  Thanks for expressing your voice of view. The atmosphere is really oppresive, heavy and, however, droll. These people were living during transitional period- from socialism to capitalism. The two characters are either engineers, architects,researchers or lecturers . They were innocent victims and suffering not less than proletariat.

  The "Piece of Cake" is a wonderful cartoon! Talented work! But it is very sad! This animation film is associated with a feature film "The promised place" by Eldar Riazanov, well-know Russian director. A theme of "The promiced place" - tragedy of people (intellectuals!) during reform time. Anyone can be broken. The History has proved it. :-(

  Hi natasha, this one is funny. The exhausted atmosphere makes it much funnier. I wonder if it is coming from the sadness of working class (proletariat). Thank you for posting!
