"Finding a Topic"

Hi,

Blog readers!

(just to grab the attention of the readers I chose this TITLE shh keep it a secret heheh :P)

(OKAY I SHOULD ACT SERIOUSLY NOW)

Well I chose this Title as i am really short of topic nowadays.I really wish to write so many blogs everyday but I can't sighs. (that's little sympathetic i guess) "What should and what could i write??" for that i Googled many topics, asked my family to suggest me some topics and even asked several friends on EC to advise some topics. While asking to one of my friend I found my title for the blog.I dared and told him confidently "FINDING A TOPIC" is the title of my upcoming blog.(god finally i am writing something now :P)

I was good at writing and expressing my thoughts but due to the absence of 2 years from EC because of my studies and exams I become so dull in conveying my thoughts.

I really love to read and write, its like writing gives me peace really I mean it I am fond of writing my thoughts in my mother tongue that is URDU but when it comes to write something in ENGLISH I feel my mind paralyzed.

So the only reason of writing this blog is I want my readers , teachers and friends to help me in recommending some good and easy to write topics.

Looking forward to your support,

Your's Short of Topic,

Anah.........!

  • Thanks for mentioning the Writing Prompts. You can try a new one every week.

  • My liltle sister is worried about topics. I can't believe ! :)
As you said you are good at writing your thoughts in Urdu, but when it comes to writing in English, you find it difficult. It means You are already enriched with ideas and topics, but what you have to do is to write your ideas in Urdu, then try to translate them into English.

Note: translation is a great skill you should practise it.
However, the topic I would like to suggest you is "childhood dreams or addictions etc

    Wish you all the best
  • It can be so hard to find a suitable topic to write. Why not take the writing challenge? Yes, Tara's monthly writing challenge.

  • Anah, I think you shouldn't force yourself because then it won't worth it. Suddenly, one day u will see that topic will somehow come across your mind. That's my advice. Anyway, m curious to get to know sth about the place you live in, including your own pics :p
  • Better you write about something that is so much closer either to your life or you have heard about it as Daniela tell you

  • Here is an old post from my archives: I don't know what to blog about.

  • Anah, you could try to write about what is the closest to you... the strongest interest above all topic, it is more naturally in this way. BTW, for me it is hard to talk and write about ordinary things.;D Hope one day on EC we will see some good articles of you.

  • Write something of your interests, be it your hobby, movies, books, or something like your dreams. But speaking from experience, I found that participating in monthly Writing Challenge by Tara do helps to kick-start your thinking cap. After that, topics come more naturally.
