The dragon fruit

Hello everyone, this is the first time I post my writing. I have never done this before. I am trying to improve my English, so if you find any fault in my writing, please correct it. Thank you in advance.

Yesterday, I watched a funny video on Youtube. The content was about two young cute Russian boys in Navy uniform. They  tried eating dragon fruit for the first time.

When they saw dragon fruit, they were so surprised . They said it was a mysterious fruit, It looked like a dragon egg :D :D

After cut it out , they said It looked like ice cream. It has white color and so many many black seeds inside. It’s taste like kiwi’s. After tried eating it, they really liked it. They said they couldn’t find them in the Russia and one guy thought he would buy this Vietnamese fruit and sold in Russia.

These guys made me to reminded to my friend. When I told him about this fruit, he said Oh Its name is dangerous :D :D :D , and when he saw it he said “I don’t think it is a kind of fruit and I cannot imagine what is it”

Let me tell you some information about this fruit .

Dragon fruit tree is grown in many provinces in Vietnam. But there is only one place produces dragon fruits with the best taste. It is a coastal province.

Dragon fruit tree is also grown in some other countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia.

Vietnamese dragon fruit is exported to some countries such as America, Japan, China and Australia.

Vietnam is the only country be allowed exporting dragon fruit to Australia.

Dragon fruit has pink skin and some green tails on it. It’s taste is little sour, and it’s good for health, so I eat them a lot. It’s very cheap in Vietnam.

With me dragon fruit is a beautiful fruit and you know dragon fruit flower is one of the most beautiful flower blooming at night, and the best beautiful moment is around mid night.

Here is a dragon fruit garden.

  • Good job for your first blog, Ni! Dragon fruit is such a marvelous food because it looks unique yet it's loaded with antioxidants. At first, I thought the fruit came from a gigantic tree but later found out it has an octopus branches similar to cactus. You're right, it's also common here in the Philippines. I'd love to grow one but it requires lots of space...

  • Hi Ni,

Interesting blog! :) I wonder if they tried to bite the peel of the dragon fruit. :D Btw, I think I don't taste the sour of Red Dragon Fruit. I usually ate them like eating watermelon or I cut them into cubes. Here is the my red dragon fruit. ^^

  • Hi Ni,

I live in Indonesia and dragon fruit also exists here as you mentioned. Unfortunately, I don’t like it. I think it is about the taste of ones. My nieces like so much with dragon fruit. They consume it directly (no be juiced) and apparently, they can eat it as much as they want at once time, lol. I believe fruits and vegetables are good for our healthy, especially for our digestion.

Thanks for sharing your thought and story here. Your first blog was interesting and congratulation you did it well.

  • What the details, Diah :D
