Good evening, everyone.

This is my first year here and I met a lot of good and very good people and I`d like that our communication has a taste of reality!!! ;)

I`m writing it now in order to have time to save some money and to make a detailed route map with all prices and locations. As a traveller with experience I suggest myself as an organazier of this lovely trip :)

We had discussions about this question in chat and in blogs, too. It`s wonderful to travel and it would be great if a good chatting becomes a good frinedship in reality. So what I suggest you is to have a real meeting in the last 2 weeks in June, 2015.

There were some discussions about routes and country destinations and I suggest you 2 variants:

1) the route is "Bavaria (Germany) 1 week - Greek sea beaches and sun - 1 week". The duration will be 2 weeks. I can pick up someone from Vilnius (Lithuania) coz from there I`ll go to Germany.

2) the route is "Barcelona - Mallorca - Austria" (sea and mountains) for 2 weeks also.

All flights will be organized by budjet airlines and booked very early so it won`t be so expensive :)

Both routes have mountains and sea to enjoy as well as a lot of places of interests and nt only. the first thing that must be made by us is:

1) to decide who will really go

2) then we need to choose where to go

3) and after that we`ll discuss all details.

So, who is in? I`m in!:)

Hi, hi, HIII! :)

Let`s continue our Earth`s exploration and today`s destination point is my beloved Hamburg (Germany). It`s situated on the north of Germany and I visited it several times. I use Ryanair airlines from Vilnius (Lithuania) to get there and the average price for the tickets is around 30-40 euros without luggage (if you book it earlier). Once I bought tickets for 36 euros (Vilnius - Hamburg - Vilnius) :) So catch your lucky minutes while booking!:) By the way, if you aren`t an EU citizen, you`ll need visa :P

As usual, all photos are mine :)

Hamburg is a city where you will find a lot of old cathedrals and churches and some other historical places. Sometimes I felt myself as a lady in Mid ages and only modern cars and people around returned me back into reality :)

Remember that if you fly from Vilnius, your arrival city will be Bremen. There you can take a bus and go to Hamburg.

The public transport is very good in Hamburg (esp the underground). Don`t forget to pay every time you use transport coz Trasport security service is very strict. And you need to have passport every time you are in the city!

Hamburg is a port - city so you`ll see there a lot of ships, boats, and other sea transport :)

Also visit the City Botanic Garden. There you`ll find a lot of plants and you can spend a whole day there. In the evenings you can see the "Singing fountains" - a light show with different styles of music :)

You know that in my city you`ll find a lot of pigeons and sparrows. I didn`t find them in Hamburg :)))) But I found a lot of rabbits (yes, yes!) and geese.

Useful info:

1. If you buy a fresh water in the bottles, you`ll see there the price of water and the price of the bottle if you put it in a special recycling machine. You can find this machine in every supermarket. So collect your bottles and save the planet! and get money for that!)

2. I didn`t buy the ticket for several days (it was around 40 euros). I walked on foot a lot and it`s very nice. I bought tickets every time and thus I saved some money.

3. You can find a lot of supermarkets in Hamburg so there`s no problem with nutrition there. Everything is delicious esp diary products.

4. Prices in shopping centres are nice!

5. Amost all people speak English (at least all people I asked answered me)))

6. Hamburg is a safe city. I didn`t face any problem but there are some regions you mustn`t visit. Most of them are in the end of the city.

I love this city and I feel there as if I`m at home :) So I hope I`ll return and return and return there :))

Save journeys!

Hello.

You know there are too many blogs with useless words sometimes here. Sometimes words are useful and make me thinking about many things in life. But what I suggest you is to enojoy this lovely place called "The Earth".

How often do we think about it and how often do we really enjoy it? The Earth is full of different wonders and not all are known by us even. I want to open this planet for myself together with you and I want to use one rule for everyone here : less words and more pictures :)

I`d appreciate if you also add photos of the planet`s wonders in this blog. I want to create the Earth`s photoalbum and once, when i`ll feel really sad, i`ll re-watch this book of wonders and think that all those people`s suffers are nothing but rubbish.

This is life. This is the planet. This is the home we live in. And this blog-post is a photo-album of this awesome life.

p.s. I don`t like virtual travellings. And I`m gonna see it in my reality.

"The White whale near Norway"

"The oldest baobab in Africa. This tree has been living for 2000 years already".

