Karachi, my birth place:

I was born in Karachi. I saw my childhood here, I educated here in this city from nursery to graduation. I got my first job and then others here.

My birth place, Karachi is the largest city, and the main seaport and financial centre of Pakistan, as well as the capital of the province of Sindh. The city has an estimated population of around 20 million. This is the most populous city in the country, one of the world's largest cities in terms of population and also the 10th largest urban agglomeration in the world. It is Pakistan's premier centre of banking, industry, economic activity and trade and is home to Pakistan's largest corporations, including those involved in textiles, shipping, automotive industry, entertainment, the arts, fashion, advertising, publishing, software development and medical research. The city is a major hub of higher education in South Asia and the wider Muslim world.

I never dreamed to go anywhere in the world, until one day I got green card of USA. I went there, lived there, lots of facilities are there in respect of whatever you imagine. Very neat and clean living, civilized people, who respect each other. On the other hand there is nothing this sort of here in Karachi, especially these days, the problems of law and order, transport, lack of civil necessities, murders, kidnapping for ransom are in abundance. But when I come back to my janam bhomi (birth place), where the bud of my life blossomed, I feel as I have once again come to the lap of my mother.

I visited USA number of time but to come back to Karachi, the soil of which always drags me towards it. This is in the instinct of a child that he is attracted towards his mother, no matter how poor she is.
