In our busy schedule it's really difficult to go to all friends' pages to greet them...I add this blog because I always miss them and want to greet them even if I'm busy...but it's not worrying I'll be here always to entertain you all with my blogs and comments as much as I can and the main thing is that EC is just like my second home I can't go out from here for long time and it's my English class too, from where I'm learning English.
You are all family of my second home...I wish you'll try your best to see comments for you all here and will leave your own. Even we can make this just like a chat room and can communicate with family members here...
You all are members who always encourage me to keep doing...
I know it is virtual... which can not be touched... But, can be felt.

U Make Me
You make me laugh when I want to cry, Make me live when I want to die, Make me smile when I want to frown, You turn my life upside down. Believe in me when no one else does You’re my now, my is.... When you call my name I begin to blush, I'm afraid people notice I need you so much. When I'm with you time flies by fast. It's like the present is the past. I need you more than you can believe, Love you more than you can conceive. Think about you every night and day And hope my life can stay this way I don't want it to be any other way.
Leaders ,trains and Doctors never come on time in India.
Here, I want to talk about doctors. It is an old proverb in India that "Doctor is the second God on this Earth" , and this second God check their patient with their full patience. Doctors working in government hospitals taking full advantage of their job and position, how can they lag behind in compression with other government employees in other departments. "Not to work properly and to be late as much as they can they need in their fundamental right of a typical government employee". But here I am talking about the second God. Usually they don't appear on time in front of their patient. No matter it is a government hospital or private hospital. Yes, even in private hospitals and nursing home doctors found coming late to their O.P.D timing. Its bitter but fact (Indians, isn't it ?). In general private hospitals patient are charges more than Rs:100 to 200 consultancy fee and emergency fee more than Rs: 250 to 300. Whether doctors come one or two hours late form their O.P.D timing but they will charge emergency chargers if patients comes 15 minute late after O.P.D timing. It’s bizarre that a common men who fight for one or two rupee with rickshaw puller or vegetable vendor never utter a word in front of a doctor ,because God can do everything. So if you have any disease, just leave your money and your life in hands of second God and everything thing is upon him , how will he treat you.
1 USD= 49.17 INR (What is the salary of a general manual labor who flow their sweat more than 8 hours a day ? It's something around than Rs: 80 - 90) or more.
For dangerous diseases one must have to go to a big hospital where all kinds of medically necessary equipments and good doctors are found and what is the charges in big hospitals...??? It's not much for well-heeled people, it's around more than Rs:3000 - 5000 per day ( including all charges, except medicine ) which takes time to earn that much money for a lower class family.
Sorry !!! It's the reality in my country, my way is not to insult this great position and I'm with this old prover: Yes, doctors are the second God on this Earth.
My dear EC teachers/friends...what about your country ??? I don't think something same in your country ???
"Doctor is the second God on this Earth"are you with or against of this proverb ?
May the God always bless all the doctors on this Earth!!!
Chhath Puja is celebrated in Jharkhand, UP and Bihar (India) and where ever people from those regions have migrated.
Many festivals are celebrated by the Hindus of these region, but this festival is a unique festival in these region. Chhath is dedicated to the worship of the "Sun God" and therefore, this festival is also known as "Surya Shashti". Chhath Puja is celebrated as thanks to the Sun for providing the necessities of life on earth, and also for fulfilling particular wishes.
It is believed that the wishes of the devotees are always granted. Also the devotees dread the punishment for any misdeed during this Puja. Therefore, the area remains safe and peace during this time when even criminals prefer to behave.
The Days Of Festivity:
First Day: The devotees bath in the holy river Ganges to wash away their sins (People far from river Ganges go to their local river or pond) . They also clean their homes thoroughly. Second Day: The devotees observe a fast for the whole day, which is broken in late evening, after performing the Puja at home. They offer kheer (rice pudding) and fruit to God and then share it with family and friends. Third Day: The day is spent preparing the offerings(Prasad) at home. In the evening the devotees and all family go to a riverbank or pond where the prasad is offered to the setting sun. The devotees return home for another colorful celebration. Under a canopy of sugar cane sticks, they place clay elephants containing diyas (earthen lamps) and baskets filled with prasad. Agni(fire god)is worshipped. Fourth Day: On the final day of the festivities the devotees and family go to the riverbank. Prasad is offered to the rising sun. The devotees break their fast and the prasad is shared with all the people around.
