Ooppss... I missed my pregnancy!

Like you all I am just a normal (don't dare to doubt it) human being and of course there are many things that get on my nerves. Let me share one of them, which makes me everytime I come acroos it little bit insane and is definately on my top ten list! Well... some days ago it happened again, when I was reading on the Internet a story of the woman from the USA - mom of three kids, who had strong pain, thought she suffered from the kidney stones, went to the hospital and... gave a birth! You know, at such a moment I feel like...

Whaaattt?!!!!!!!

As a mom of two kids, who was twice pregnant, I can just say... why do media feed us with such bullshits???!!! It might sound cool or unbelievable,  however to me it is like making idiots of people. Did you know that such situation ...when a woman is pregnant and has no idea about it has already been named? No, it isn't called like "first class stupid woman" but it is called "cryptic pregnancy". Cryptic - mysterious :D wooow!

So let's go briefly throug some main symptoms, which for all those women are something they easily overlooked or I have no idea, what they thought, when they experienced some of them...

1. Growing Belly
Logically in some obese women their growing belly is not that visible BUT... baby is moving and kicking inside, it can really hurt and it is something intense. One doctor said that obese women have too much fat in stomach to feel baby kicking or their placenta is placed in front side of stomach and that is why, they don't feel it. Ehmmm, ehmmm .. during my second pregnancy my placenta was placed also from the front side (which is a bit abnormal) and I felt all the kicks even more than before! As almost every woman I gained but still not that much to be called obese, however my belly wasn't anything I would overlook! I felt like mixture of the elephant and the whale but .....Oopss….. for some women something they just didn't notice.

2. No Period
Pregnant women are usually not on period, so almost all those „cryptic women“ stopped being on period for nine months and they just didn't realize something was wrong??? Some women might suffer from irregular period but not like it will come once a year! I guess every normal woman, who finds out her period is kinda late...goes and buys pregnancy test after some days and if not – they should see a doctor. Where is their responsibility for own health?

3. Morning Vomiting (Nausea)
What made me laugh was an argument of a doctor who said - it is normal that some women have such stomach problems that they don't pay attention to morning vomiting (nausea) WHAT????!!!! To overlook such symptom is really ridiculous to me and my brain again can't get somebody considers it totally normal.

4. All other symptoms
Pregnancy also comes with many other symptoms such as women suddenly start eating food they weren't able to put in mouth before. Some can notice that their sense of smell is much more better and that's why intense smell can make them feel sick and can become unbearable. You also might suffer from heartburn etc. According to those women something totally common...

To sum it up, I feel really like they are making fun of us. Either they are really so uneducated and have no idea about basic things or... they are just attention seekers, who want to become famous and media support them with pleasure because of their „unexpected experience“ they say they had no idea about… but do believe me many of them HAD IDEA :-D

Whispering Voice

It was fullmoon. Kate woke up in the middle of the night and felt a bit thirsty. She went to the kitchen and took a glass of water. Suddenly... she heard something. Firstly, she thought she was wrong but no, noo.. she heard it again. It was some whispering voice but she had no idea, where it was coming from. She was so scared that it took her some time to focus and realize that this whispering voice is in fact her own voice calling her name! Scared to death she was slowly following it when all of a sudden she found herself standing in front of the mirror. "Is this possible?" she asked with open mouth. She saw in the mirror a woman, who was 80 years old with wrinkled face, long grey hair whispering: "Kateeee, I am you and you are meeeeee, give me your hand and come to meeeee!" Kate was shaking with fear, felt so frightened that she couldn't say a word. In a while she started feeling something weird! Oh nooo! Her body was getting older and older second by second - her skin was shrinking; grey hair falling down and this woman was still whispering: "Kateeee, come to meeeee.....look what is going on with youuuuu.." It all went too fast...now Kate was almost at the age of her older version in the mirror. Time was flying and she had no other option than to take a risk and give her hand, otherwise she would soon die here!!! While she was about to give her hand, her inner voice said: "Noooo, don't do it!" Exhausted, terrified Kate got herself little bit together and with all her hatred, fear and frustration.... broke the mirror. She thought these were her last moments of life, she was sure this was the end.. however she was wrong because with broken mirror all this nightmare was gone. She didn't believe her eyes! She was again young and apart from the broken mirror and bleeding hand everything around turned back to the normal peaceful night. Later after treating her hand and relaxing little bit, she went back to her bed. After some minutes she heard whispering voice saying: "Sleep well, Kate!" Luckily.. it was her husband...OR NOT?

