Stereotypes

Learning   from  the media and  talking to older people , we pick up a lot of stereotypes about other nations. In every country there are plenty of stereotypes about residents but most of them are untrue and very wrongful.

What are the first 3 things which come into your mind when you hear the words "ENGLAND-ENGLISH"or"GREECE- GREEK".

English:Royal  family, bad weather, 5o' clock  tea, Big Ben,Shakespeare, pubs, fish and chips, polite, reserved, strange  humour.

Greek:country  of democracy, hospitable, communicative, hot tempered, religious, easy going, nice weather, use loud voice, too  much feasting, bouzouki party  smashing plates.
