Origami is the art of paper folding. This is associated with Japanese culture and is now being adopted internationally. Regardless of cultural origin, origami is the term used or the modern acceptable word used when we talk about all (paper) folding practices. 

It is indeed a very interesting and challenging hobby to turn a flat sheet of square paper into a finished sculpture. My interest in paper folding began in the year 1997, when I created a table garden out of a variety of origami flower designs.
