Writing Prompt: Good or Well?

Hi Craig,

The plane landed well in Brisbane on Wednesday. It was already Thursday and my back kept hurting even after so many hours of flight. I needed to take a ride with my good friend Bryan to see the family's doctor since mom and dad were busy at work. Thanks God it was nothing and the doctor said I was doing well ! Apart from that, I can tell you that my sister Catrina is doing so well too, after serious injuries in a car crash two months ago. I myself visited her in the hospital and she looked good. My clever brother Eliot is practicing his skills as an engineer in good quality cars after just having a degree at university. He really has a brilliant future ahead! My grandmother keeps with that old good smile, and, of course, making sweet strawberry pies on Sundays. She's a very talented cook! My grandfather is not so well because one of his good companions, the dog Puppy, has escaped since last week.

You have used "Good" and "Well" correctly Dan.

Another way to write the last sentence of your story is:

My grandfather is not so well because one of his good companions, the dog Puppy, has escaped adrift since last week.

or

My grandfather is not so well because one of his good companions, the dog Puppy, has escaped adrift last week.