Creepy Clowns - fun or stupidity?

Jobless, single twenty four years old Dave from Manchester woke up with hangover as he was partying the whole previous night, better closed his eyes and started thinking… „What am I gonna do today? Just to roam with my mates, smoke weed? No, it is pretty boring. Ohhh, I almost forgot, my clown costume was delivered and it is waiting for me at the post office! Yeah, I will have some fun with it.!" Well, unfortunately there are many - sorry to say it - IDIOTS, who lately appeared wearing clown costumes and enjoy scaring people, including little kids. Creepy clowns with knives, chansaw, machette running after you and trying to catch you or just standing on the roads at night. Is this funny? Can you tell me, who can do this? The profile of a guy I intentionally described above match perfectly, don't you think so? I guess some people just forgot that every prank has its limits.

You know, some days ago my six years old son was at night totally frightened and didn't want to fall asleep. I came to him and asked him what happened? He said: Mom, one boy at school was telling us that there are clowns walking in the city, scaring and killing the kids. He saw it on TV it was in the news and I am so scared!!!" At this time I didn't know anything about this, so I told him: !Come on.. he just saw some movie and it wasnt anything real, ok?" What was my surprise, when I saw the very next day news with the headlines such as: Trend of the Killer Clowns came from the USA to Europe! Of course, they weren't behind my door, however I felt like what should I tell my son? Yesterday TV was on in the evening and suddenly in the news was something about the creepy clowns again! I changed the programme and told him: "It is a game people are playing nowadays and you know that Halloween is behind the door, it is part of it to play such games… " UFFF, somehow I managed it :-D

However, do you really think it is normal to come to park in clown costume with knife and start scaring people around??? The thing is that some clowns also attacked on people – and here all this fun is really over… We can't just count people, who were injured but what about all those scared kids, who might have really big trauma because of such incident? Unfortunately, this is not something what those, who wear Killer Clowns costume, would realize…

Marriage x Couples Living Together

You know today I wanted to answer Michael's question about marriage but suddenly it became a blog :D So here I am with my opinions on marriage and couples, who live together. Let me start with the statistics: in my country around 30% of the couples, who live together as a family with the kids aren't married and this number is growing year by year. Honestly? Kind of shocking to me that instituation of marriage stopped being respectful to many people and their arguments such as: wedding won't change anything, or there are many divorces around ...aren't anything convincing to me. I am conservative and my parents got married and are still married. My grandparents were also married. To live together without marriage - well honestly depends on people, how they are able to manage it, can sometimes cause the problems to the second one. As for me a wedding day is unforgottable day of life, when a couple prove their love in front of the family members, many relatives, friends etc. and they all enjoy this day .. day when two people decided to become publicly a wife and a husband. So you see, they did this all ceremony to show others, they really mean it and created by this all a special bond which made them connected to each other. This is commitment. On the contrarery not married couples have no commitment, they just can "more easily" leave each other without divorce and start again something new but this is tooo easy and irresponsible to live like this, nah? Many are afraid of sharing finance together or don't want to lose their independance, freedom but sincerely, if they have kids, I don't understand, what they are afraid of as they both have to take care of them. My another point is that as a married couple, we share the same surname, which makes us closer and which also share our kids. Of course, that kids must feel one day a bit confused, when they realize that the surname of mom differs from the surname of dad and will start thinking, why other kids at school share the same surname with both parents..Hard to explain to them, I guess. When we travel, go abroad etc. isn't it also more comfortable to introduce ourself as a married couple instead of two strangers with different surnames? What about economic situation... As a wife and a husband (at least in my country according to our law) everything we purchase during marriage is like 50:50 and it is strong point of marriage instituation because both build up something together and both become legal owners - fair enough, right? Whereas those, who are just couples can kick the second one and make of them easy peasy homeless person because usually one live in the apartment/house whose owner is the second one. If married people decide to separate, they should devide their property and if they can't do it, a court will play its role here. If a couple breaks up, who will devide what, who will prove that one invested more than the second one and how would one of them get money back? The fact is that marriage is here also to protect people from some economic crisis but unfortunately those who show off - they don't need it, might one day learn a lesson. You know, I work with law and I see many people, who regret they didn't get married but unfortunately, it is too late because the second one had already died and as a spouse they suddenly see they aren't at the position of wife/husband - no matter how long they lived together etc., which is pretty sad. So, in my opinion if we love somebody, want to spend life with them, build up something with them - we should definately marry them because if we are afraid of sharing money or want more freedom then it isn't such relationship we would call ... fated :)

