife, the mind or the heart. There is no doubt that the heart is wife. If not, why do you call your wife "sweat heart", huh? So, let's study the functions of a heart in comparison with a wife. Hey! This comparison is conducted between heart and wife, nay girl friend.

One of main functions of heart can be compared to the wife is constant pounding. I mean the heart never keeps silent. Similarly, she continuously rants something as soon as she sees her husband. I am sure that having read it, you might come forward to support her that when the heart stops beating, the life is over. I agree the silence of wife depicts the home like living in dessert, no noise no fun. She must say something to realise her family that she is alive and trying to keep her family alive. However, the fact of research must be kept in view that the beat of heart if exceeds or decreases the standard level considers abnormal. So, keep speaking but in soft tone like rhythmical pounding of heart.

The heart is an abode of love, sincerity, kindness, but tempted easily by devil who dwells nearest to the heart, the way the Eve was trapped in Heaven. So, listen to your heart as well as your wife consciously and view the advice from all angles whether it is purified from all kind of temptations, which may drag you in danger or follow her at your own risk, I won't be responsible for any problem you will encounter in future :)

The mind is the organ of a body performs like the king in a state or husband in a home, whereas the heart is the best adviser to the mind, similarly the wife to her husband. The embarrassing situation occurs when the heart tries to occupy the ruling position of the mind. It's because, when the mind, having examined suggestions of the heart from all angles and found it impure or inappropriate in the interest of the whole body, rejects it. The heart has to accept the mind as king to lead peaceful life and to keep the whole body healthy. Otherwise, this fight will remain everlasting.

For The Sake Of Knowledge.

Who is Sunni Muslim?
The Muslim who follows Sunnah.

What is sunnah?
The teaching and actions or examples of Muhammad, Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him). Personally, I don't like to label myself as Sunni Muslim as there is no such word "Sunni Muslim" in Quran and Hadith.

The Sunni Muslim believe that Muhammad, Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) didn't nominate a successor before his departure from the world. Hence, the most of his prominent companions (may Allah be pleased with them) gathered and elected Abo Baker Siddique, (May Allah be pleased with him)  the closest friend, and father in law as the first caliph through democratic way.

There are four schools of thoughts in jurisdiction of Sunni Muslims such as Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki, Hunbali. They all have slight differences in their method of practicing Islam, however the destination of all is the same i.e Allah and the road to the destination is Prophet (peace be upon him) . The first four caliphs who were differed from one another in nature, wealth, and attitude, but were the most beloved companions of Prophet (peace be upon him). The similarity among all companions was Taqwa (God-fearing).

Now come to the point I like you to know. I came across a debate whether the prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is alive or death.
Among all schools of thoughts there is no discrepancy that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) tested the death. Allah says in Quran, [39:30]
"Indeed you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) will taste death, and they (the disbelievers) too will die.". As a matter of fact, all living things including martyrs about whom Allah forbade us to call "death" in Quran [2:154]  too have to test the death according to this verse of Quran [03:185] "Every soul must taste death".

There is almost all Sunni Muslims who believe that the death is a mean/process of transferring soul  from temporary  life to perpetual life. As per this concept, the soul of pious people resting peacefully in their grave till the resurrection day, whereas, the soul of transgressors are lying unrest in their grave.

Majority Muslims, as per this concept, believe that the Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him) resting in his grave with sound and safe. I was astonished when I came to know that a group of Muslims denied this fact by referring to the verse of Quran as cited above [39:30] and putting aside the authentic Hadith, which states that the Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him) while replying to a query of Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "Allah has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets." [Abu Dawud Book 002, Hadith Number 1526.]

Furthermore, there is another authentic Hadith Narated By Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: If any one of you greets me, Allah returns my soul to me and I respond to the greeting. [Abu Dawud Book 004, Hadith Number 2036:]

In response to the last Hadith as referred above, I would like to refer to Surat Al-Ahzab verse No 56.

"Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O People who Believe! Send blessings and abundant salutations upon him." (Everlasting peace and unlimited blessings be upon the Holy Prophet Mohammed.)

