My dear Teachers,
Please forgive me if my idea is not good. I just want our club : “to become better”.
I’m a student here, hihihi...a diligent student ..lol.. I’ve joined here nearly 2 years and I have so many best friends who help me a lot. I deleted my account one time because I got some trouble from it. It was my silly action and I’m still sorry for it. So today, after reading our Mod Expector’s blog ... I think...please let’s me : to give a “very small idea” .
As you know, we’re always in busy with our jobs, studies, kids..or kekeke.. our money..lol... So sometimes, when we’re busy or need to go for our business or we’re tired and bored . What do we do? We will take a rest, right? We can go for a trip or sleeping or just.... hide ourselves to anyone. And if that time comes...why we cannot set our page up in private. I mean : why MyEC doesn’t have a button which I can do like that.
I will give you an example (because...sorry, I’m afraid of with my poor English, Teachers cannot understand my meaning hihihi....).
I wrote a new blog, but I set it will be appearance on July 7th. Ya, this button is so great. I can choose a time for my blogs, my photos. So why not...if our club has that button, if I want to go, I don’t need to “delete” my account (because delete our account is so silly –as I think), I just set it up in private. Only me who can see it. And whenever everything is fine, we can open our page again. Is it comfortable, right friends?
Thank you for reading my blog and for your encouragement (you don't laugh at my mistakes...many thanks for it). MyEC is a best place for learning English. No doubt ^_^

My friend, you didn't mention what kind of problems you had which they made you to delete your account. If you do, we might give you advice. But to have a privet page and no one can get into it except you, allow me, I am not with you. What is the point from doing our blogs???Yes, please say it loudly; to share others our friendship, our thoughts, our joys, our photos and even our dreams. If every one at EC does your idea, so, he or she will not have friends at EC because, all the blogs are privet. My friend, how can I or you or any one at EC improve our English without friends??!!!
I agree that deleting the account is a problem when you want to come back again. The privacy setting may be the best answer. I have always just done what I had to do and maybe people wondered where I was until I came back again.
This is supposed to be fun and we are only here to enjoy it. If work becomes too much our true friends will understand.

MyEC does have this button. Go to Settings in your top right corner. Then choose "Privacy". Then you can customize your settings, including blogs etc. Let me know if you need more help.
Your idea is just brilliant, Sis! As an option on FB, that button should be useful for your and other friends situation. I also agree with Ha's opinion. I'll miss you if I can't see any trace of you on EC.
Anyway, it would be nice if there is one more option for us to moderate our own virtual house here. I vote your idea with all my hands and legs...LOL...:D

I have a friend who is from Syria. When she got married , her hubby asked her to deleted her FB and her account here. She agreed. She did it.
2 years, now, she comes back....I asked her why??? she said : her hubby doesn't like a net society, he thinks in there : people cheat together. but now, when he sees that his wife is sad (because she stay at home and take care of their kids), he allows her to join FB again. But no men...just chat and make a friend with woman. It's a true dear.
Like me, last time, when I got sick, my hubby asked me to do the same. I did..And I felt sorry for it.

Yes, You're right. But as I see...some of my friends deleted their account. They went...and some months (or some years) they come back. Maybe when they did it (deletion), they never thought that they will be back. So...they lost all their blogs, their friends, their photo....As my experience ...I feel so sorry. I lost some goods friends. Can you understand me dear Teacher?