Hello my friends and enemies,

firstly - thank you guys for participating in my previous challenge. I was really happy to read your funny blogs and see your interest in this kind of challenge! That's why it motivated me and I am again here to bother you! This evening I was thinking and thinking… long and hard about something, what would make us a bit closer as we are here in this "virtual world" and guess what? I got an IDEA! Well, I think it isn't anything complicated or some sort of really hard task.

Sooo…. give it a try and write a message, greeting for EC or its members or just something, what you would like to share but there is one little BUT :-D .... ehm how to say it not scare you? Ready? Ok, the thing is, you will have to use your paper and pen, pencil (you can also draw something etc. up to your creativity) then take a Picture, add the picture in your blog and post it with the title: Writing Challenge:  A Message written with my own hand.

Yeah own hand, not anything artifficial or hand of your friend, OK?!  Please remember, it isn't any competition, whose handwriting is the best, it is here just to make us closer and see each other handwriting, which might be kind of interesting… Are you up to it? :-p I am looking forward to waking up and reading at least one blog ;-)

Mata Hari - Female Spy

Today it has been 99 years since famous female spy known as Mata Hari was executed. Do you know anything about this woman? I think her life was interesting, so I decided to read about her more and more and would like to share with you her life story.

Honestly speaking ..I find her life a bit sad and I would say that her greedy character and naivity killed her. Anyway, let me start from the beginning. She was born in Netherlands and her original name was Margaretha Zelle. She was spoiled daughter of a successful businessman but later her dad went bankrupt, parents separated and after few months her mom died. Her father, whose financial situation wasn't good and who later remarried asked Mata Hari's godfather to take care of her. As an eighteen years old teenager she decided to try her good luck and answered one advertisement, she came across in the newspapers. Here we can already sense her nature - to get money and enjoy luxurious life was her goal. The advertisement was written by the Army Captain, who was searching for a wife. She succeeded and married this Colonial Captain, who was twenty years older but ... rich. However, her marriage wasn't happy. The couple had to move to Java island as he was colonial captain and she gave a birth to two kids there. It turned out her husband was more in love with the glass of alcohol and also enjoyed a company of other women. Mata Hari didn't hang her head and decided to live her life too and started her career - let's call it mistress career. After tragic death of her son, who was just five years old, couple with daughter went back to the Netherlands and as their marriage was totally in the ruins, they separated, later divorced. Mata Hari wanted to take care of her daughter but her husband didn't give her any money and once he simply decided not to return daughter to her. Mata Hari knew she had no chance to fight against him (luckily he was at least good father) and with broken heart left to Paris.

In Paris she started new episode of her life. Firstly she was dancing and later came up with something new – she became an exotic dancer on the basis of her experiences she got when she was abroad with her exhusband (India, Java etc.) and her success was unbelievable. She started calling herself Mata Hari (Eye of the dawn), travelled around Europe, even though her critics used to say she was just a cheap dancer, who can't dance and who is just full of exhibitionism. However, we all know men and I do believe that in this era – it was something they have never seen, so that is why this weird success. When her dancing career was almost over, she focused on something else – she became mistress of many important men such as the politicians, military officers or the commanders, which wasn't anything complicated for her – she knew five languages and was experienced in flirting and seducing.