"Norway"

"Park Kitakyushi, Japan"

"The old city of Ronda, Spain"

"The sunrise in Rio, Brazil"

"Barcelona, Spain"

...to be continued

Every russian person knows the proverb that tells you to be attentive (esp when you have a biiiig family). Just miss one second and you`ll lose your yummy things, your bus seat, etc. So this funny mini - story will teach you to be attentive and fast when you see your life goals :D

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. So let`s move further and the next stop will be - Rome, Italy.

p.s. as usual, all photos are taken by me :)

Well, we got to Champino Airport (not far from Rome). You can take a city map right in the airport at the info station (you`ll see it and ask how to get to Rome and to your hotel). A small advice for you - I always book my hotels close to underground or famous places. It`s the easy way not to get lost in the unknown place if you don`t want to spend all your money on taxi!

After arrival take a bus on the station in front of the Airport (tickets can be bought inside the airport) and go right to Termini Station, Rome (Central station). The price of the ticket was about....I forgot )))) Till 10 euros per person for sure!!!

You know, I didn`t like Rome from the first sight and the reasons were:

1) too hot (+36)

2) too crowdy

3) too dirty on the streets.

I was so upset but what helped is that our hotel was in Vaticano city (a family hotel, 50 euros per night for 2), 10 minutes walk to Vaticano and 20 min by underground and on foot from Termini. The room was cosy, the owner of the hotel was very helpful and there was coffee for free D:D:D: (my mood started to grow up).

After all our adventures we decided to watch the top of Rome. And number 1 was Colosseo (the same undergroud station, line B). Before I saw it I thought - WOW , I`M GONNA SEE THE HISTORY. When I saw it I thought - GOSH, I SEE AFRICA AND INDIA HERE, and all stones from Colosseo...where are they?:D:D:D So here it is, the giant of the old history!

Well, seeing Colosseo without Vaticano means nothing! So here it is! Vaticano, the sacred place for all Catholics :)

After that we decided to take a but around Rome (Termini station, 15 euros per person) and watch the whole Rome at one time. Here it is.

What useful info you need to know before you go to Rome?

1. Not so many people here speak English (unlike in Barcelona). Or may be I was so unlucky!

2. The price for the public transport is around 1,50 euros (as far as I remember). You can buy it in special ticket machines on every station.

3. The best pizza was on Termini station, ground floor.

4. The price for a pieace of pizza (a quarter) was about 3-5 euros, coffee - 1-3 euros (it depends), water - 0,50-2 euros (it depends). Restaraunt prices for pizza are from 8 euros, for pasta - from 8 euros, for lasagna - from 9 euros. Don`t forget that you`ll see extra 2 euros for tourists` service and you have to pay the tourist tax for every night. You`ll pay it in a hotel

5.  if you want to go to other cities, use Termini station tickets office and try to pay there by card using special machines, It`s faster and if you pay cash prepare to stand a veeeeeeery long queue.

6. All toilets were for 1 euro

7. Don`t talk with the city sellers or they `ll follow you :D

8. Be careful with your bags!

9. Don`t forget to try the best Italian ice-cream (3 balls will be for 3-5 euros, it depends).

(continuation is in my post #2).

Welcome, travellers.

Today we`ll visit the place in my country named "Hatyn`" ("hata" means "a house" in belaryssian). On 22.03.1943 it was destroyed by nazi coz local citizens killed some of nazi. 186 inhabitants including old people and kids were burnt alive in their houses by Nazi. Those who weren`t burnt were shooted by Nazi soldiers. Only one person stayed alive. It was an old man.

In 1969 this open air museum was opened for the eternal memory of human cruelty and innocent death of children.

Need to say that a lot of small and big villages were burnt by Nazi and 3/4 of the population of my country was destroyed during the Second World war.

In the memory of those who died to bring the freedom and in memory of my beloved coutry I want to show you this open air museum.

p.s. All photos are mine except the last one.

When you enter, you see this memorable stone with the words about killed people in Khatyn`.

This is the cementary of all villages burnt in Belarus during the WW2. The quantity is more than one hundred. Each stone presents 1 village.

It`s written here on my native language..people died here with the hope for victory ...

Many children died during that time too...

You will always hear the bell ringing in this place.... An endless silent cry for those who died....

p.s. I lost photo with the monument for the one citizen who stayed alive after that tragedy. Here it is.

What if....

What if your life was without your senses?

Some of you know that I`m having a cold now so I for some time I lost my smelling and tasting ailities .

