If I could invite someone to a dinner, I would invite Frabice Brégier, the current president and CEO (chief executive officer) of Airbus, one of the biggest aircraft manufacturers present on the marketplace.
I've always loved planes and admired the Airbus machines, so, no one better to ask out for even to a brief conversation about the general working of this powerful company than such a representative guest like that.
I'm not sure about what I would serve at the dinner table for an aviation businessman like Fabrice is, but, I think it could be a meal that most people would taste without hesitation, that is, a food acceptable for everyone in any situation,whether formal or not the meeting. Of course, I would check the most appropiate menu for that occasion with a good chef, so that the chances I can make a faux pas are smaller.Personally, I'd like that was served a light food, with plenty of vegetables along with little greasy foods.
I would prepare my home's main table putting the best silver flatware I have ,and good cups too, in case the guest wants to drink a bit of wine and everything necessary the etiquette rules ask us to do for our guests at table.
I think I would bring to my dinner aviation fans, in order to enhance the conversation with relevant questions about the company's life, maybe I would open a contest on the Internet to choose two or three participants to take part.
I would record (with allowance of my guest, for certain) the conversation so that I could post in my personal pages on the Web, and, I can even inaugurate a blog about aviation starting with the divulgation of that conversation.
I would ask sir Fabrice about how's to manage Airbus in a daily basis, what are his main duties everyday inside the company, what he expects to reach in the future and if somewhere in the past he dreamed about to come where he is nowadays. These would be just a few questions to ask him, I would prefer to elaborate a previous set of questions so that I was really ready for the conversation.
