A Firm Faith in ABC

Man is born naked who knows nothing, but with the start from ABC of any thing he confront as challenge, becomes the master. He earns different title and respect in the society on account of his constant labour in gaining excellency of the chosen field of which he knows nothing when he takes his first try. However, there are many people we have met who are lost in reverie and build castle in the air. These are those who wish to attain everything overnight and does not believe in ABC. Hence, believing in ABC is a first step toward success and solid foundation of skyscraper

Stop Dreaming

Since childhood, I had a lot dreams which, I believed, would come true someday, but in reality most of them just became part of my memory and there is no prospect of fulfilling them at this age. As a matter of fact, I never followed my dreams nor did I try practically to achieve them. The hurdle that stood on my way was my self assumption there were many barriers erected on my achievement, but in reality it needed different tactic for different dreams  and slight try with firm intention that might eradicate them of which I came to know when time was passed.

There must be some dreams that push us forward and give us the purpose of life, but we should not confine ourselves to imaginary life, but have to do something practically. For you have to keep the company of those dreamers who are heading toward the same destination or you will find yourself hampered in the circle of critics just like a bird feels among different species.
In view of my narrative, you might think I am a failure person, right? Yes, I think I am to some extent even though I am working at a highly reputable position, having own private conveyance, home but they all seems little. It is because, I dreamt a lot. I, therefore, decided to stop dreaming, so I may thank for what I have been been blessed without dreaming and too much efforts.

Meeting With Caretaker Minister

I was serving the government as Private Secretary to the Additional Cheif Secretary during caretaker set up was installed before last election held on 25th July, 2018. Our Provincial Minister of caretaker government was to visit at our office. It was an introductory meeting convened on instruction of the then Minister at 04:00 pm. I was so busy in arranging this meeting that I could not remember what time it was. Suddenly I received a call from PS to Minister informing with reluctance that the Minister had arrived at the entrance, but no one was there to receive him. I immediately asked the Deputy Director to go down to receive him. Before he moved ahead, the Minister appeared coming out of the elevator. When he came close to me, he expressed his reluctance over such protocol. I said nothing as a few words of explanation amount to challenging his majesty, but I went into a deep thought for awhile that the Muslim leaders of earlier time had never called for protocol, rather led very simple life. Is he a really Muslim leader ? I think he is not.

Artificial Gentleman

There are so many types of personalities you might have met in your life and after passing a certain time you have formed your judgement which was later on proven wrong. Actually most of people, we meet on different occasion, successfully hide their flaws and behave differently. With this superficial judgement, we try to clinch our friendship.

Similarly, I have recently met few guys who were discussing how to impress others and what made others love them. Conclusion of the whole discussion was  to adopt such attitudes that they look very gentleman. I call it artificial gentleman. I am of the opinion that in view of others' liking and disliking, we bring temporary changes in our attitudes, but they have never been parts of our personality. In a nutshell, behaving like a gentleman can save us from harm for the time being. We can never change ourselves when we are changed, but when we convinced ourselves by awakening our consciousness. We, then, become genuine and real gentleman.

I participated in speech competition on the topic: importance of a mother in our lives)
I am not here to deliver an emotional speech on the importance of a mother in our lives as my relation with my mother is not based on emotion, rather on spirituality. She is as much importance to me as the heaven to the worshiper and soul to the body. In fact, she is spiritually connected to our soul. I, despite much meditation, fail to figure out as to how she foresees the tragedy I am going to face. Because  I experience it whenever I go against her will.
When I was a child, she used to impose  restrictions on some activities and compelled me to follow a schedule given by her. In other words you can say, she seized the freedom of movement which I thought the right of every child in the world. I used to ask my self if she was so callous about my feeling, but when I grew up, I saw the wisdom behind all these circumscription that disciplinary training has seldom freedom.  Thus, she has proven herself a best trainer of life.
As a matter of fact, we can not take part in holy war without her permission. A man once came to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and sought his advice about taking part in the Holy war. The Prophet asked him whether his mother was alive? . He answered in the affirmative. The prophet then told him go back home and serve her as if heaven was under her feet. I believe that serving her will lead me to the heaven and nobody should have any doubt in it at all.
A mother deserves service, love, submission obedience and gratitude from us, but contradictory to this, most of us treat her as if she is our personal slave. We take her unpaid services for granted. When we grow up, we pay no regard to her sentiment, choices and advice. It is now high time to acknowledge her service and try to do something that makes her feel proud of us and try to give her a helping hand in all the house chores as much as possible lest it should be too late.
Thank!

