LOL! It'll take a lot of my time if I introduce all MyEC friends one by one in this blog, so just let me introduce only five.:)

Aija is one of the very helpful member of MyEC. She has joined MyEC recently, but it seems as if she has been here for a very long time. She helps English learners over Skype and she also has a personal group on MyEC. She is from Latvia. She is a Latvian. The official language of Latvia is Latvian or also sometimes refereed as Lettish. Her profile shows that she speaks Russian and English

Tawfeeq is a longterm MyEC member. He is from Iraq. He is an Iraqi. As I can see from his page, he speaks Arabic and English. His way of writing blogs is very nice and I like it. He writes very nice poems always, and also records his voice.

Who is gonna tell about Iraqi and Arabic, is there any difference?

Deepa is one of the most activate member of MyEC. She is an English teacher. She is from India. She is an Indian. Her profile says that she speaks Tamil and English. Tamil is a language spoken predominantly in South India and North-East Sri Lanka. If you visit her page and read her blogs you will laugh from her humorous way of writing for sure.:)

Anau is one of our latest STAR members. She is from Indonesia. She is an Indonesian. She knows Indonesian, Bandung, Sundanese, ArabicJavanese and English. LOL! Anau, it seems you love learning new languages so much, don't you?

Scarlett is a very active member of MyEC. She joined MyEC few months back, but she has improved her English skills a lot. She comes from Vietnam. She is a Vietnamese. She speaks Vietnamese and English. She has a very lovely voice and can sing very nice. You can listen some of her songs in the group "Karaoke". She loves English language so much since she joined MyEC. It's sure that she is gonna be fluent in English if she continues with the same speed.

  • @Oriani,

My so sweet friend as you know I have a huge number of friends and I could mention only few of them here.:) Thank you!

  • Hi again Nida,
Thank you for the link and your this reply. I know that you yourself were not sure for these corrections, and I was also getting confused, so in such cases we learners must ask a teacher. But, I am satisfied with your response for both my confusion. Thank you so much again. And dear, as I think we are not in a real English class here, so this is great if we find our mistakes ourselves and if we have any confusion we have got many expertise with us.:) Keep it up! I love if anyone correct my mistakes whether she/he is a teacher or a leaner. Have a very nice day!

  • Thanks dear!

  • For sure! I already read your blog! Excellent.

  • Haha Dear Oriani, do you really think so? =)

  • It is Ok, my dear. You are pretty smart. I can tell by your writing =)

  • Dear Oriani, you're right. It should be "yours" and not "you". In fact, I wrote "yours" not "you". It was a typo. I couldn't read my comment after I posted it because we had an electricity blackout. But still thanks for spotting my mistake. So nice of you. I really appreciate that.

  • Dear nida : "I'm just a beginner and my English is not better than yours". Than "yours" because you're talking about "English" (the language) and not about him =)

  • I wasn't included in your friends list =(

  • Hi there Rajesh,

    1. Please check this link: 'It is referred as' or 'It is referred to as'

    2. I used "also" because I presumed that she speaks Lettish. So if I were you, I would either write: "She speaks Lettish, Russian, and English." OR "She speaks Lettish. She also speaks Russian and English./She speaks Lettish. She speaks Russian and English, too.
However, if she doesn't speak Lettish, then there is no need to write also/too.

I'd again say, as I already said, that I'm neither a teacher nor an advanced learner. I'm just a beginner and my English is not better than you. I was just trying to practice my English. I'm still not sure about my corrections. It'll be really great if you ask a teacher.