I`m confused as always. I eat food and taste nothing. I smell my perfume and I feel nothing. I know my features when I`m ill but what if......I had such life? Without body feelings?

Gosh...../

Hey hey, those who like watching photos and those who like travelling. And those who like reading my blogs. So we are moving further and the next stop will be in VENICE (ITALY).

p.s. as usual, all photos in this blog are taken by my hands and eyes.

So here it is. Here is Venice I saw this summer.

We got to Venice from Rome by "EXTRAHIGHSPEED" train :) (260km/h). The price of the tocket per person was 80 euros. You can by these tickets easily on Termini station, Rome.

The weather was really great, The sun was shining all the time and the temperature in August was about +25-28.

Venice was very overcrowded and the streets aren`t so wide. What you won`t see in Venice is the roads with the cars! It`s a place where you can go on foot only or via sea transport.

We arrived from Rome to Venice in the evening so the sunset was awesome.

If you want to take gondola, prepare a lot of money. We were told about the price around 130$ for one trip. So what did we do? We took a sea bus (a ticket costs 7 euros one way) and made our sea journeys around the city by this sea bus. It looks like a big-big boat that has bus-stops everywhere. also by this sea-bus you can go to small islands like Lido, Murano and so on.

Don`t forget to visit Murano glass shops in Venice. All these shops were like a museum for me. It was like Ali Baba`s cave full of treasures. All these glass masterpieces you can watch by hours. See some of them!

Venice is wonderful. Don`t forget to visit Piazzo San Marco, Realto and make a simple walk around Venice! You`ll never forget this romantic city full of old buildings and awesome glass shops.

Don`t forget that Venice isn`t a cheap city. The price for 1 night for 2 persons was about 120$ (that`s the most lowest at the season). The typical price for your food in the cafe will be around 25-30 euros but we found the supermarket and were very happy!))) Fruits and cheese non-stop!)

(the continuation of the photos is in my second post)

Hi hi again. Our next stop iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis - Barcelona (Spain)!!!!

What do you need to know if you go there? My flight wast in Barcelona after midnight (El Prat airport). So the taxi costed around 70-80 euros, but there`s a night bus next to the airport exit (2,50 euros). If you go to the airport in the morning\afternoon\evening , there`s a shuttle bus "Aerobus" right to the airport (around 10 euros). I took it on Catalogna square.

Being in Barcelona, don`t forget to visit Sagrada Familia by Gaudi.

You know, when I saw Sagrada in google before I go to Spain I thought "Well, nothing special". But you have to see it in reality :) It`s awesome!

Where did I go next? This is Barcelona Aquarium where you can see a lot of sea species. My dream came true - I saw real sharks!

Don`t eat me!!!!

Then I visited the museum of Science named "Cosmo Caixa". There you can hold many experiments by yourself, see how the science works. And there`s a part of Amazonian jungle where you can see the real trees and other flora and fauna.

Being in Barcelona don`t forget to visit Park Guel built by Gaudi. There you`ll see a splendid view on Barcelona and the sea. Also you can see the Gaudi`s creations :)

Good morning, everyone !:)

Life is too short and the Earth is too big. With this bloogs I want to share the travelling experience where i`ve been to. Would be great if you could add the useful info about this or that country. It can be very useful for those who`s going the same destination.

So, lets get started. and my first stop will be - yeah yeah, the UK. I visited London, Cambridge, and other small and not small cities in England. It happened that I made photos of London, and had no time for other places, so I`m really sorry!)

p.s. All photos posted in these bloggs are mine!

So here it is - My London! :)

First thing you should remember about London - it`s an expensive city. So be ready to spend all your money on public transport, cafes and other stuff. My Oyster transport card for 1 week for bus and underground (all zones) costed 110$ at that time. As for cafes, I was suffering, I`m used to the home food and there I saw a lot of fast-foods and so on. So I lost almost 7 kilos :D:D:D:D

Lots of people and tourists, famous red buses and old buildings... It is everywhere!!!! ;)

Don`t forget to visit Westminster Abbey. It`s rather nice there but there were many Chinese tourists. It took me 1 hour for mking this picture without people :D:D:D:

"London Eye". Every time I go there there were sooooo many people that I couldn`t get there. Ehh....I hope one day I`ll see London from the bird`s distance :)

A quiet and a nice part of London we are lived (North London, Crouch End).

