     if someone abuse, insult, disgrace and disrespect my elders whom I respect the most... What will be my reaction and feelings? neither

    it is stupid people. And stupid people do not deserve my attention.

    It is good to respond to such person, but it is also good to feel at least bad about in heart, because we do love our elders, it ofcourse it is hard time that moral ethics are vanishing these days.

    its really hard for me to bear it but ,in fact i dont know what to do with him or her .i will be sad and angry and then i think to find a good answer in just one or 2 sentences to say her or him .but if i was strong that time i will be quiet and when we be alone i talk with her or him.hmmmmmm actually its a hard time .i wish we never experience it but we will.so i have to think more.i like to read other members answer to know about their reaction.

    A person who abuses, insults and disrespect others is a stupid person, the beat reaction is to pray for him/her to get rid of his/ her silliness.

    There is a saying of our beloved prophet (May Allah's blessing upon him), "Never abuse your parents!"  He was asked, "How one can abuse his/her own parents?".  He (PBUH) replied, "If you abuse others parents he will abuse yours in return, so in this way you abuse your own parents"

    So you are right Usra.

    There is a phrase in Urdu, "Adab aadaab'.  The one you mentiuoned is also correct, and yes it relates to decency, good manners and moral character.  Having all these qualities, there is no question that someonce will disrespect or disgrace other's elders................Elders may be parents, grand parents leaders especially religious and prophets.  Those who commit any insult to them actualy put the patch on their own face.
