  • Oh one more thing, I also heard that people from Russia is cold to others compare to people who has enough sun in their country... Well, you asked me what do I know about Russia and that is what I heard :)

  • What do I know about Russia? Hmm... not much :p

I know that it is very cold there in Russia. I heard about white night in St Petersburg, a building with colorful roof in Moskow (is that a cathedral?).. What else? :S Ah, privet! Kak dela? :) Spasibo for the blog :P

  • Well,I once read a book(Tatiana and Alexander) whose story took place in Leningrand and it was about the love between an American soldier and a young Russian girl during the World War 2 I think! From then on I liked this country more, becuse of the beauty of the rivers and canals and all that! And also I like a Russian food a lot Pelmeni you know?A russian friend of mine cooks it,delicious :)
  • Well I have seen that Russia is a powerful country and a higher weapon producer...

I never been in Russia, but I have seen the Moscow's Red Square and the beautiful snowy landscapes in pictures.

I know too that the first satellite and the first man in the space was a Russians.

And why not? the best vodka is produced in Russia.

    Greetings...

  • The president is bear, by name. But not sure that anyone ordinary people can meet that bear.. But ordinary people won't go also to taiga to meet a real bear.

The cigarettes and gasoline is there cheaper than in Estonia. A lot of people who don't have job, have been making living by commuting over border to bring cigarettes and fuel.. either illegally, but also legally. For legal transport they use cars that have officially big tank for fuel.. to bring cheap fuel from there and then sell here, or sometime they have made the fuel tank bigger.. that's illegal... but also selling fuel without license is illegal. So it's certainly illegal, but sometime it might be only way to make living for someone who can't find job... I think.

Well, although it's my neighbor country and is often mentioned in news, more often about politics but also other stuff.. I can hardly recall anything current.... I just forget anything too soon what I hear. The latest news that I could remember was about a forest cutting for the highway from Moscow to St. Petersburg... but that is because it have been in news a lot in past year already, I think..

Well. I would say it's just like any other country that appears often in news.. It have it's pros and cons, and although I say it's like any other country it's still unique.. well as like any other country also.

Actually I should know more facts about Russia than I know about any other country, because we are neighbors and share some common from past, but.. I suppose I really have short memory.. It have became too distant, I think.