That is another part of life of London. The City. A business heart and a city inside the city :)

After a long walking journey, it`s time to sit and enjoy the park (behind Big ben and House of Parliaments).

...the Eternity is full of solitudes".

I re-read the book by Garcia Marquez "100 years of solitude" and the words that impressed me much were:

“One minute of reconciliation is worth more than a whole life of friendship!”

What if "Reconciliation" is seen as "truce" with yourself? How many of us are in the state of truce with our inner world?

I always tried to be good for people around me, in most cases I did and said and acted the way people want me. And all that was because I needed their "approval and applause" that I`m a nice and good person. The same situation was with my family but not with my friends who knew the reality as it was.

I feel that now the time of reconciliation come to my life and the whole attention must be paid to the inner contradictions and thoughts rather than being "a good girl" for the society including family and friends. And may be it`s really worth than a whole life of friendship...and I`d continue - a whole life of friendship and social desirability.

p.s. While writing these thoughts I remember the words spoken by dr.Lector in the movie "The silence of the lambs":

"Look at yourself, or you`re too scared to do that?"

What do you think?

Imagine that you have a very difficult choice. From the one hand you`ve got what you dreamt about and it gives you the possibility to live good and as you want. And from the other side you need to face a lot of negative, meet sometimes not good mannered people with not very clean thoughts in their heads. I started thinking that I`m turning into them.

That black`s becoming white for me and what I thought bad is now "so-so" for me. I started thinking about leaving and finding what is right and what is wrong. But if I leave, I`ll automatically change my life into the bad side.

What would you do? I have a decision for myself, but what would you do?

Be positive!

Hi!:)

Today I faced a lot of problems at my work but what I learnt for myself was the ability to see positive things in negative.

I found that even if you`re fired it`s a good start for the new life. If you don`t have money, you don` have the desire to spend them on useless things. If you sit at home for several days, you can relax without any feelings of boredom. If you have a fight with someone, it`s a good point for you to think and find the solution.

How  do you turn negative events of your life into positive results of the future?

A Crranky old man

Just read it and  no comments. What do you think?

What do you see nurses? ……

What do you see?

What are you thinking .. . when you’re looking at me?

A cranky old man, … …not very wise,

Uncertain of habit .… … . .. with faraway eyes?

Who dribbles his food .. . … . . and makes no reply.

When you say in a loud voice . .’I do wish you’d try!’

Who seems not to notice …the things that you do.

And forever is losing … …… A sock or shoe?

Who, resisting or not … … lets you do as you will,

With bathing and feeding … .The long day to fill?

Is that what you’re thinking?. .Is that what you see?

Then open your eyes, nurse .you’re not looking at me.

I’ll tell you who I am … . .. As I sit here so still,

As I do at your bidding, .… . as I eat at your will.

I’m a small child of Ten . .with a father and mother,

Brothers and sisters .… .. . who love one another

A young boy of Sixteen … .. with wings on his feet

Dreaming that soon now …… a lover he’ll meet.

A groom soon at Twenty … ..my heart gives a leap.

Remembering, the vows .. .. .that I promised to keep.

At Twenty-Five, now … . .I have young of my own.

Who need me to guide … And a secure happy home.

A man of Thirty . .… . . My young now grown fast,

Bound to each other …. With ties that should last.

At Forty, my young sons .. .have grown and are gone,

But my woman is beside me . . to see I don’t mourn.

At Fifty, once more, .. …Babies play ‘round my knee,

Again, we know children … . My loved one and me.

Dark days are upon me … . My wife is now dead.

I look at the future … … . I shudder with dread.

For my young are all rearing .… young of their own.

I’m now an old man … … .. and nature is cruel.

It’s jest to make old age … … . look like a fool.

The body, it crumbles .. .. . grace and vigour, depart.

There is now a stone … where I once had a heart.

But inside this old carcass . A young man still dwells,

And now and again … . . my battered heart swells I

remember the joys … . .. . I remember the pain.

And I’m loving and living … … . life over again.

I think of the years, all too few …. gone too fast.

And accept the stark fact … that nothing can last.

So open your eyes, people .… . .… open and see.

Not a cranky old man . Look closer … . see .. .…. …. . ME!!

Moments of life

Sometimes it happens that you meet people in unusual places and one of them I met here. Though my mind is puzzled now I strongly believe that if you start talking to peoplel and if they start putting the roots in your life then it`s necessary to do it. Then you must learn smth from them and go further. Thanks, EC, for meeting such people :)