Note: There is no need to explain how much blessings and abundant salutations are sent upon beloved Prophet (peace be upon him)during 24 hours. As per this Hadith, He (peace be upon him) responds to them all.  Can we imagine how many times a day the soul of Prophet is returned to him in order to respond to all the greeting?  Absolutely NO! Besides, Allah says in  Surah No 21 and verse No 107 " And We have not sen t you O Muhammad (peace be upon him) except as Mercy to the worlds". He (peace be upon him) has been sent as Marcy to the worlds.  It means there is no more  Marcy to the world as soon as he (peace be upon him) was died? Allah blessed us wisdom to carry out His orders by understanding the priorities or scale of preference rather than drawing the stereotypical image from few words whereas the whole content testifies that He is alive in his grave.

Despite having these kind of differences which also based on Taqwa (God-fearing), we are united as Muslims under the shade of the word of purity " There is no worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His last Messenger." In Allah`s eyes, it is a crime to be involved in sectarianism. Allah says in the Quran (3:103). "Hold on firmly together to the rope of God, and be not divided among yourselves"

The above references are too obvious to argue, yet different opinions but in a respectful way are welcomed.

A long time ago, my late uncle, who was a doctor and run a clinic in a slum area at reasonable charges, resolved a domestic issues of a newly married couple. One day,  he happened to visit our home. So while having dinner, we persuaded him to tell that story by himself. Whatever he told I wrote it in my own words, so you may extract some pearls if there are for you.

There was a newly married couple, who was leading a happy life. Both husband and wife had a better understanding. the wife took care of his husband and so did he. A peaceful life of that couple was eyesore to her neighbor, who was stubborn and always sought chances to fight with her husband, who exemplified considerate nature of that wife.

One day, the wife insisted his husband to take her to her mother in that evening, but due to extra tasks assigned by his boss delayed him in reaching home. In the meanwhile, the neighbor had poisoned in her ears and told her that all husband treated their wives like their slaves. So no need to obey him, rather do against his desire and expectation. He would be your slave. Eventually, she succeeded in her plot.

When the husband came at home, he found her sleeping on bed while everything was lying here and there. He woke her up apologizing to her for his delay, but she paid no attention to him. He asked her to fetch a cup of tea the way he always brought it for him as soon as he entered home. On contradictory to his expectation, she took him to the kitchen and said very rudely, "you can make tea for yourself. I am not your slave".  He was shocked to see such change in her behaviour, however he ignored it as her first mistake, but everyday she misbehaved in such manner. He estranged himself from her and the gap between them was gradually widened instead of narrowed.

The distance had been to that extent that they both began hating each other faces. The husband continued ignoring her and spent all the time either in watching TV or reading books. On the other hand, she began feeling sick. She wanted to normalize the situation, but found no solution. One day she was very sick and had to come to the doctor, her family doctor. The doctor (my uncle) tried to figure out the causes of sickness, she began crying and backbiting her husband. My uncle, having seen her dirty dress, oily hair, the way of talking, got the whole story at first glance.

He, apart from prescribing some medicines, gave her amulet telling her that the devil, who created fight between you and your husband, had occupied your home. Hearing it she was shocked and asked what to do. He advised her that she had to do nothing but cleaning your home, cooking in time, and wear neat dress before her husband reached home. He further advised her to receive him with  smiling face, serve him tea and let him say first if he wanted to share her something. He maybe, while coming to home, had an incident which worsened his mood. In case of his bad mood, he advised her to keep that amulet in her mouth and closed her mouth. In sha allah, thing would get better.

She acted upon his advice. It took one or two weeks to revive the relation. Finally, everything was much better than before. She came to the doctor after a month just to express her gratitude to my uncle, who then prayed for that couple that the blessing of Allah might be upon both of them forever. She was an illiterate girl who used to follow other advice and never use her own wisdom which Allah blessed her. There are a few people in this world are like my uncle who advised other to the right direction.

When the neighbor, once again, tried to foster her ego that whatsoever she was doing was not in her interest, she said, "mind your business and don't poison in my ear anymore". She actually knew her inside out. What I learned from this story is that being submissive to the close one in order to get him/her around is not slavery. It is just like investing money in the business so as to expand it and then  it will automatically pay you back as a profit.

