Hi, hi, HIII! :)
Let`s continue our Earth`s exploration and today`s destination point is my beloved Hamburg (Germany). It`s situated on the north of Germany and I visited it several times. I use Ryanair airlines from Vilnius (Lithuania) to get there and the average price for the tickets is around 30-40 euros without luggage (if you book it earlier). Once I bought tickets for 36 euros (Vilnius - Hamburg - Vilnius) :) So catch your lucky minutes while booking!:) By the way, if you aren`t an EU citizen, you`ll need visa :P
As usual, all photos are mine :)
Hamburg is a city where you will find a lot of old cathedrals and churches and some other historical places. Sometimes I felt myself as a lady in Mid ages and only modern cars and people around returned me back into reality :)
Remember that if you fly from Vilnius, your arrival city will be Bremen. There you can take a bus and go to Hamburg.
The public transport is very good in Hamburg (esp the underground). Don`t forget to pay every time you use transport coz Trasport security service is very strict. And you need to have passport every time you are in the city!
Hamburg is a port - city so you`ll see there a lot of ships, boats, and other sea transport :)
Also visit the City Botanic Garden. There you`ll find a lot of plants and you can spend a whole day there. In the evenings you can see the "Singing fountains" - a light show with different styles of music :)
You know that in my city you`ll find a lot of pigeons and sparrows. I didn`t find them in Hamburg :)))) But I found a lot of rabbits (yes, yes!) and geese.
Useful info:
1. If you buy a fresh water in the bottles, you`ll see there the price of water and the price of the bottle if you put it in a special recycling machine. You can find this machine in every supermarket. So collect your bottles and save the planet! and get money for that!)
2. I didn`t buy the ticket for several days (it was around 40 euros). I walked on foot a lot and it`s very nice. I bought tickets every time and thus I saved some money.
3. You can find a lot of supermarkets in Hamburg so there`s no problem with nutrition there. Everything is delicious esp diary products.
4. Prices in shopping centres are nice!
5. Amost all people speak English (at least all people I asked answered me)))
6. Hamburg is a safe city. I didn`t face any problem but there are some regions you mustn`t visit. Most of them are in the end of the city.
I love this city and I feel there as if I`m at home :) So I hope I`ll return and return and return there :))
Save journeys!

Estanis, of cource it`s not a decision you take in 5 mins, but who knows :)))) Wait for my suggestions in blogs!:)
Estanis , so are you in?
Furthermore, I like cows and milk although I can't skiing.
Ah! It'd be a great excuse to make my first excursion by caravan, I'm wishing it since years ago.
afro, no need to envy :) Just take a plane and go!)
Estanis, and what about Austria? and mountains? Anna is for it and me too :)
Aha....I envy you Bee!
Then, you Honey, as an active and lively member in Ec, should make a blog in which people who are really interested give their opinion about it.
As for me, I'd like June since it's not too hot already and Ibiza would be a good place to make a "beach chill out party".
I have an idea! What about mountain holidays in the Alps? For example, it can be Italy or Austria as well.
well you know, Anna, that was a real idea ut only persons supported it :)) I`m talking very seriously))) why not? A real EC party somewhere. But I guess in June or July we`ll die from the heat (well, me especially))))) if it is June or July, it can be Germany as well :) So? I`m in, too :)))
Estanis, Anna, then we should make the EC party in 2014 not in Georgia but in...Spain?:)))) Mallorca?:D or Barcelona?:)