Anyway World War I. was around the corner and when it started one German officer came to her with the plan. He asked her to provide Germany some important information since she was in the contact with many powerful men and offered her 20.000 francs. Mata Hari carelessly agreed and became a spy, which was another proof of her greedy nature and little bit naive imagination about what was expected from her. In fact she had no idea, she started playing with the fire. On the other hand France also asked her to come up with information about Germany. Suddenly Mata Hari became "double" spy!!! Something totally crazy and so risky but she didn't realize the situation she was in because enjoying her noble life was more important for her. The thing is..she didn't come up with important information she would share with Germany; they weren't even satisfied with her work BUT later when France came to know that she co-works with Germany, it was big tragedy. Afterall France had problems, lost battles and soldiars were on strike, which wasn't good situation and oopsss.. suddenly they caught somebody, who was considered spy! Without doubt France had to show the world that there was no place for any spy, no matter it wasn't even proved she was dangerous spy, who betrayed France. In the end they had almost no direct evidence against her and thanks to one lost battle they accused her of death of 50.000 soldiars. Mata Hari was sentenced to the death by firing squad and what is sort of interesting is that the trial itself wasn't even public.

"Brave" Mata Hari rejected a blindfold and on October 15th 1917 was executed. The last interesting fact… out of 12 bullets of 12 soldiars only three were found in her dead body…

Well.. I think her life was an interesting example of what greedy character in combination with low morals can cause. What do you think?

My today's unforgettable day

Today's day was for me something unforgettable. Firstly I got kinda not good  news from my doctor and then ... great idea popped up in my mind! Since we we have no idea, how long we will stay here on this weird planet, it is nice, if there would remain something after our death. Something, what others would like or appreciate. I love taking the pictures and this is definately one of my those efforts, however I also love writing and composing poems. Today in the evening I got a chance to compose an autumn poem in one forum for the teachers of the kindergartens. I just tried my luck and I have to admit, it made me feel so awesome.  Many teachers appreciated it and I didn't believe my eyes! To create something for the kids, to try think like they do, was nice experience and I hope, they will like it because as you know kids are the best sincere critics! Suddenly, I had like million ideas and didn't know, where to start! So, believe me that no matters, how badly your day can start, one nice try, effort can change it and not just the day but maybe also your view on life itself :)

Writing challenge: My funny story

While sitting under the palm tree, enjoying nice atmosphere...suddenly something hit my head! Firstly I thought it was some coconut but oh my goshhhhh... it was used diaper! Mom of a baby wasn't good at aiming because the bin was just one meter behind me... and guess what??!! Instead of something like: "Oooops, I am sorry..." she just got lost. When I raised my head full of excrements, which had to look cool in combination with my red lipstick, suddenly a jogging guy stopped in front of me, started laughing loudly and then.. yes then he asked me to go out with him and enjoy dancing class. Woow - it was samba night and since I love latino music.. I said: "Yesss!" Later in the evening I was preparing myself for the night. At 8pm he was there in front of my house wearing special latino costume...andddd... NO! Oh myyyyyyy Good! His chest was so hairy that I said NO, NOT LIKE THIS! We have to do something with it! I dragged him inside of my house and decided to try my wax! :D After few minutes I couldn't see his fear in eyes because it got on my nerves! I had great idea.. I gave him sleeping pills to feel more relaxed and it really helped because he stopped screaming as if I was murdering him!! Anyway, grrrr in one hour when his chest was without a single hair... I went for my phone to call Taxi and when I came back to my living room.. I saw his "dead body" on the sofa snoaring so loudly that I didn't know, if I should really kill him!P.S. Let me just add that as an author of this challenge I came up with these 8 words but created this story right now after many hours like you all ;) So the story wasn't the first one - that is my point...

It is time to take another trip with me, guys! So I hope you are ready. Just start attentively reading, vividly imagining to absorb the atmosphere and enjoy Vienna with me!!! Let me be your guide and let's explore Austrian metropolis together. Some weeks ago I decided to spend the weekend in Vienna with my husband, to see all this historical beauty and also to relax in the city, which was awarded many times in the row as one of the best cities for living. I wonder, why I don't live there because it is just 3-4 hours by car from my place, however yeah... I can't have everything, what is awesome and besides I am not big fan of German language :)

Let me for a while bother you with some facts. You know, Vienna used to be very important city in the past because it was the seat of the Habsuburg monarchy (Empire), which controlled many European countries (approximately 18) and was very, very rich and that's why you can feel history everywhere in the air. Another plus point for this city was the position, which is pretty good - right in the center of Europe. You can use here easily public transportation, which is for sightseeings the best option. We started our Vienna "little walk" close to the Cityhall, which is kind of historical building, however here Austrians kind of play with us because the building is just from 19th century, even though it looks thanks to its architectural style older. The flowers make the building more magnificent and for your information in German language they call it Rathaus. (btw grrr I couldn't take the picture from the front side because in the front area was "parking" some stupid CIRCUS!)