All nearby people gathered around the riverside to watch the activities. After Puja prasad distributed among all the people, prasad also celebrated to friends' home, relatives home and neighbor home.

Hello my dear EC teachers and friends. We are all here in EC not only to practice and learn English, but to know other's cultures, festivals and many more. We talk to people around the world over skype and other VOIP.
Here I want you to share with me collecting some English accents from many different countries. So please take a few minutes for this and record your voice here.
Hope to see more and more accents from all over the world.
What we can record ? So, let's tell something about ourselves or choose something to read and record it.
Record about yourself or you can record this:
Language is all around You
Everywhere you go you find language. Shop names, street names, advertisements, notices on buses and trains... Even if you are not in an English-speaking country, there are often a lot of English words you can see when walking in the street, especially in big cities. And there are always numbers. Car numbers, telephone numbers, house numbers... How can this help you? When you walk down the street, practise reading the words and numbers that you see. Say them to yourself. It's not exactly a conversation, but it will help you to "think" in English. For example, if you walk along a line of parked cars, say the number on each car quickly as you pass it. Test yourself, to see how fast you can walk and still say each number. But don't speak too loud!
"Saying sorry saves your life" a blog by my dear friend Mukesh. Thanks a lot my darling for this nice blog. Everyone should follow this. Sure,"Saying sorry doesn't change our past but it can change the future". By the way I'm not here for describing your blog but for using for golden word "Sorry" so, let me say sorry.
Before few days ago I had a chat with one of my friend. Oh, really, I madeher sad. I don't know why some words came in my mind which made her sad.Now she is angry with me but lol... I can say she still like me and willbe back soon to chat with me. Oh, really, I love her.
So sorry my dear friend please forget that, now, I'll try my best to neveruse such words again. I'm really so sorry...andnow, I am with hope you'll forgive me soon and will be back soon.
To all my EC teachers and friends.
Sorry to all of you if till now any of my words, you didn't like or hurtyou. I'm here not only for learning English but also for learning mannersand many more things from you all. I never like to use some bad words whichyou don't like or should not be use for polite conversation but may bebecause of I'm not very good in English so, it comes out.
Thanks a million to all EC teachers and friends I learnt many things fromyou all and I will. Please keep me correcting everywhere...
A special sorry to my dear sister Anele. Why ? May be, you could remember one of mycard on your page.
Hello my dear EC teachers and friends. This is me Rajesh one of your EC friend/student/younger and this time I really need your help, like you have been doing for me.
What happened to me ?
May be you would have read my blog "Durga Puja, A big festival of India". I had this festival and Ihad a long holiday. I enjoyed my festival a lot, with my friends.
Today after three weeks, I had my class. I mostly try to speak in English in my class buttoday while talking to my teacher and friends, I spoke in English but I don't know why I wasfeeling lack of confidence ? When I gave a glance towards my speaking, first of all,I tried to convince myself and saycome on Rajesh come on...although that was a successful try and I kept talkingwith them in English until or unless they did. But, after coming back my home I felt verysad and this was the first time for me when I'm feeling lack of confidence while in my Englishlearning life. I really don't know but I couldn't stop my tears in this situations. Is it a humannature ? or what ? I always try my best to make others speak in English. But.. Why did it happen with me ? Does it happen to all while learning the language? What should one do if one feels, lack of confidence while English learning ?
You all are more than thank you always my dear EC teachers and friends.
Durga Puja is an annual Bengali festival that celebrates worship of Hindu goddess Durga. It includes the worships of Shiva, Lakshmi, Ganesha, Saraswati, Kartikeya and Mahishasura also. Modern tradition have come to include the display of decorated pandals and artistically depicted idols of Durga exchange of Bijoya Greetings and publication of Puja Annuals.
The dates of Durga Puja celebrations are set according to traditional Hindu calendar and the fortnight corresponding the festival is called Debi Pokkho. Debi Pokkho is preceded by Mahalaya and is ended on Kojagori Lokkhi Puja.Durga Puja is widely celebrated in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and Tripura where it is a five-day annual holiday. Not only it is the biggest Hindu festival celebrated throughout the State, but also the most significant socio-cultural event in Bengali society. Nowadays, many non-residential Bengali cultural organizations arrange for Durgotsab in the countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Kuwait etc.
Nine days worship in this Puja is called Navaratri.
The word Navaratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit, nava meaning nine and ratri meaningnights. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are worshiped. The 10th day is commonly referred to as Vijayadashami or Dussehra.
