Waiting for Godot can be related to the nowadays reality in the Middle East. For example, people in Libia, Yemen, and Syria, and may be Algeria are waiting for someone to save them and help them. They are fighting for freedom and democracy, but their fate does not help them. So they are living an existential time, because they have a major de force that prevents them from acheiving their dreams. I hope Godot will not be late?

Here in Egypt our GODOT came after 25 of January ( EL TAHREER REVOLUTION )
Now we can feel our freedom. speak without fear
but we have to work hard to build our new country
I hope all the arab countries have the happiness of freedom soon.
