  • Expector Smith,, I'm very grateful to you for the lesson. I really appreciate that. I have already edited my blog. Yes, I forgot about "the" although I read your blog :D. I'm sorry, Sir. :)

Hmm, I have taken the abbr. quiz. Sad, I got false at number ten. Later I realize that bike is for informal spoken.

For your kindness and your generous, I would say again, thank you very much, Expector.. :))

  • @Onee

Good question! Mom is one of the abbreviations you should learn.

Some people tend to use abbreviations that may only be used in a chatroom or when you're texting on a mobile phone - too informal to be acceptable in your writing.

Great job - you've correctly used so many abbreviations in this blog. In fact, it can be so challenging to use abbreviations right.

By the way, you usually use 'the' before such abbreviations as 'UN', 'IMF', 'WTO'.

  • Thanks for sharing dear Onee.
  • Hello friends, I changed a part of the dialogue a little. Thank you for your attention. :)

  • Expector Smith,,

What about Mom? Is it abbr? If yes, formal or informal?

I thought in doubt with DND and IC, I just put IC, do as another blog written, *ops :D
Yes, I did read Mr.Jeffrey's discussion before.

Is it only DND and IC? any more?
But I intentionally put some chat abbr here in dialogue topic, not in dialogue. Just to know.

I need your enlightenment, thank you so much for correcting, Expector.. :))

  • Wow, you've included some informal abbreviations that are not really the abbreviations we want you to learn.
I don't think 'IC' or 'DND' is good English. In fact, Jeffrey has just posted a discussion about formal or informal abbreviations - try to check it out.

  • Hello Nimzaf,, Thank you so much for encouraging me, I'm learning too. But I like to share it to all of you 'cos maybe it's useful. And I found that it's useful for you. I'll try my best, Nimzaf. Through my lacks of capabilities and time. :)