Then when you walk deeper and deeper (like Madonna :-D) you can start admiring local theatre building called Burgtheater and Royal garden behind it. If you just close your eyes, you can imagine ladies wearing their beautiful and a bit heavy dresses and walking with ease in this garden or the noble couples arriving to the theater and getting off the horse carriage.

As for horses, let me add that the whole atmosphere of your visit is more impressive especially when you see horse-drawn carriages passing by and you can hear all the time clopping of horseshoes!

The main imposing building is of course Hofburg, which is the Royal palace (castle). The line of the tourists dying to see all those unforgottable imperial apartments, exhibition of the plates and cutlery, dresses they used to wear and… woow this all with the audioguide in I would say every langauage you would remember! Unfortunately, it was forbidden to take the pictures in the imperial apartments, so if you are interested, you can of course google it to have some little awareness (just type Hofburg, Imperial Apartments)

Believe me that after visit of Hofburg, you will feel like you wish to die soon because your legs will be pretty tired. It is high time to sit for a while and take local cake – Sachertorte (chocolate cake with appricot jam) and coffee, however I need to explore more and more, so that's why we continue with my husband our walk to the Stephansdom, which is one of the Viena symbols. This huge cathedral in Gothic style is really outstanding architectonic masterpiece. When you stand inside, you feel so small, so obbedient that it is really hard to describe. Some places simply give you very strong impressions and I have to admit this place gave me a lot.

What should we see more? What about something scary? Yes! Royal tombs! In one place you can see here so many Habsburg tombs, including well-known kings and queens, even Maria Theresia. Anyway, I wouldn't sleep there at all… yeah, I guess, I would get mad in such place at night after three minutes :D

To finish my blog with some zombie thoughs? No way! Here is the most beautiful place I love in Vienna and it is Schönbrunn castle, which used to be Habsburg's summer residence. It is a very large park with so many flowers, something breathtaking and the castle itself inside is also unique. Exactly the best place ever for the fairy tales, right?

Well, my tour around Vienna is over and I hope you enjoyed it little bit and saw something interesting because this was point of my this travel blog. Thank you for reading me and I would love to read your travel blogs here too ;-)

Strange couples or I am weirdo?!!!

Have you noticed some people around you have uncontrolable, urgent need to brag about their relationships on Facebook, Twitter or other social media?  Unfortunately, I came across something like this lately twice, so I decided to share it with you and would like to read your opinions on this topic :)It is natural to feel like we want to show the whole world that we are in love and feel proud of our partner etc. because at the beggining love is cool and we can't control it...yeah that's excuse for those, who are in this stadium of insanity and flood their pages with several pictures, comments etc. Anyway, this is not my point. I have observed there are also couples, who feel like they want to show others they have awesome relationship full of love, desire, understanding after some years...no matter, if they are married or not. One classmate of mine shares often on Facebook her activities and when I see among the comments dialogues between her hubby and her such as: "Ohhh my darling, I know you are the best" then reply: "Ohh baby don't talk like this, I am happy to have you, you are the best thing that happened to me." I feel like some "lamp", who reads the conversation of two people but..nothing for my eyes! Do you think it is normal or it should be just something private they should share, when they are alone? Another example was little bit different. My another friend posted on Facebook status like: "Well, I am just enjoying incredible moments with my boyfriend, we are drinking wine and spending nice time together." When I saw it, I don't know why but I was like: "Whaaaaat????!!" Honestly, tell me, who has time while enjoying nice moments to think about some stupid Facebook??? :D After a while I started thinking about such people, why they behave like this and on my mind were just two options.. either it is nature of such couple to prove others their life is awesome (but who the hell cares or compete?) or they need such bragging style to make their weak relationships stronger. Do you also know such people or I am just weird psycho and see the things, which are maybe for others ok?