Accepting Someone As What They Are

Life has taught me many lessons which caused positive effect on my personality and thoughts. One of the lessons I have learned from life is that change never comes by force nor does it come by demand. When we accept someone after being altered, we lose the real one and lead the whole life being fool with the artificial one. So, accepting someone as what (s)he is acceptance indeed.

In my sight, the genuine, fair and sincere  people are highly respectable despite having heterogeneous thoughts and personalities rather than those who pretend to be on my wavelengths. A pseudo person is not hidden for a long time. He reveals himself/herself when you need him. Therefore, I introduce myself as a simplest person in a new place be it academic institution or workplace, so as to avoid materialists and hypocrites.

But it doesn't mean that all the critics are the sincere and fair. Most of them are jealous who can't  see any progress in us. However, they are also important persons who help us recognise who stands besides us. Some of my friends got me wrong thought that I would feel great and appreciate them for their retaliation to my insincere critics on my behalf, whereas I, myself, remain silent as long as I  smell  jealousy from criticism, so how can I allow my friends to respond them for me. However, those who change their opinions or turn against me on mere verbose criticism having no proofs,  unleash me from bondage of friendship. I let them go with a smile on my face thanking to God the Almighty for getting me rid of faked people.
This pertains people in real life. You might have different experiences and observations.

IELTS PREPARATION EXPERIENCE

As being government employee, there is always an opportunity to avail fully funded scholarship offered by universities in abroad. I have come across some reputable universities of the world offering for scholarship in the  relevant faculty to my career, but subject to having 6 band or plus in IELTS. So, I decided to appear in IELTS test, so as  to avail this offer. When I searched for the best institutions where I could prepare for it, I was astonished to see fees of these institutions were so high. However, I registered in one of the most esteem institutions.

The instructor's name was Mr. John seemed like a native, but at outset of the class, he seemed to be a time killer, but when I asked him to equip us with the techniques that we would require in answering the queries in the test, he shared links of some sites and asked us to check it out at home. Every day, he showed some English learning sites and taught us nothing. Perhaps the whole class relished his personal stories and experiences, so no single student felt bothered to smite his conscience and to ask him to the point. Interesting thing, whenever he made pairs for conversation, he chose a girl for me as speaking partner. When I asked him to replace her with someone male, he rejected my proposal, saying with a smile on his face that I was going to a western country. So, it's also a part of my practice.

In a nutshell, all the techniques we learned from some of the sites he referred us. At the end, I felt remorse for wasting not money but precious 50 hours I spent here. However, I would like to thank him for giving me so much importance in the class and appreciating me in everything I did there that really meant to me in terms of boosting my confidence.

Kill someone who decides to leave Islam

I am fed up with the negative narrative feed into Islamic discourse on media where few Islamic scriptures are misinterpreted  and  linked them to extremism or terrorism. Sadly to say the scholars invited on media like CNN and BBC can't answer their queries  with reference to context of this Hadith (saying of Muhammad peace be upon him). I have come across a debate on Islam where someone quoted the Hadith that  it is legitimate to kill someone who decided to leave Islam.

First watch this video

Please click here to watch videovideo

I am neither a scholar nor familiar with Arabic language. However, I have  attended many  Friday prays where scholars orate on different topics. Fortunately I have listened the interpretation of the cited Hadith in detail.

