Everyone should choose his food as he likes. Everyone should respect and accept how others like their food, too. I experienced on my last holiday in India what it means to eat vegan ... maybe not as strict as you as a vegan, but I hadn't have problems to resist to eat meat and animal products at all. It wasn't a problem for myself. The most important for myself is that what I eat should be tasty. And yes, you are right, I like to decorate my food. As our German proverb says: "Die Augen essen mit".
