The word is "interfere" answered by Abd Al-ghafoor Ajjour, Syubi, nida, Oksana, anele, Javier, Hala J.M, amal hope forever, and Rabab. The meaning of "interfere" seems as your definition, but the first –interfering– has a space more,

so, probably could be another word (although could be a post mistake hehehe–)

My hopeless guess is interfere. Though, if it's really interfere, then the "ing" form has one spare letter.