Expector's blog challenge: Its x It's

It's nice feeling to be back to EC and see all these "old, crazy faces" around :D To realize this place has still its special atmosphere and lives its own life, no matter if it's with or without me. Heart of EC is beating and its pulse is time to time high, which is always exciting. In fact, it's cool to watch its members exchanging opinions or fighting...but then ...after some time..it slows down, turns back to normal and breathe again slowly, sometimes it's too slow that people might consider it a bit boring. However, it's about its members because only they can make EC face smiling or sad, awesome or bad. So remember.. it's here for everybody, it's for free and it's place, where you can learn even unwillingly something new. It's just all up to you!

Let me invite you to Croatia :-)

Hi guys,

here I am with my controversial blog about … Croatia :-D I am sure Evangelina will be happy about it! ;-) So my question is: "Have you ever heard of Croatia? No?" Ohhhhh… so let me little bit introduce you this Mediterranean (blee.. terrible word!) country, since I spent there incredible holidays with my family. Wait, wait… I hope you are not searching it now.. ehmm.. somewhere in Asia or Africa! If yes.. then you better don't read more! :-D Croatia is situated in the southern Europe and it took us some hours to get there from the Czech republic by car. "Some hours" means, if I sum it up around 16 hours (1.100 km) :-D This distance might seem too much but in general Croatia is called Czech sea and it is very popular among people in my country, so we don't consider it long journey. However, traveling with the kids isn't that easy, so we decided to stay one night half way in the northern part of Croatia and it wasn't bad idea at all. We saw also inland villages that aren't so shiny and beautiful like those by the sea, places where people are alive just thanx to the agriculture. Places, where night is super duper dark that you are just wondering, if you became blind or not.

Anyway, this country has kind of various climate because of the mixture air of the inland mountains and the mediterranean sea. As for this damn climate, I have to point out, it played with us little bit, when we were on our journey because we were so lucky and experienced very strong wind called BORA, which comes from the mountains to the sea and sometimes brings heavy storms. Believe it or not but because of this silly wind max. speed on the highway was reduced to 40 km/h :-D Luckily it wasn't long distance but it felt like our car would soon turn to plane and we would simply fly away... actually not bad idea... we would ge there earlier :-)

So, finally we turned from the highway to Makarska riviera, which was our destination and… ooppss.. it welcomed us with cloudy, later rainy weather. I didn't believe my eyes!

You know, south of Croatia was always known for its settled weather, so what the hell was going on here???! We were close to our destination - city and I felt for a while, it was getting warmer, so I said to my husband: 'Pfff.. you see? It is getting warmer, at least something!“ And he just replied: „ Yeah, it is warmer because I turned on central heating in the car… it is 17 degrees outside.“ Oh my goooshhh, I had to laugh and cry! Such a long distance we have traveled to spend holiday by the sea and it was raining! We arrived to our apartment and the owner was really nice because he helped us with the kids and even came with umbrella. My mood reached the first stadium of depression and I started googling the weather forecasts but... guess what? They all showed that it was 30 degrees and sunny! I felt like telling all those websites… GO TO HELLLLL!!!!! So guys, one important thing: Don't rely on the weather forecasts because they are lately playing tricky game with us :-D

The very next morning when I woke up, I saw cloudy sky BUT it wasn't raining, which was sort of awesome news. We took breakfast on the balcony and decided to explore our little city – Igrane. Kids were happy to throw the stones into the sea (ehm... where was nobody because of the weather ), we took walk to the steep hill to visit the local church, the tower and enjoyed the nice view...

Oh yeahh… I started feeling better and weather decided to be better too :-) In the afternoon we went for a trip to the Blue and Red lake, which was really amazing experience. Ruin of the castle on the top, lake itself with such beautiful color…In fact, it is hard to describe and one must really see such beauty.