Here is interpretation and background of this Hadith.
After publicly declaration of faith by the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of Prophet (peace be upon him), the enemies began persecuting them, so to turn them back to their parental religion, but contrary to this, they more firmly attached with this Deen. Having seen their persistency in the practice of deen, a perception was created that anyone who once embraced Islam never abjured from it despite severe persecutions that conveyed a positive message to the disbelievers. Resultantly, Islam was flourished by leaps and bounds.  In order to remove this impression, a bunch of Jewish hatched out a plot that they pretended to accept Islam in the beginning of the day and turned back to their old faith in evening, saying "there is no anything special in Islam with intention to restrict many disbelievers from confessing true faith, Islam or those who converted into Islam would leave it.
Allah the Almighty informed the Prophet (peace be upon him) through this verse of the Quran [03:72]
"And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will abandon their religion".

In pursuance to this Quranic verse, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered that whoever decided to leave Islam would be killed. Basically, this hadith erected barrier to the entry of hypocrites into Islam, so no one could dare to enter Islam with mal-intention. It's a clear message that whoever wishes to convert into Islam, must deliberate so much as there is no compulsion in faith.

What's beauty?

The beauty has attraction. If anything or anyone apparently looks beautiful, but has no attraction for you is not beautiful for you. Two people look at the same thing from their own standpoints, so not necessarily induce the same. So let me say that beauty is in the eyes of beholders.

What's connection with love?

The beauty may not be confined to physical appearance, but it may dwell in internal personal quality which represents purity of soul if it deals the matter with patience, greatness, humbleness, coherence, wisdom, and simplicity. These all are also those factors which drag eye-beholder in love unconditionally. If anyone claims to love someone for sex, it'll be called a conditional, which is evanescent emotion, but not the love.

What's love?

It's the strongest feeling developed through constant interaction and mutual responses to every reaction which drives the lover to the climax where denial for one another is almost impossible, results in complete acquiescence and the wisdom which kept interrupting the affairs, suddenly keeps silent.

How is the love developed?

The love is developed through constant interaction and mutual response.

Interpretation

Allah's love to His creatures always looks forward but due to nonresponse from the creatures, the love remains one sided. Thus, the creatures are deprived of its fruits.   But those who attentively respond to His love through establishment of five time prays and constantly keep interacting with Him by compliance to His commandment, the love is driven to the climax where denial for one another almost impossible and result in complete acquiescence namely a word expelled out from the tongue of beloved for anyone is granted and responded at once by Allah the Almighty. And those hurt the beloved creatures, Allah the Almighty takes immediate action and avenge on his behalf. Finally the beloved enjoy inner satiation in soul.

I have come with one of civil issues, which has grasped the attention of the western media after banning on burqa in France, Balgium, Austria, the Netherland, Bulgaria and now in Denmark on the pretext for security issues while the niqab-clab women are being prosecuted in media. I am, being as a viewer, failed to figure out as to whether the ban was imposed on burqa or niqab as they both are slightly different, but it matters a lot from legal aspect. When a term "burqa" is used while legislating it, then it doesn't make sense as to why niqab-clab women are being criticised. Besides,  I don't think the burqa is worn in any western countries. It is worn in Afghanistan and in some tribal areas of Pakistan. This black one is niqab and blue one is burqa

