Hala ya Hala! mumkin akoon wahid min alasdigaa? I hope to be one of your friends.
Hi, Hala!
So great to get a message from you! You're right about our busy way of life. Hope some day in the future we'll have more free time and enjoy talking with each other.
Thanks for your nice wishes and colourful card. We had a day off devoted to women's Day yesterday, so I went to my Mum's place to visit her and give some presents. Is the 8th of March a public holiday in your country?
My heartiest congratulations to you, too.
The beauty of a woman
isn't in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman
must be seen from in her eyes;
Because that's the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman
isn't in a facial mole;
But true beauty in a woman,
is reflected by her soul.
It's the caring that she cares to give,
the passion that she shows;
And the beauty of a woman
with passing years only grows.
Hi, my dear Hala!
How are the things on your side! Hope everything is OK with you.
We've been celebrating Maslenitsa this week in Russia! It's the holiday that lasts for a week to say "Goodbye!" to winter and also it’s a special week before the Great Lent according to Orthodox Church. Every day of Maslenitsa is devoted to special rituals. Maslenitsa is our Russian carnival. It’s very colourful and cheerful and people have a lot of fun. The main food is bliny (Russian pancakes).
On the last day of Maslenitsa there’s a solemn burning of the stuffed figure of winter.
The last day of the week –Sunday is called ‘forgiveness Sunday’. On that day people ask each other for forgiveness for all grievances and troubles.
So, forgive me, please if I've unintentionally hurt you. And Happy Maslenitsa! Wish you peace, love and harmony!
Hug and kiss you!
Galina
