    Hi Ed,
    I never do tyúklábpörkörkölt or whatever in my kitchen,so I don't know how to prepare them,I just want to share here my own recipes,as other members do too.
    For me traditional Hungarian is gulyás,what I often use to make,as far as possible in the open air,in a stew-pot,it's the best.
    I'm sorry,but I have to tell you that I detest pacalpörkölt....mdrrrrr....Smiley

    NOT TRADITIONAL at all???? This is what they tell me. How do I know them? Well, I travel a lot and tend to taste the local cuisine.

    I'm sorry,but I never do these dishes,so you have to consult a cookbook,I'm afraid....and one more thing,they are NOT TRADITIONAL at all....:p

    wow,all of your pictures give envy to visit arab countries to taste it.
    I like Maroccan couscous too,as fillefrancaise,and all of your sweets.
    I'll be very happy if you'd send the description of those foods,how to prepare them.

    yes yes yes they r fille.
    pic number 1.Cheese or spinach pasta
    2.kobba..and this with meat soooo delicious
    3.Manssaf=rice +meat=Yogurt(i think this is not thr right word for yogurt i dont no how i can say it) and decorated with almonds, pine.

    4.mmmm this is soo delicious too Arabs like it so much
    this is courgette with Grape Leaves.

    5.and this if u tasted ,u will like it so much especially for those who dont like to be fat its soo deliciuos .....its Taboola =fresh vegetables.

    6.some various of pastry.
    so wat do u think..i advice u to come and visit Arabs' country to taste these food or go to any resturant of Arab and order them.
    or come to my home i invite u all to do these for u ...love u .

Root crops challenge

These all grow underground and are used in many recipes. See if you can name them in English and then tell us how you like to prepare them, if you wish.The orange ones on the left are common in most countries.  Those in the center are sometimes cooked along with their leaves (or greens).  Both parts are good to eat.Those on the right are not as easy to see in the photo, but are very red, even on the inside.
