  Thank for correcting my message, Tanya. It's really helpful for my skills. But i really don't understand why i can't use "mother tongue" instead of " first language" . I just think that " mother tongue" is the same to "first (native) language", so can you explain more to me? Thanks

  Dear Lov this life! Welcome to EC and to my group! You have posted a very correct message. There is only 2 things I have to correct. They are:
  
  1. If you want to shorten "because" it is "'cause". It is not principle because we don't have to shorten words in a written form.
  2. "mother tongue" is wrong. You should say: "first (native) language"

  This is the first time i've joined this club, and i think yr site is really helpful. I'm a Vietnamese student. There are many difficult things that i have to face 'cuz English is not my mother tongue. Thanks lot and have fun!