Why And How Do We Celebrate Eid?

Literally, the month of Ramadan is not only the month of worship but it makes us conscious about living of hungry and deprived people. In this month, we ask Allah for forgiveness by virtue of extra worship. Resultantly, our all sins are forgiven at end we believe so.However, the sins we committed by doing wrong with our relatives, or anyone are not forgiven unless (s)he forgives. It is called Haqoq-ul-Ebad (rights of human). In the whole month, we try to build up the best relation with Allah Almighty and on the eve of Eid, which is one of two festivals in Islam, we try to reconstruct the relation with the close ones and beloved ones. Begging forgiveness from each other on this occasion is religiously practised, which makes this day more pleasant.Besides this, Eid-ul-fitre is an invitation from Allah Almighty to all fast keepers, so to keep fast on this day is prohibited (haram). This is also called "the day of gratitude to Allah Almighty Who strengthens us to worship Him consistently throughout the month of Ramadan. This day demonstrates the unity among Muslims from local to international level. What do we do on this occasion.?We get up early morning as always. Having performed morning pray, we get ready for participating in congregational pray of Eid. So, first we take bath, wear a new dress, eat any sweet or dates before coming out from home to Masjid (Mosque) exulting repeatedly in low tone “Allah is Great, Allah is Great, there is no god but Allah, Allah is Great, Allah is Great and All praise be to Allah.“ we all Muslims gather in a mosque (Masjid) or in a large ground where congregational pray of Eid-ul-Fitre is performed. After pray, we embrace each others without distinction of colour, races, classes, etc and say Eid Mubarak to each others whoever we embrace or meet on the way to home. On this occasion, we  even don’thesitate to embrace those brothers, relatives and friends having bad terms with them. In this way, we bury our hatred born against each others by either mistakes or miscommunication and thus, get another chance to rebuild a good relationship.Personally, I like embracing those who hold grudge against me. By doing so, I feel peace. The Eid makes it easy for us  to reconcile differences with our brothers. Such Environment helps to constitute a peaceful society. Notwithstanding all this, If any Muslims, who don’t avail this opportunity and strengthen their ego, are at their own fault. There is nothing wrong with Islamic teaching for promoting peace or establishing the peaceful society. We go to the grave of our elders and beloved ones with a plenty of roses or petals of roses in a large amount, cover their grave with roses and then pray to Allah Almighty for their forgiveness. Then, we come at home where our mother and sisters make traditional foods and different sweet dishes for us and guests to come at home.  Oh! I forgot to mention very important thing i.e Eidi, collection of money from elder and distribute them among younger sisters, brothers, nephews and nieces. There is no loss no profit, but we enjoy a lot this circulation of money. E I D   M U B A R A KPS: please forgive me if I hurt you for no reason. If there is a good reason, please improve yourself too. :D

The first time, Islam was introduced to the inhabitants on the soil of the South Asian subcontinent by the traders from the coast land of Arabia and Persian Gulf. But, the first autonomous Muslim State was established by Muhammad Bin Qasim after conquer of Sindh in 712 A.D as reprisal against sea pirates. Therefore, Sindh, which is one of four provinces of Pakistan, is also known as  "Babul-Islam", gateway to Islam (in subcontinent).

Before the advent of Islam in subcontinent, there were four major castes,  such as Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras divided into hundreds of sub-castes in Hind. The rise of new faith which was absolute contradictory to polytheism and inequality, became eye sore to the powerful elite.  Notwithstanding this, the impact of Islam on the subcontinent was deep and far reaching. Islam introduced not only a new religion but new civilization, a new way of life and a new set of values also.

The arrival of a great Sufi Khawaja Muinuddin Chishti Ajmari ( 1142 to 1236) who converted approximately 5.5 millions of Hindus into Islam through peace and patience and shaikh Bahauddin Zakriya ( 1182 - 1262) who also played very effective role by helping the local inhabitants understand the Islam by virtue of spiritual power and miracle and millions of such saints were born in India who promoted the religion of monotheism, the shrine of whom, can be referred as the best evidence that Islam in south Asian subcontinent was spread through peace and patience.

