WOE TO...

Hi everyonehere is the Chapter Al-Humazah...In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.Woe to every scandal-monger and slanderer, 1who amasses wealth and counts it over. 2He supposes his wealth will make him immortal! 3No indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crusher. 4And what will show you what is the Crusher? 5[ It is ]the fire of Allah, set ablaze, 6which will overspread the hearts. 7Indeed it will close in upon them 8in outstretched columns. 9.....................................................................................................................here is another translation of this Chapter;i brought it here to better understand the meanings:In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.Woe to every taunter and ill-will Backbiter!A man who has collected wealth and Keeps on counting it;And he thinks that his wealth will cause Him a lasting life;Nay! Verily, he will be cast into Hotamah; And how could you know what The Hotamah is?It is a Fire which has been kindled by Allah's Wrath; The flames of which aims the hearts Of the disbelievers;Verily, it shall enclose The disbelievers from all directions,In the pillars of flames which are tall And stretched......................................................................................................................in this chapter taunters and ill-will Backbiters are strongly blamed and they are described as ones who are greedy in collecting wealth...at the end ,to be a caviller and teaser causes one to deserve Hotamah...the first two words of this chapter-همزة and لمزة-literally mean as follows:Homazah refers to one who teases others and thus causes annoyance...the word's root means "breaking"(it is the result of this bad treatment;for it causes the one who is teased to feel ashamed and broken in heart and soul)Lomazah refers to one who backbites and cavils...disgusting habit it is!so let's not to deserve being burnt in Hotamah by getting rid of these disgudting habits...AVOID TEASING AND BACKBITING.....have a peaceful life away from Hotamah:)

  • Hi Ben...

thanks a lot for your kind reply...
correct you are...to make a balance not to have poverty and remove polarization -the poor and the rich- all human beings must contribute ...the rich should feel pity with the poor and they should show that they are thankful to God by supporting charities and nourishing ...
Zakat is a good way to stop the poor from suffering;to remove poverty ...
good point you've pointed out here...thanks a lot for reminding us of this guideline of Quran...
if one pays Zakat ,it means that he/she is not among the ones who are greedy in collecting wealth and thus they don't deserve to be burnt in Hotamah if they also try not to be among the two groups stated at the beginning of the Chapter i shared here...

thanks and have a moderate life:)
