Hi sis and bros...i hope you to be gifted with lots of nice presents from God this Ramadan ....here i've put some verses of the Holy Qura'n about true and acceptable Tawbah ....i hope that it is useful for all of us...In the Name of Allah ,the All-beneficent ,the All-merciful...Say[ that Allah declares, ]" O My servants who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah will forgive all sins. Indeed He is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful.Turn penitently to Him and submit to Him before the punishment overtakes you, whereupon you will not be helped.And follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your Lord, before the punishment overtakes you suddenly while you are unaware.Lest anyone should say," Alas for my negligence in the vicinage of Allah! Indeed I was among those who ridiculed."Or say," Had Allah guided me I would have surely been among the God wary!"Or say, when he sights the punishment," If only there had been a second chance for me I would be among the virtuous!"" Yes, My signs certainly came to you, but you denied them and acted arrogantly and you were among the faithless.(39/53-59)....you see ,Allah Himself declares that the gates toward His mercy is widely open...the ones who think that they are drown in the darkness of sins; those who feel ashamed to repent ;those who think their repentance wouldn't be accepted should take a look at the verse above...the verse itself is enough to tell them that the sea of God's mercy is much vaster than their sea of sins...just being regretful is enough ...if one wants to repent ;if one has decided not to repeat his misdeeds;if one has determined to amend ...it is enough ...he/she will find Allah accepting his regret...but he/she must know the value of the opportunity he/she is given to repent.......but we see some people who say i WILL repent some other time,for example, in my old age! first of all ,who knows if he/she will be alive by then?!second,take a look at the verses below:[ Acceptance of ]repentance by Allah is only for those who commit evil out of ignorance, then repent promptly. It is such whose repentance Allah will accept, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.But[ acceptance of ]repentance is not for those who go on committing misdeeds: when death approaches any of them, he says," I repent now." Nor is it for those who die while they are faithless. For such We have prepared a painful punishment.(4/17,18)in another verse we see :and those who, when they commit an indecent act or wrong themselves, remember Allah, and plead[ Allah's ]forgiveness for their sins and who forgives sins except Allah? and who do not persist in what they have committed while they know.Their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them[ forever ]. How excellent is the reward of the workers.(3/135,136)...i think the verses themselves are explicit enough;so there is no need for my elaboration...i hope that we pay attention to the guidelines presented by God not to get stuck in the darkness of Satanic temptations ...i will be glad if you share the other verses related to Tawbah ....have a nice time and always remember that "Indeed Allah loves the penitent"...

we have different kinds of sins ;one which is related to one's relationship with his/her Lord;like,not saying one's prayers ....one which is related to one's relationship with the society and others;like,murders,stealing,insulting,etc....and one which is related to one's relationship with him/herself which includes the previous two categories as well;like,causing injury to oneself ...
so repenting means rebuilding our relationships with ourselves ,our Lord and the whole world...
