The way we do

Every job is important. In a society which we live every job is like a piece of puzzle. In order for a society to be run well, every job needs to be done well. If you want to do your best you should love the job you are doing.  For instance a chef who loves his/her job could make great foods. Have you ever experienced it when you are in a good mood, the food you prepare would be more delicious. Or a waiter/ waitress who loves their job, you can feel it from the way they serve the food.  It is almost right about every job. You can say whether the person is doing their job out of love or just because they have to. How ever there are some jobs that from my point of view are so important, why? because of their great effects. Let me make it clear by giving some examples. A teacher for instance plays a vital role in students’ lives. Do you remember when you were a kid; you love a subject because of the teacher. I mean you loved the teacher and her/his manner of teaching and most importantly her/ his behavior towards you, So you would get interested in the subject, but if you didn’t like the teacher you almost would hate the subject. Teachers could be a role model for their students, so a teacher should not consider their job only as a job. They must know how important their job is and how they could effect their students future by being a good one. We all at least once have come across some great teachers who adore their job and they are the best ones in their job. Let me give you another example, doctors for instance.

Being a doctor you are going to deal with human beings lives. You must care about your patients’ problems and try to do your best. Have you ever come across some doctors who listen attentively to their patients? You will feel so good when you have your doctor’s attention but the opposite is terrible. So what I want to say that doctoring is not only a job. They must be committed to their oath and try to do their best.

I can give more examples, but my point is that the attitude that some one has towards their job could affect their performance. It would make a huge difference if someone loves their job or not. We could have a better Society if we have more teachers, doctors, engineers, chefs and etc who love their job and do their best.

I got inspired to write this post because of dear Lady Anne's blog, the hardest part of being a teacher.thanks Anne.

There are so many mistakes, I would be glad to be corrcted by you. I would be grateful.

  • I enjoyed reading your blog ,  but Be Careful! Color and Font Choice Could Hurt Eyes :D

  • Sometimes it's hard to love one's job, but if you're committed, you will learn to 'like' it and live with your decision. Not everyone is lucky to be able to do things that they love, but everyone has the ability to commit and make the best out of any situation.

  • really nice blog.. you are absolutely right that performance of job depend on the person's attitude toward job... .

dear Luci, thanks for your common. You are right it's not always to be so lucky to do whatever we like, but maybe by looking at good points of the job we are doing now, we can do it better.
Dear Lady Anne, the teacher you have mentioned, don't you think that such people need to be trained and to get ready to become a teacher? You are right the more you love your job the more you feel responsible and therefore try to do your best.thank you sooo much for your correction I will remember that.
Dear Samuel, you are absolutely right. When we consider every job closely we will find out how important they are.

  • Interested in, adapt  it and get used to it then the feel will come to the heart. So inspired me

  • That's true. Complaint in working would just make your job is getting worse.
  • setareh,
We must love our work in order to succeed, and I want to confirm that all the jobs are important. There is no community is consisting only of teachers and doctors. The worker who cleans the streets is doing a very important job, as well as all the functions. Thank you for the nice blog.

  • For the correction:

***In a society which where we live every job is like a piece of puzzle.

***For instance a chef who loves his/her job could can make great foods.

***Or a waiter/ waitress who loves/love his/ their job, you can feel it from the way he/they serves/serve the food.  (To avoid slashes, you must decide whether to use a singular subject or a plural subject.  It's a bit confusing to use both as your subject)

or a waiter who loves his job, you can feel it from the way he serves the food.

***You can say whether the person is doing their his job out of love or just because they have he has to.

    ________

Most of your errors are in the agreement between the subject and the verb.  Be careful next time, Setareh!

  • You are absolutely correct, Setareh!

When you love your job you become more responsible and committed.  Our attitude in life has a great bearing towards our profession. Only a month ago, a substitute teacher sought my advice because she thought she couldn't continue teaching kids.  She was rushed to the hospital because of hypertension.  She's only 22 years old.  She told me that she couldn't go back to those kids anymore.

I saw her growing up and she really has an ill tempered manner.  Besides, she easily gets angry and a bit selfish.   Such personality is not befitting for a teacher.

Thanks Setareh!  Your blog serves as an inspiration for the professionals, too!  Way to go!

  • Setareh, good point and those who love their jobs are really lucky. However, life isn't so easy and at times we have to compromise, which might cause we dislike our job or some people simply may become sooner or later bored and may find their job stereotype. Luckily I like my job and I think that my performance is certainly better than performance of sb without interest. Thanx for sharing :)
