Lie or Lay? Learn English with Simple English Videos

These two verbs are so tricky that native English speakers sometimes muddle them up. So when Bob Dylan wrote 'Lay lady lay' he should have written, 'Lie lady lie' - it doesn't sound as good though.     Yes, it's a little confused sometimes to use "lie" and "lay". I think I will watch it again and make some note to get the proper use of lie and lay. I got the differences clearly by watching your video. I didn't know that there is "lie down" beside "lay down". :)
