    But let me see what different is between Repent and Regret!

     

    Regret:

    To feel sorry about something that you did or did not to do;

    A feeling of sadness about something sad or wrong or about a mistake that you have made, and a wish that it could have been different and better;

    He regrets selling his car.

    I don’t regret what I said to her.

     

    Now, what is difference between them, really?
