I am taking part in Tara's monthly challenge for the first time.I was really very confused as it's a difficult task for me.But still I didn't lose hope and dared to participate in the challenge.

Okay lets get the ball rolling.....

Poverty is the lacking of proper food, shelter and other basic necessities of life. Those who are lacking these necessities are considered poor and the lacking they are suffering from is called poverty.Poverty is increasing day by day like a disease. This disease could be fatal for the nation if increased.

Rate of poverty in a society increases when people are unable to earn, lack of money would not let them get education. And when they are illiterate they can not get jobs which lead towards their destruction. If poor people are willing to work, earn and educate themselves, there would be bright chances for their development.

Poverty could be the major concern of a person as being human it is difficult to see a large number of people lacking fundamentals of life.

Poverty can be removed from the country if government take some serious steps to overcome this problem.Or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should be regulated for their development.A fixed amount from a person's income must be donated for the prosperity of poor people.Education in schools must be free of cost till primary, and institutes such as handcraft and different skills should be organized for less qualified and skillful women.Opportunities of job for men should be more on grass root,so that a person with less qualification would be able to work and earn some money.

The world would be an eden for everyone if the rate of poverty reduced.

Looking forward to an encouraging response from friends and EC TEACHERS.

  • Thanks all of you :)

  • Nice blog! poverty is an important problem that prevents equality among people, many talented children from poor families haven't equal chances to get higher education, and consequently haven't chances to get better jobs with good salaries.

  • this worse ever i have seen. kindly change it as soon as possible.please before start write any blog just give focus on the topic and put logical point.on the contrary this is not enough.

  • Good try, Anah!

Unfortunately, there are still so many people living in poverty. Yes, lack of good education, job opportunities, donations or the help from the goverments may account for the problem.

  • Mr. Bob elaborated even more what I wanted to say. Thanks Sir,

  • I agree with your blog except for one part: "If poor people are willing to work, earn and educate themselves, there would be bright chances for their development".

I think that in most cases poor people are willing to work and earn money but have no employment or the jobs pay so badly they will stay poor no matter how long they work.

Most poor people would love to educate themselves but without food, money and a school they can't do this. You live in a country where the citizens are given free education, medical care and money from the government. That is a special case and the poor there can choose to be lazy and still survive. As you know the work is done by foreigners.

If you travel to other countries including your father's homeland, you will see people in a completely different situation. Even in First World countries like the USA there are poor people who work long hours but cannot earn enough to get a good education.

Countries and their policies can be a part of the problem. When the rich and big corporations do not help with tax money the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Your idea of a tax is good and necessary. Thanks for the nice blog.
  • Some nationas are deliberately kept poor, merely helping them to surviving on meals two or three times a day just to prove that how super powers are struggling for their survival.  If these national are honestly helped they would be out of poverty.

    Reference: some African countries.

  • I agree. There are basic necessities that many of us take for granted. Last week I drove through a very wealthy community, and it made me quite sad to see how people are living in luxury so close to others who are on the streets. How big of a house do people need?

  • Poverty is indeed the new disease of modern societies. Government needs to put a lot of effort to eradicate it.