Second the Muslim women are interrogated as to whether they  are forced by family member or husband to wear it, my answer is that it has nothing to do with the state to pose his nose into personal affairs of a couple or a family unless  a complaint against force is registered in any police station. If a complaint is filed by a woman being forced to wear it should be dealt on individual level just like other crime. There is no need to impose a ban on expression of faith in the country following few cases. The state or media has no locus standi to interfere in the affairs which have to be dealt within family. It seems as though government and media transcend their limit.
To us as Muslim man, the burqa/ niqab is a symbol of purity, modesty, simplicity and humility and this world is a place of gaining purity as much as we can by following the commandment of Allah the Almighty enshrined in the Quran and Hadith after being interpreted according to the comprehensive skill and our level of piousness (taqwa). Interpretations based on Taqwa may not be measured by logic and wisdom. The taqwa starts from Hijjab, chadar, niqab and ends at burqa. These different code of dress caused by different level of taqwa. some Muslims don't  ponder over Allah's commandment, but confined themselves to the interpretation of their respective Imams whose duty were to make Islam easier, simple and practicable for a man in the street.
So far as the burqa or niqab  as security issues is concerned, it may not be resolved by banning on it. The security agencies in the state have to take their responsibility and take no action against an individual and respectable citizen unless they investigate all the elements and diagnose the diseases  that pose threat to the security and find cogent evidences against the miscreant rather than expressing suspects for innocent people in view of different outlook. it is really ridiculous and they are making themselves laughing stock for us. Besides, the terrorists are not so gentle  who abide by all state's rules before blowing themselves up. To them banning on burka/niqab makes no difference. Suppose, if the terrorists use the military uniform of the state to attack at public places with bare face, would the state ban on military to wear it on duty?  Not at all! So the case of Muslim women is not exception.
Will banning on burka or niqab bring good change ?
First, controlling people by restricting them from practice of faith will create more rebellions and make them less loyal to the state and less concerned with its internal and external affairs. They will lose trust in system of justice of which every state feels pride. They feel deprived of equal rights to practise faith which estranges them from integration. By doing so,  some of  the western countries as named above are justifying similar brutal actions being blamed on ISIS, Al-qaida and Taliban. The restriction on women's freedom will definitely hinder the country from progress culturally and economically.
This is  Sahar Al-Faifi, who refuted all the negative narrative about full faced veil Muslim women by her actions. She is scientist, molecular geneticist, skydiver, social activist and what else she is not as woman. Yet, she looks so simple and humble in niqab. I watched many of her videos on niqab which compelled to share my thoughts on the subject matter.

IELTS Writing Task 2

Question: It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. What sort of punishment should be allowed to use to teach children?

It is the nature of humans to learn right and wrong from the environment so does a child who develops the sense of good and bad from what he sees. The force or any sort of physical punishment in inculcating him social norms and moral principles will lead him to either frustration or isolation from the society. At this tender age, the child needs as much attention and care as a plant does at its early stage.

It has been observed that most of the schools in Pakistan give corporal punishment to mend the behaviour of children, which demonstrates the incapability of profession teachers who are inducted after scrutiny of professional degrees in which they are trained how to handle the child without being given any punishment. Physical beating is, by no mean, convenient to develop and flourish his cognitive skill.

I am of the opinion that penalties like redoubling the home work or engaging him in constructive activities as form of punishment can make him him feel remorse for this bad behaviour while doing so he may also test the result as reward of good action. Besides, facial expression are also an appropriate  source of educating the children the distinction of right and wrong. Hence, it develops on how the children are being appreciated or discouraged. For instance, when the child is caught of stealing something, he must either scolded or express reluctance over this act.

In view of aforementioned facts which reveal that the children imitate the elders and senior citizen of the society. In order to build up constructive his personality in acceptance to the standard norms and principles, entire environment of home and schools need to revamped.

Is love blind?

Is love really blind?

Generally speaking, love is blind and when you fall in love with donkey, Hoor is nothing. It, therefore said so, because general people are unaware about the inner quality of this donkey. This donkey has spirit of sacrifices which distinguished her among other women. Hoor is void of spirit of sacrifices. It's spirit of sacrifices which Allah the Almighty loves the most. Otherwise, it would have been declared that no beautiful people will enter the Hell. As a matter of fact, a large amount of beauty will be seen in the Hell. Therefore, the love looks blind to those who see beauty by eyes while the lover sees it by heart. When I am asked who among seventy hoor is the best, I will ask for that hoor who is called donkey in earthly life, that donkey who used to prefer me to horses. :D

I just tried to solve an old issue. :)

To Whom It May Concern

Dear Members,

I, being so considerate, would like to say something to whom it may concern.

