I am from Iran and I like to write about the nomads of Iran because their homeland is nature, Have you ever thought about living in NATURE. It is very hard but wonderful. Nomads of Iran should live in coordination with nature; because they are mostly shepherds depending on the livestock for their livelihood…..They have winter and summer homes and migrate twice per year. These migrating pastoralists move to the warmer places in early autumn and again move to the cooler pastures when spring comes. …Nomadic life is pretty amazing for the people living in the 21st century…..They live in the tents made from the sheep wool woven by women….they produce their own food from the livestock.
If you go and visit them up close, you’ll be attracted by women and girls milking and wool spinning and men putting out the sheep to the pasture…..the tinkling of the sheep bells, horses nicker and roosters crowing sound beautiful and play the harmonious symphony of LOVE and SACRIFICE.

  • Hi dear Estanis!

I'm very glad my blog is interesting to you. Every year, the nomads pass our town, I took this photo while they were passing.....

BTW, Spain is a very beautiful country, it's a pity you don't write about this beautiful country. I love Spanish traditional clothes and palaces. I like to visit Spain someday.

  • Wow! I'm really learning with this blog :)

Anyway since I joined Ec I've also learned many things of this beautiful country since there're many Iranians friends here. Iran rules Ec haha...
I must admit that my point of view changed considering that I knew very little about your country. I wish I could visit it someday.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and pics. :)
  • Hi dear Tara!

Thanks so much for your nice comment.

Yes, living close to nature is amazing ......but it improves physical mental health. The closer we live to nature, the healthier we're likely to be.

  • Very interesting! We have a lot of "Mennonites" in our city. They aren't nomads, but they do live off the land. Most of them don't use cars. It's not uncommon to see a horse and buggy driving along the side of the road. It's amazing that so many humans still live so close to nature. Thanks for joining us!

  • Hi dear Coral!

There are boarding schools for nomads children.......when somebody is sick they can take him/her to the nearest health center because most of them have vehicles. In addition, they have rural health insurance. ( Technology has effected their traditional life)

  • Hi dear Luzzi!

Sometimes, I envy them too, they are physically strong and energetic, they are good at horse riding, mountain climbing and swimming...they have not to pay for house renting, bill payment for water, gas, electricity.... :D :D, they are self-employed..
Life is very difficult for us without urban facilities, we are dependent on machines, but they used to live their simple life.
Thanks dear for your nice comment.