Furthermore, the Muslims ruled at India for about 10 centuries. In the meanwhile, no clue was found in the history that teaching of Islam was forcibly imposed on any non-Muslims. If it was spread by sword, no any disbeliever, after a long period of one thousand year, would be left alive in the region. As a matter of fact, the force in the matter of choosing faith is absolutely against the teaching of Islam.

Allah says in Surah No. 02 verse No. 256 " There is no compulsion in faith"

Since the world has been a global village, knowing one another, in term of enlarging the circle of friendship through blogging,  has been the need of the time. So, let's take the first step toward peace and friendship by exchanging the way of making ablution in accordance to our respective religion.

1). Before making ablution, intention of making ablution should be done in the heart, then say " Bismillah- In the name of Allah."

2). Completely washing the hand including the wrists and between the fingers ( 03 times ).

3). Rinse the mouth ( three times). Using the right hand, put a small amount of water into the mouth, swirl around, then expel.

Health benefits

Regularly cleaning the mouth five times a day may resist breaking out the following diseases:-

I. AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) as swelling of the mouth is one of its initial symptoms.

II. Tearing the mouth' periphery.
III. Moniliasis of the mouth and lips
IV. Rotting and blistering of mouth

Besides, it is sunnah of beloved Prophet ( peace be upon him) to gargle the throat if the person is not in fasting. Regularly gargling the throat fives a day protects against tonsillitis and several types of throat infections including throat cancer.

4) sniff water into the nostrils as far as possible with the right hand, cleanse nose with small finger of left hand and then sniff it out with the left hand. (03 times)

Health benefit

Hairs inside the nose prevent dust from coming into lung through air. There is a microscopic scrubber that has invisible bristle, which kills the germs coming with air. These bristles are called lysozyme. Regularly rinsing the nose five times a day fortifies the ability of bristles, which save from several complex diseases of nose by virtue of wadu ( ablution )

5). Wash the face from forehead to chin left earlobe to the right earlobe making sure the whole face is washed (03 times)

Health benefit.

Beychar, a senior member of ‘American Council for Beauty reveals, “Muslims do not need any chemical lotion as their face is protected against diseases due to being washed during Wudu (ablution).” The experts of environmental protection say, “To prevent face allergy, wash it frequently.” This is only possible during Wudu (ablution) by washing face during wudu (ablution), the face is massaged, the blood circulation improves towards the face, dirt is removed and its beauty becomes two fold.

6). Wash the two arms up to and including the elbows, hand and between the fingers. Begin with the right arm ( thrice )

Health benefit

There are three major veins in the elbow that are directly related to the heart, liver and the brain. This organ usually remains covered. If water or air is not allowed to interact with elbows, several mental and neurological complications may arise.

7). Wipe the head with wet fingers starting at the fringe to the back hairline and back the same way all in one movement ( once only). Simultaneously, wipe the insides of both ears with the index fingers and the bank of the ears with the thumbs ( once only)

Health benefit :

When a person performs Mash of the neck during Wudu (ablution), the electric radiation emitting from hand enters the major artery and from there, transmits to all sections of neurological system via vertebral column and the neurological system is fortified.

8).  Wash the feet including the ankles and between the toes. Begin with the right foot ( thrice for each feet).

Health benefit:

Washing feet in Wudu (ablution) according to Sunnah removes diseases like sleep shortness, dryness of brain, heart sinking and depression.

How do you make ablution? Share please.

Writing Challenge: Stepmother

This is the last month Writing Challenge. Many challengers took parts in the writing challenge with so much enthusiasm and expressed their affections for their mothers impressively, but none of them wrote a blog on a stepmother who also plays positive or negative role in the life of a stepchild. Maybe none of them had  the stepmother.

So, let me introduce you my stepmother who always comes in the time of necessity. I am sure you must have met this mother many times or at least once a life. I met this mother when my real mother went to uncle's home (mother's brother) and could not come back to home due to sudden call for strike from a political party.