Finally, we could have spent another day on the beach and kids enjoyed it so much that even I was surprised. As you can see, there are not sandy beaches in Croatia and I was little bit worried, if they can enjoy those pebbles but they didn't care, they would just love to spend all the time in the water even with purple lips and shaking teeth :-D Hopefully, weather was better and better so we enjoyed time on the beaches in our city or in the close bays, we were just relaxing and having fun.. BUT..

Yeah it wouldn't be me, I just can't only spend the whole holiday on the beach – I would die! So we decided to take another trip to the historical city called TROGIR. I have to admit this city has its own magic and history was just around each corner. Old smaller streets, beautiful squares with cafe, restuarants, palm promenade, historical fort... In short it was worth visiting and I would spend even more time there.. Maybe next time :-)

Time was flying too fast that it was end of our holidays in Croatia, however on our way back, we decided to make one more trip to Plitvice lakes – place where movie about Vinnetoo was shot. Guess, you are too young to know this movie but if you see this nature with waterfalls, turquoise water, where you can watch every fish, you will feel like in the paradise.. yeah it is really nice in the pictures, right? :-D you dont see those hundreds of people passing by but that is the art of the great photographer :-D So next time... only out of season and early in the morning :-)

Honestly speaking… looking back after some weeks I can just say…Croatia, next time don't play with me, especially as for your weather but I am definately back there next year because I did fell in love with your crystal sea water, rocky mountains, smell of pine trees in the air, local food – especially fish, sound of the cicadas and tasty wine…

P.S. If you are interested, I can add some more pictures here on MyEC.

Real woman - not some locked slave

Once upon a time somewhere in the western world existed women, who were independent, had own rights and could do whatever they wanted to do. Fairytale? No! This is reality of the world where I live, reality I would like to share with you :) In fact, I am pretty sure that my life is more hectic in comparison to woman, who doesn't work and sit the whole life at home and feel blessed that she is here for her family. As for me I am able to take care of two kids, to work five days a week, to take care of household -cook, bake, wash clothes, do ironing, clean this mess here etc., to meet family members, also friends time to time and to have fun and go for the trips at the weekends. Let me add that I have no baby-sitter and I have to organize everything by myself. Honestly speaking, I can't imagine myself the whole life staying home, just to cook, clean the mirror five times a day and when kids grow up...grrr...then I would literally die of boredom and stereotype. I also can't imagine my life without traveling, going for holidays, no matter if to the mountains or to the sea. This is how I live my life- to be good mom, to see something, to have fun with family, to be useful for the society I live in and to feel free like a bird. I can't imagine myself without all this freedom! It is something absolutely common that I can go out, whenever I want without asking for permission, I can travel alone, I can wear what I want and it is just my personal thing, I can make decissions alone without asking my parents or husband, I can marry whom I chose to marry, I can show my kids that world isn't just our block of apartments but out there, far away from our city, I can .... breatheeeee :)

Blog challenge: Discourse markers

On one hand it is really great to get here on My EC an opportunity to express yourself but on the other hand it is pretty risky, especially if you are a part of minority with different opinions.  Besides being less popular, some people might even ignore you, which is pretty sad. I guess, we differ as for our thinking, life opinions, however we should be able to discuss the things without being too involved. Actually, this is the point of freedom - to express yourself and to be able to tolerate others with different opinions, thinking, life style etc. So, let's kill narrow-minded attitude,  let's try to understand each other without stupid prejudice and ignoration, just because some of the opinions differ... Are you up to it?

My dear criminal,
I hope you got the oranges I sent you last week and didn't share them with anybody because in each of them was a little "surprise". You know, I am doing my best to be nice wife and that's why I decided to send you my first letter after 10 years you have already spent in that one federal prison. Time is flying, right? It feels like yesterday, when we had this terrible night fight in our house during which you did your best to kill me. I am smiling, when I remember you chasing me with the knife as if you were insane and me running upstairs like all those blond chicks in horror movies. Unfortunately, you had no idea that my ex-lover policeman was at that time hidden in our bedroom. It wasn't twice smart of you to come earlier from work and immediately start suspecting on me. What a bad luck you had, my dear criminal. You were caught with the knife in hand trying to kill me and arrested by a half-naked policeman. Cute, right? I was so lucky not to choose a barman as a lover!

