I have been a English teacher for 4 years and this year has been really hard. My studentrs seem to not liking the classes and the activities that I make are worthless to them. Besides, they aren't good at my classes: they get up and talk, they make fun of their classmates and they say that learning English is a waste of time (and if you have read my previous blog, you know what I think of that).
I try to be as creative as I can: work in groups, make plays, listen to music and have lots of fun with them but they don't care that much. They just don't have a nice attitude towards the class.
there are some students that understand English but because they take private classes. There are some other that practice their English because the have travel abroad or have some relatives at an English Speaking country.
I'm a bit tired cuz i
t seems that I'm spending my time on something that it's not value and well I have to keep on doing but we not mativation.
I need a change of attitude I need a new inspiration.

That sounds like some of the classes I've had.
Plus, at the end of the course, they fail and even "pray" to you asking for help to pass the course.
Only then, they understand the importance of studying, when they have the water to the neck or higher.
But there are still those who really value the chance they have to study and be better people in the future.

I'm also a teacher and i think all teachers have the same problems more or less often. I think ss in schools are not so motivated to learn english, besides there are other problems, e.g. in Russia we have too big groups of ss and only 3 lessons a week of english. So most of the ss don't learn it in a proper way. So very often i'm disappointed. But sometimes there are lessons when my students work hard and i have a pleasant feeling that i don't waste time. And such moments give me inspiration to continue my work. Try to be enthusiastic and inspire your ss.

You are quite right.When the students are motivated ,the teacher can do the job better without getting bored .Our job"teaching"is really hard ,it needs our patience to endure diffrent minds of students.But what can we do ? only try our best !It's a hard feeling for you,but go on ...
I think day by day it'll be better because I can see that you like teaching and you care about your students,and it's the important thing.