The market was completely closed due to the strike. There were sufficient food such as meatballs, fishes and raw vegetables in the refrigerator except bread. Hence, the bread was my necessity at that time. On the other hand,  being a grade 10 student had no exact idea how to bake a perfect bread.

Accordingly, the stepmother came to play her role. Apparently, she didn't lend me a helping hand in all the process of baking my first bread, nevertheless she forced me to do everything which I needed to do. She made me take out flour as per my requirement, mix water, salt and then beat it till it became a soft dough. Then she forced me to bake it on oven.

When my first bread was successfully baked. I said to her, " stepmother is notorious for her cruelty and you aren't differed from others. You are indeed my cruel mother". she whispered, "Sorry, I am not your mother. I am the mother of invention not the inventor".  My God! The greatest misunderstanding!  Having got through this experience, I have been sure that necessity is the mother of invention, not inventor.

There was a young boy who wanted to marry a girl whom he loved greatly, but his parent proposed him another girl to whom he was completely unfamiliar. When his parent grew pressure on him to marry the girl selected by them, he left the house protesting that he would rather die but never take the risk of life.

He approached a sage and told him the whole story. The sage asked him the reason of telling the whole story. He told him that he had come there to beg him a amulet which might change the decision of his parent and then, they would marry him to his beloved girl. The sage advised him to marry the girl chosen by his parent  for him. He further said that the will of parent is the will of Allah, but he was too stubborn. He threatened him to suicide by diving into the wall nearest to him if  the amulet was not given.

Eventually, the sage had to concede his request, so he called him. He, then, wrote four lines on a chit, folded and gave it to him on that condition that he would not read what was written on the chit unless he married his beloved.

As soon as he reached home, his parent was anxiously waiting for him. They agreed to marry him to his beloved. Having received positive response from them, he thought that the amulet had worked for him. Finally the day came he was waiting for. He was married to his beloved. When many days of marriage went by, a wish bore at his heart to read what was written on the chit. So, when he opened it, he was shocked to have read it. Four lines written by the sage were:-

( the sage addresses Allah Almighty)

"I know nothing
He assents nothing
This is your servant and You are his Lord
You know him and know your job"

Moral message is not marriage but something else :)

The lover and the beloved

The relationship between lover and the beloved is a unique and incomprehensible, but not for those who have sense of love. When you hurt the lover, it may be the one person who is suffered, but when you hurt the beloved, it means you have disheartened two persons , the beloved and the lover simultaneously. When I read this verse of the Quran

“O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not.” { Surah No 49 verse No 02}

I figure out many pearls. The verse of the Quran, itself, reveals how much Allah Almighty loves His Beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). Hence, the one who doesn’t learn how to respect for His Prophet, by whom he is known here and hereafter, he learns nothing.

The heaven and the hell are these two factors which push forward a believer to do virtuous deeds and refrain him from doing evils. The concept of reward and punishment develops a sense of responsibility, fear and love of Allah and His Prophet (peace be upon him). The salvation of a servant lays in carrying out the orders of his Lord. In case of non-compliance, he will have to face the hell. The man is naturally a greedy creature. The believer is aspirant to heaven. So, behind all his good deeds is the intention of gaining paradise.

But, when I recite and go into the depth of  this verse of the Quran [33:56]

" Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O People who Believe! Send blessings and abundant salutations upon him".

I try to ascertain the extent of the love which Allah Almighty might have demarcated for His beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). There may be the extent of His love for His Prophet (peace be upon him), but it is beyond our approach and comprehension. It is because,  Allah Almighty, Who is the Lord of heaven and has no fear of hell nor has any kind of pressure over Him,  sends the blessing on His most beloved Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), rather assigns countless angels and believers ( believers  are those who love Prophet (peace be upon him) more than themselves, in other words true servants of him). This is an obvious sign of unprecedented love of Allah Almighty for His beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).

Besides this, When the Prophet (peace be upon him), upon whom, Allah, Himself, sends blessing needs no blessing from anyone else nor can anyone send the blessing equal to that of Allah. The blessing sent by Allah  aren't sufficient for him! , yet He orders purest creature, angels and the most obedient servant, believers to keep sending the blessing and abundant salutations on him.
Allah has neither offered any prayers nor has He ever kept fast, but the thing he keeps doing is to send the blessing on His beloved (peace be upon him)
To be honest I could say more and more,  but stop here with this thought that a word to the wise is enough.