Anyway, like Justin Timberlake sings: "What goes around... comes back around" I have to admit, that it is sooo true. I got punished so many times! Last time yesterday in the hall when your picture fell down from the wall and hit my head! Would you believe that? Next time I won't hang the pictures and portraits so high. However, believe it or not, I take it like I have to pay for all the bad things I have done. You know, I miss you here so bad... your empty bottles of whisky, stinky socks on the floor, all those disgusting dinners you cooked with love for me. My heart melted, when I went through our wedding album today. You, wearing that one old-fashioned suit and me with blue hair and tattoo on my arm.
So, my dear criminal, enjoy it there and if you have a chance, try somehow to escape from there but firstly better inform me, so that I would be ready for your killing come back!

        Love,
                   Luci

Tick... tock, tic... tac

Tick.... tock, tic..... tac, second by second, minute by minute turning into the past. You can't stop it, you can't change it. Either you are passively watching some sequences of your life or you are just enjoying your happy moments on the maximum. It is up to you, up to your attitude, percieving the reality, way of thinking. It is up to you, how you have decided to use the most precious thing you were given - your time...

Time is actually like an awesome magician, who can change your life upside down by one Abracadabra. Just one second and you might become the happiest parent holding your newborn baby, just one second, when you see the result of the exam with the grade F. Just one second, when they call you and announce you somebody closed passed away. Just one second, when you sa YES to your partner forever.

Sometimes we may catch ourself realizing that time goes suddenly so fast or slow. How come? Of course that if we go through the unbearable pain, we percieve every second like an hour but sometimes we just wonder, how come that the same time period is longer than it was yesterday. Isn't it weird? Such things of course might force us to ask – What if there is no time?

As we know in the past people decided to meassure time, to make the things more understandable, to explain many physical laws and to make some order. I bet that in the stone age millions of the years ago people didn't care, if they woke up at 8am or 10am :-D They just knew that day follows the night and later they started with some primitive callendars.

The thing is that we are taught from the early age to understand the reality like.. time is flowing forward to the future – to the some point. Anyway, when did the time started existing and since it has started when it might end? We believe we were given time but it might be just process of our human body, which cause that something evolves from the point of the birth to the death. Getting older doesn't need to mean that this is the result of time, it might be just the result of this process we all are going through. Mind blowing, right? In fact, the scientists came up with the theory that time doesn't exist, which was sort of based on the Einstein's theory of relativity but also they were trying to understand, what is this NOW we are living in and why we are not able to move back to the past, to the something, what has already happened. When I read about it, it made me so confused that I almost forgot, if I live now or in the future :D Anyway, if one day somebody breaks the speed of the light, maybe then we will be smarter...

... and now let me add few TIME IDIOMS:

Work against the clock – to work really hard with knowing that you lack time or there is deadline.

We worked against the clock on our project because on Monday our boss will check it.

Lose track of time – to be so interested in something that you forgot about what is going on – to forget the time.

She was studying so hard that she lost all track of time.

Keep up with the times – to be updated, modern.

My mom bought recently tablet to keep up with the times. (poor dad) :D

Take your time - guess you all know it, dear chatters :-) - to give time to the sb to do their stuff in the peace :-)

Take your time, Johny! Don't finish your lunch in two minutes as usual!

Proud mom

Yesterday was a big day of my son! As a proud mom I would like to share it here with you, guys. He is six years old and attends the last year of the kindergarten. It was a performance of his class - someting like a mini show with a programme. They have prepared it for months as I know. All the class was singing, dancing, half of the songs were in English! In fact I had no idea he knows such songs because main singer of our family is my three years old daughter. Anyway, everything went smoothly and I have to admit kids had to work really hard on it. What got me the most was the end of their performance. Each kid gave a gift to their mom. Of course, it was a surprise, so I had no clue what was it. Believe it or not but these were two things kids made by own hands and when I saw it, I was so touched that even somebody like me had tears in eyes! Can you imagine it? :D

Well..as you can see in the photo one gift is a paper card with a picture of mom  inside (I wonder, why I look so pretty there) Ehm.. yeah he still can draw better than me! Second gift is a heart necklace made of the plaster with the fingerprint of him. You know what? I was so proud that today I went to work wearing his heart necklace and felt so awesome!
