If you loss your pen, you'll lose your study and fail.
If you fail you'll get no job and then no salary.
No salary means, you'll get skinny and you'll get ugly.
If you get ugly you'll get no marry, no children and you'll be live alone and in depression which will leads to sickness and death.
Isn't pen means life??

As Mishaikh said that "pen" is a knowledge, I agree.
"pen" could give us a better life, but without "pen" doesn't always bring us to bad in life. 'Cos human also have heart to make good in life. I guess so.. :)
The word "pen" here in this discussion, and where I referred in Qura'an used as "Knowledge" and a source to speread knowledge and not an object itself.
In this age of IT the key board also represents the same aspect.

i think here Pen means take a start toward specific goal..and i also agree with Mishaik
A pen does have some importance, that is why Allah Swears to Qalam(pen) In Qura'an (In Sura Qalam)