There are no any discrepancies among all farmers that neither the growth of crops nor fertility is possible without rain. They sow seeds in soil and wait for the rain. Similarly, all friends of Allah believe that no body can  be convinced without the will of Allah. They  know that their duty is to plant a seed of the truth at the heart and then wait for the blessing of Allah. They literally believe  in  the authority of Allah at the heart of His creatures. In addition to this, Allah guides only those who ask Him for guidance as has been taught in first surah and verse No 6-7 "Guide us on the Straight Path. the path of those whom You have favoured Not the path of those who earned Your anger – nor of those who are astray." Hence, neither Allah, Himself, forces His creatures to obey Him nor do the friends of Him. Therefore, there is no slightest ailment of extremism among them. They always react in patience whether people follow them or not.

The farmers have to take so much cares of the small plant unless  its roots get sturdy and it transforms into a tree. Similarly, the friends of Allah keep cultivating the personality of transgressors step by step by purifying their heart from all worldly desires till they become a true servant of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) . They know that when the faith is properly founded with the love for beloved Prophet (peace be upon him), there is almost zero chance for a believer to deviate from the path of truth in all circumstances just like those trees which roots are sturdy, stay strong and standstill even in windy and stormy seasons.

An Hadith is referred in this regard.

Narated By 'Abdullah bin Hisham : We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he was holding the hand of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab. 'Umar said to Him, "O Allah's Apostle!(peace be upon him) You are dearer to me than everything except my own self." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, (you will not have complete faith) till I am dearer to you than your own self." Then 'Umar said to him, "However, now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my own self." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Now, O 'Umar, (now you are a believer)."

[Bukhari Volume 008, Book 078, Hadith Number 628.]

In the light of Hadith, it must be clear that the love for beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) can not be an act of polytheism, ( such creed is preached by some ill-bred scholars)  rather completions of faith. If the love for the prophet (peace be upon him) was an act of polytheism, the love of father, mother, sister, brother wife etc would be the greatest sin. This is a brief exegesis of  seed of faith/ a gateway to Islam (There is no god, but Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His Messenger)  from the aspects we have learned in the light of the Quran and Hadiths. I have been asked so many time how extremism and terrorism crept into this peaceful religion. So, i just tried to explain  when a seed of faith is sowed on wrong conception regarding Prophet, Muhammad ( peace be upon him) about whom Allah says in Surah No 21 and verse No 107 " And We have not sent you O Muhammad (peace be upon him) except as Mercy to the worlds" the growth of such inhumanity at their heart is inevitable.  how can they enjoy the fruits of this sweetest and peaceful religion in such state of mind?

While flourishing the seed of faith, be aware of devil who is very active in creating the seed of doubt and thus, try to worsen the real test of the faith by unnecessarily underrating the greatness and deserving status of the most beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) whose love is the most prerequisite in the faith. The faith without the love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) is just like body without soul, the flower without fragrance, eyes without sight and honey without sweetness.

In this regard an Hadith is hereby referred

Narated By Anas (R.A) : The Prophet said, "Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:

1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.

2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake.

3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire."

[Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 015.]

In the Quran Surah No 09 Verse No 24

(O Esteemed Messenger!) Say: ‘If your fathers (and forefathers) and your sons (and daughters) and your brothers (and sisters) and your wives and your (other) kith and kin and the riches that you have earned (so hard) and the trade and business that you fear may decline and the homes you are fond of are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) and struggling in His cause, then wait until Allah brings His command (of torment). And Allah does not guide the disobedient.

There are many evidences in the Quran and Hadiths which prove the importance of the love for the beloved Prophet ( peace be upon him) in the faith which plays a vital role in building up peaceful character and strong personality of a believer. Besides this, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is an ultimate role model not only for the believers but also for the whole humanity.

I would finish my line with this proverb.

