hi, every one on this group. I dont know much information about this site and its groups but the name of this group attracted me.Im happy to find group under the name of Islam.I may not read all your topics, but there is a topic called what is Islam. It is very good topic and a special thank for the writer but I think when someone ask me what Islam I think I wont remeber all these things. so I think we should tell the one who asks the pillars of islam first . Then we tell this one about Islam in details I think that .The pillars of Islam are easy to memorize quicklyThus , when someone ask me or some one else what is the meaning of islam? we say simply that islam has five pillars or foundation:1-The first is to bear witness that there is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messanger2-The second is to pray 5 times a day. we pray at dawn , noon , afternoon, dusk, and night3-The third is to give alms to the poor and the needy4-The fourthis fast ramadan by obtaining from food , drink. and sex from dawn to dusk5-The final one is to preform piligramage by going to ka'aba in Mkkah once in a lifetime if you are physically and financially able.That is all what I want to say.