In the 9 nights of Navratris: the first 3 are dedicated to mother Durga (consort of the anhilator Lord Shiva) as shakti herself is life giving thru health-and-strength;
the next 3 are dedicated to mother Laxmi (consort of the preserver Lord Vishnu) as the provider of riches for once we have strength we need material wealth;
and the last 3 are dedicated to mother Saraswati (consort of the creator Lord Brahma) as the provider of wisdom to use the strength and the wealth wisely for the benefit of all.

Tags:Real-Dialogue, Real-Dialogue-September
This is a dialogue about asking and giving directions. I took this conversation from my book. In this dialogue there are three characters Joj, Smith and Neighbour. You can write <your name> as <character> in this dialogue I couldn't find two others character so I am as all three Joj, Smith and Neighbour. I hope we could find partner for doing this from our group.
Asking and giving directions
Joj: Excuse me, pleas.
Smith: Yes please?
Joj: I'm looking for Mr. R K Singh. He lives around here somewhere. Can you help me find his house, please?
Smith: Mr. Singh? What does he do?
Joj: He's a teacher. He gives private tuition in Physics.
Smith: Well, there is one teacher living nearby; but I'm not sure of his name or what subject he teaches. He lives over in that direction.
Smith: Have you got his address?
Joj: Let me check. I should have it here. Here it is. He lives near Ram Ratan Hospital, Rampur Road.
Smith: Oh! I know the house. It must be the same person I'm thinking of. Okay. You go 100 meters along this road, and then turn left. Walk along that road for about two minutes and the sixth building in the street off the main road is his. You should find his name on the wall.
Joj: Thanks. I'm sure I'll be able to fine the house easily.
Joj reaches the address and presses the doorbell, but there is no answer. The doors are locked and the windows are all shut. Standing in front of the door he looks around and as he turns to go back, a person, presumably a neighbor from the adjoining house comes out.
Neighbour: Hi. Who are you looking for?
Joj: I'm looking for Mr. R K Singh but there is no answer and everything is locked up. Isn't he here now?
Neighbour: No, he isn't staying here any longer.
Joj: Oh! I don't suppose you know where he has moved to, do you?
Neighbour: Can I ask what your name is and why you are looking for him?
Joj: Oh, sure. I'm Joj from Madhubani. I'm an old friend of Mr. R K Singh. I didn't know he was planning to move out and his phone is not working either.
Neighbour: Ok Joj. Mr. Singh was here until the day before yesterday. All of a sudden, a week ago, the owner of the house came back from America and had nowhere to live. So, he had to stay in a hotel for a week.
Joj: That's sad.
Neighbour: Anyway, knowing the plight of the owner, Mr. Singh started looking for another house. Luckily, he managed to find one and moved out immediately. The owner will be moving in today.
Joj: What about Mr. Singh? Do you know where he has moved to?
Neighbour: Oh yes. He has rented a flat in the Vishal Apartments nearby.
Joj: Ok. I know where it is. Thank you.

Hi my dear EC friends, I hope you know about "email fraud" and "spamming" very well. How ever I'd like to share what happenedwith me.
I'm writing in my own way, because I have deleted that junk mails before.
Mail was something like that:-
My name is Stella. I'm a 21 years old girl. I show your profile and hopped from you. My father was in police and killedbefore 2 years ago. He left 40 million bank balance by my name. My step mother wants to kill me to obtained all myproperty, once she tried to smother me to gain all property's papers. Now I'm staying in a church far from my stepmother.I talked with my bank manager, he told, I need a foreigner partner to access my account balance. So, I hope you'll help me.15% of total amount will be yours. And we can spread business from my money in your country. Please send me your details, Iwill send you my photos and details in next email......
That time I was very new with such scams and I replied her with "Sorry I could not help you contact others". I didn't know where did she get my email id from, where she has mentioned "I show your profile". I was not a member of EC that time.
But again see send me another mail with some girl's photos and bank details.
She mentioned her:
Address with contact number. Details of her bank with account no and manager's contact number and told me to contact her manager to take informationabout her account and procedure to become her foreign account partner to access her money.
She asked me:
My contact details with bank account details.
When I read her 2nd email, I felt something going wrong and I searched on google about her bank address and I found, a bank was existed with same address, again I serched with some other content of her mail and I found it is fraud mail and it is knowing as "419" Scam. Now, I have known about such scam very well.
Now a days we can see many such fraud mails, messages, many notification on internet. We should never reply to such scam, they all are fraud.