In continuation of the blog written under the same subject " A Seed Of Faith And Its Farmers ", some precautionary measures in this regards are discussed here

When you firmly intend to grow the plant of faith, you have to keep it away from charlatan farmers such as fanatic and extremist scholars, sheikhs or Mufti whose intentions of speech is to prolong ignorable discrepancies in creeds/beliefs and on which bases they spread hatred among Ummah. Besides this, don't trust in those scholars who are found underestimating the worth of Beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) whose love in the faith is the most prerequisite, otherwise the faith will remain incomplete just like devil who believed in One God, but denied to confess Adam (peace be upon him) as a greater creature and viceroy of Allah.

Any scholars who are found preaching this belief by referring to the speech of the first caliph who delivered at the time, when he (peace be upon him) departed from worldly life that the prophet (peace be upon him) of Allah has died . The speech of the first Caliph, the closest companion to the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him), is misinterpreted by fanatic muftis, scholars and sheikhs. As a matter of fact, the speech is not applicable to a person who expresses his love for him ( peace be upon him) by confessing him (peace be upon him) as Messenger of Allah, nay as a God.

In the Quran Surah No 02 verse No. 154 Allah forbids to call a martyr dead. In accordance with which, when a martyr who is inferior to the Holy Prophet of Allah ( peace be upon him), can not be called dead, how is it possible for a believer to assume him (peace be upon him) dead? We believe that he, as a messenger of God, is alive resting with safe and sound. Such belief does not violate the concept of monotheism, which is the first part of Kalma Tayyab, (the seed of faith) rather it represents true/exact meaning of second part of Kalma, "Muhammad (peace be upon him) is {not was} the messenger of Allah" . Hence, the Kalma tayyab, itself, is the most authentic reference of what we believe that he (peace be upon him) is still Apostle of Allah. This information is related to Faith, so it is not ignorable.

In this regards, authentic Hadith are referred below:-

Hadith No. 01.

According to the hadith that Hazrath Enes narrated, Our Prophet (pbuh) when coming round Kudus (Jarusalem), He stopped at Hazrath Moses’ grave and saw him praying. (see Muslim, Fadâil, 42- hadith no 164). In that hadith it is stated that Hazrath Moses is alive in his grave after thousands years.

Hadith N0. 02.

Anas b. malik reported: Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) as saying: I came. And in the narration transmitted on the authority of Haddib (the words are): I happened to pass by Moses (عليه السلام) on the occasion of the Night journey near the red mound (and found him) saying his prayer in his Grave. [ Authentic Muslim Book 030, Number 5858:]

Hadith No. 03.

Narated By Aws b. Aws :

The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: Among the most excellent of your days is Friday, on it Adam was created, on it he died, on it the trumpet will be blown and on it the shout will be made, so invoke many blessings on me that day, for your blessing will be submitted to me. They (the Companions) asked: Apostle of Allah, how can our blessing be submitted to you, when your body is decayed? He said: Allah has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets. [Abu Dawud Book 002, Hadith Number 1526.

Hadith No. 04

Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar:

Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: Whoever visits my grave after my death it is same he has visited me in my life. [Tibrani Volume 012: Hadith Number 406, Bayhaqi Shab ul Iman Volume 003: Hadith Number 489]

Hadith No 05

In accordance with this Hadith [Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0328:] Muhammad (peace be upon him) is also known as " Imam-ul-Anbiya ( leader of Prophets) which proves his superiority to all other prophets (Peace be upon them).

Now come to this Hadith

Hadith No. 06

Narated By AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: If any one of you greets me, Allah returns my soul to me and I respond to the greeting. [Abu Dawud Book 004, Hadith Number 2036:]

In response to the last Hadith No 06 as referred above, I would like to refer to Surat Al-Ahzab verse No 56.

Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O People who Believe! Send blessings and abundant salutations upon him. (Everlasting peace and unlimited blessings be upon the Holy Prophet Mohammed.)

Note: There is no need to explain how much blessings and abundant salutations are sent upon beloved Prophet (peace be upon him)during 24 hours. As per this Hadith, He (peace be upon him) responds to them all.

