Writing chalenge : Why I write

Write to connect people.

I don't really like to write. But when I read some blogs, how a blog can be a micro and a simplified information, and how a blog could provide many great essays and information, I realise writing is an art and a tool to brighten and broaden people's mind. Just like a painter, who try to describe and put his emotion in his canvas, a writer with his creativity has to put an effort to choose a word, and make a clear picture that is on his mind. Good writer can describe things that seem can't be described.

Written words connect our heart and mind to the readers so they could understand what is inside us. Word has power, power to connect, to change, to touch, to inform, to make people believe what we believe, feel what we feel, think like we think, to 'infect' them with us. To be abel to do that is addicting.

But writing also gives benefit to the writer. When we write something, it helps us to define a clearer perspective about something we know or understand. Being discipline in writing, helps us to have more constructed thinking. And, to keep being discpline in writing, we have to equip ourself with more resources, so, I'm sure a good writer is also a good reader.

In this case, I'm so glad about this chalenge, actually, this is a writting I wrote few weeks ago, but I just have the chance to post it today, thanks to Tara, this make me learn to write in English, you are one of the most creative person I know.

Let's writing!

  • Hello !

    Iapprove of you .

    Vilay.

  • Hello Stephen, how do you do?

insofar as you can talk to few natives that is better than writing for sure
but otherwise to workout in English there is either reading or writing.
would you ever stop studying or you’re lucky you manage to get in some practice.
In this case excuse me for butting in but to my mind
you’d better go out to meet your speakers.
As for me I like both but I’d prefer to talk to someone in flesh however though I live abroad
a very few citizen Thai can speak English more so as they have a peculiar accent and even
I should say an awful pronunciation. Some uses the right pitch of course but this is seldom
    to meet .
What can I do then? approach vacationers? mmmhhh! I’d as soon not!
They don’t care of my learning you know!
However I sometimes get some opportunities to meet a few expatriates like me.
in which case I’m not going to let the opportunity go to waste of course.
    What about you fellows?
    Law I just write.
I can take my time so it’s not ultimately as hard as people make out.
The point is that applying is crucial.
when I talk to any speaker I have to focus on his pronunciation.
one is from Canada, another friend from Africa and I see them about once every fortnight.
    ( better than nothing)!
I remember one I met at the beach two months ago who was Deutch.
Do you get my drift? ( to tune your ears in order to figure out everyone takes time!)
Well, to cut a long story short you need to put words and verbs together.
some training in writing should help you to improve your master’s degree even at spoken language.
I hope that helped you to step up your opinion about this topic.
enjoy your written practice on ec.

  • Thanks mickey for the correction!
  • You've finished this challenge very well by your great blog!

I hope to see more people join you and enjoy writing~

    Let's write. giggling~

    ;-)

  • Yes, thanks noas!
  • Can the sentence "Good writer can describe things that seem can't be described." be written as "A good writer can describe things that seems to be indescribable"? I just wondering aloud. :)

  • Tara, I have no idea to correct it, really, it sounds awkward...

    Yes Smith, agree!
  • Sorry I missed this blog.

Yes, writing can be called an art. Sometimes, even though you have all the vocabulary and grammar, you may still not be able to create a blog post. And, yes, writing blog posts here is an effective way to improve your English.

  • I absolutely loved this post. You described fantastic reasons for writing and blogging, and I bet you even convinced a few people to try it themselves!

This was my favourite part: "Word has power, power to connect, to change, to touch, to inform, to make people believe what we believe, feel what we feel, think like we think, to 'infect' them with us. To be able to do that is addicting."

Re corrections: I loved the sentence below, but it has a missing word, and needs rewording slightly. Can you try to improve it?
"Good writer can describe things that seem can't be described."

  • Thank you Sono, maybe I should add to the blog, the other reason people like to write is because there're people out there who read and give support just like you did. Thanks bro!
