Writing Prompt: See, Look and Watch

Jeny saw (third form of see) an accident on her way to college, when she returned she saw her father watching Football match on T.V. On the way to her room she looked at a scenery, which her mother bought in the morning. While looking at the scenery she called her little brother and said "Look Frank mom bought a new scenery", her brother replied "I have seen it already its not new for me to stare at". Jeny become upset and went back to her father to watch the match.

  • Great writing. I was a bit confused by scenery, too. In English, "scenery" is typically used to describe part of a picture or painting (or real nature) but not as a noun for the object itself. It's a tricky word now that I think of it! Let's practise writing some example sentences: 

    I loved the drive to Whistler. The scenery was breathtaking.