Therefore, the friends of Allah, by filling the heart of their disciples with the love for beloved Prophet (peace be upon him), make them true servants of the Prophet, Muhammad ( peace be upon him). Being the servant to the Prophet (peace be upon him) is about being servant of Allah in a true sense. You may have heard from people saying that " I believe Allah" but I am among those who say " I believe Muhammad (peace be upon him)" this belief automatically leads us to the belief on invisible God, as if we have met Him. This is called the highest level of belief/ trust in the words of the Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). The difference between Muslim and hypocritic is the love and respect for the Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him).

My Prophet, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is my identity here and hereafter. I am proud of it, Alhamdolillah (All praises be to Allah Almighty

There was a king named Mahmoud Gadnavi, who loved  his servant, Ayaz so much and preferred him to all other dignitaries while making decision which had aroused jealousy in them. Accordingly, a minister who felt proud of being more knowledgeable than any other dignitaries, stood and with the permission of the king asked the reason of  such preference and over- importance he gave to his poor servant.  In order to respond to his query, The king ordered to bring a beautiful vase embellished with golds and diamonds.

When the vase which beautifully decorated with ornaments was presented before the king. The king, then, ordered the minister, who complained to him about his discriminative attitude, to break it. The minister, having looked at diamonds and golds, refused to do so, rather began soliciting the permission of having it at his own home. The king took it back from him and ordered to fetch Ayaz, who was  busy in the field, which was far away from the palace

As soon as Ayaz received the king's order, began rushing to the palace. He presented himself before the king with humility and asked "what order is for me, my Lord?" The king ordered him to break that beautiful vase. Ayaz, at once, threw it on the floor and thus it was broken into many pieces. The king asked Ayaz, who was the poorest among them, "why did you break it?" The loyal servant told him "my Lord, I can break thousand vases alike, but can not break your heart by disobeying your order." The king, then, turned to the minister and said "now you might have learned something from this poor servant, who needed it more than you could beg it from me, yet broke it. I, therefore, love him more than you all."

Moral: obedience  is the best competency. The best relation a servant can build up with his lord is by obeying him sincerely rather than seeking the lame excuses of disobedience or offering senseless arguments in executing orders of lord. As no one likes disobedient servants.

Marriage is a divine order to which compliance, a man and a woman, after a mutual agreement, are engaged in a marital life, so as to constitute a complete family. The marriage is the only remedy to curb growing fornication, which is not only a social disease, but also a serious punishable sin in view of Islamic laws here and hereafter.  So, it should be celebrated with as much simplicity as possible. On the other hands, many  unIslamic ceremonies, which cause extravagance, have been crept into it just to exhibit the wealth. Such practice has made a simple rite very complicated.

The ceremonies of marriage in Pakistan have gone to that extent where no an appropriate example across the world is  found. There are so many wired ceremonies, one of them, I would like to tell you with the permission of my compatriots is shoes stealing ceremony, which is more common in my home city, Karachi.  Imagine, when a young couple turns a new leave with such ceremony,  how will the rest life go by? Anyway.

I guess you might be confused or thinking that shoes stealing ceremony means shoes of all participants in the marriage are stolen. Not at all! Don't worry about it. The shoes of only groom are stolen by bridal sisters for handsome amount of money as a ransom when the groom with his family, relatives and friends arrives at bridal house at the time of Nikha. I have no idea about its origin.

We all know the thief never foretells us what he plots to take away from us, but here the groom already knows each and every thing that he is going to be cheated. So, he keeps extra money in his pocket to exchange it for shoes. But all grooms in Pakistan are not as gentle as I mentioned above as an example. Some grooms are over-smart who persuade their friends to hide new shoes from bridal sisters. So, they replace new shoes by old ones to deceive them (bridal sisters) However, the groom, despite applying all his tricks, has to be hoaxed by them at the end on the name of fun.

Personally, I detest such ceremonies which may sometimes bring about conflict between two parties at a very sensitive stage when destiny of two lives is being decided and celebration can be marred by involvement of ego from either side of two parties. By the way, what would you do if you were a groom facing such situation?

Please do share your tricks.

PS: This ceremony is called "shoes hiding ceremony". However, I wrote it "shoes stealing ceremony" to make it more interesting.
