Why English...?

English is our common interest here. There are lots of reasons why people learn foreign languages and everybody has his own...I want you to tell us the reasons of your decision to learn English . Share your motives and aims with us."Why did you choose to learn English"?And those who are native speakers..."Why did you decide to teach English"?I decided to learn English because at school I was good at it and I liked it very much, and moreover our teacher kept telling us how important it was to know English, so I decided to go further and study in at the university, and only then I understood myself how wonderful is to have a good command of a foreign language, be able to understand people from different countries, and what a pleasure is to teach others to speak this beautiful language...Now tell us your reasons...

  • Expressing my thoughts in words is the main difficulty I face. I'm a software professional and need to interact with clients very often.
When framing a (good)email to my clients or to all my friends about a movie review or about a vacation...I keep on checking my sentences again and again to see if they are right and has proper grammar in it. I do all this because when my friends read my email they should not think that I'm bad at english. I want to become an efficient writer, a fluent speaker. Hoping that I get to learn more ENGLISH from this club. I appreciate the moderators for helping the people like us to learn.
