  • Sir, Dara,

    Many thanks for commenting.

  • Hello Dear ma'am, Rose,

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery and leaving your nice comments.

And I' m so happy to hear that you have visited my country.

Pinnawala is one of my favourite places. I’ve visited a few times there and then I have seen 2 disable elephants. One was blind and had lost one leg from the knee. And it was in a single cage. After that Within a short period, we got the news that the elephant has died.

Another one could walk. But one leg was short a little. Though 2 years ago, when we went there, couldn’t see it also. Actually, I don’t know what happened him.

We will pray for them for great birth next time.

  • Neer nalavar Kal! Thanks for sharing.

  • I visited the elephants in Pinnawala, too. I still remember the old elephant bull that had lost one of its feet. I don't know whether that elephant is still alive because I saw it in 2004. Do you know what happened to that elephant, dear Kal?

  • Dear Onee, many many thanks for your all comments & liking the photos,

After bathing they used to applying powder, they really like it (sand & dust),that's why, they have different colors.

  • What happened with their color?? Why is there different color on one elephant, especially on their tusk. Is it because the ray of the sun?

Nice pic! I like animal pictures. :)
