Writing prompt ~ each and every

It was first day at my school where I am a teacher. First I went to principal’s room and met with him, he told me ”each and every teacher of our school are very talented and hard-working so you have to be hard-working and you have to follow each and every rules of our school. First three month will be you probationary period, if you able to do each and every task perfectly then we will consider you as permanent teacher.” Then he called one of his clerk and told him to introduce me with each and every teacher. Each and every teacher was very humble and modest, they greeted me warmly.

When I returned to my home each and every family member congrats me for my new job.

Next day I went to took my class, it was my first experience ever. There were 120 students, each and every student welcomed me. I saw each and every student dressed-up same and they were disciplined. Each and every student join their assembly session every day.

I wanted to be a good teacher so I worked hard every day to complete my each and every given task. I made some groups for quiz competition and I wanted to made my every lesson interesting. Each group was consisted by six members. Each group had one leader and one co-leader. I asked 10 questions for each group and there was a rules that every member had to answer at least one question. It was very interesting and every student enjoyed it a lot.

  • Thank you very much #ADMIN

  • Thanks for trying this writing prompt! You have a pretty good understanding of how to use each and every. Be careful with "each and every" (together). This expression should be saved for when you really want to emphasize something, such as in your first sentence: Each and every teacher is talented and hardworking.

Also, you need to think of each and every as one thing: "each and every rule" (not "rules")

Tip: The informal word "congrats" is short for "congratulations" not "congratulate" (verb). You can use it in an informal message to someone: "Congrats on your promotion!"

In your writing, you need to write out the full word (especially as a verb): Each family member congratulated me.

  • #noaslpls , Frankly if i will, i will be a terrible teacher..... :)