There have been more than six or seven hundreds personal messages in the inbox. I hardly replied to any personal message. I set a principle for online friendship and I strictly fellow my self set principle for more than seven years. There are 224 messages which I haven't read yet. For I have faced much frustration from members who directly or indirectly targeted me. I think I don't need to explain why I kept doing so.

However, I am extremely sorry for that and please forgive if you felt hurt.

Is This Adieu ?

It was a long time ago I joined this charismatic site, amazing people from different counties and unique sense of humour. That all was the reason which frequently used to drag me back and force me to apply my own hilarious sense not to make others laugh but to enjoy myself. With the passage of time, the environment in the site was changed from hilarious style to melancholy and then romance which was proven a great threat to the real purpose learning or practising English by fun without being scandalised or targeted. Notwithstanding all this facts, long patience didn't borne any fruit, rather making all possible efforts for drawing all the absent members went in vein.In addition to, our personal life has gradually been so fast that we hardly get time even to check our emails successively being received or notified, but when we managed to see online friends who were found much anxious to see our glimpse. Therefore, I decided not to keep my caring virtual friends waiting for me. I would like to intimate you all via this blog that hereafter I will disconnect all my virtual activities on EC in a week and will go on indefinite period of leave. One of the greatest activities I love to take part was discussion. I deliberately used to create warm in discussion by either asking cross question or replying aggressively. So, please pardon me if I intentionally or unintentionally hurt you in the meanwhile.

Signification of Holy Prophet's saying that both bribes taker and giver are gone in Hell. There are so many issues such as low standard of education, Environmental pollution, poor law & order situation etc which need to be addressed on top priority. The root of all these issues is corruption which is detriment to the treasury of government. There are many kinds of corruption which are interconnected to one another in Pakistan. I would like to reflect into few kinds of them which are made by the politicians, civil servants etc.As we all know that a nation is built up by the foundation of education whether modern or moral (religious) education, the education remained at the lowest in the scale of preferences during all previous governments.. Only 3% budget allocated which already does not meet the requirement is not spent for this purpose. Resultantly, all the other sectors are impaired due to incapable human resources which are produced by educational institutions. The incapable human resources are easily driven to the corruption as compared to the capable ones.Continued ............

A Bill Against Child Employment

The Sindh Assembly on Wednesday unanimously passed a bill against employment of children below the age of 14, named as The Sindh Prohibition of Employment of Children Bill, 2017 which carries up to six-months imprisonment and a fine up to Rs 50,000 for the offenders. And if a child is employed for a hazardous job, the prison term may be extended up to three years with Rs 100,000 fine.Apparently, the action by members of Sindh Assembly are appreciable but the reality is that the Sindh Government has no any Alternative solution to alleviate the poverty of its people or change the plight of their lives. The funds allocated for this purpose in the Budget is not accessible to the entitle. The members have taken such step to show off as if they are doing their job which erect further barriers for the poor who fight against the rapidly growing inflation. There are number of precedences in the history that the poor when failed to facilitate their child the basic rights such as healthy nutrition, cloths, let their child work. By doing so, the child not only support his family but to achieve his goals by carrying on his education. My question to the members is that if they take up the responsibility to cater basic need to every poor child. The steps taken is welcomed. The effect of this law in developed countries and underdeveloped countries varies. What's your opinion?

AG's Writing Challenge: Tell A Joke

A very thin man was married to a woman having bulky figure. He was so worried about how he would tackle such a giant wife. He consulted with his closed friend before a day in his (groom's) room. He (friend) pointed to a picture hanging on the wall in which a thin man climbed over an elephant commanding it to a certain direction and said, " you don't need physical strength to control your wife, but to use your brain". He might have a positive message for this groom. The next day, his friend was informed that the groom was hospitalized. He, at once, rushed to the hospital and asked, "what has happened with you?" He said, "in the morning I, as per your advice, climbed over my wife and commanded her to move to my office. He slightly pushed me with shyness and then I am taken here. :(
