The Chronicle Of Ninos - Chapter Three

Chapter 1 : My Name is Ninos

Chapter 2 : Viola! I'm a Male Cat

Chapter 3 : Wake Up And Smell The Roses

Hi there! Did anyone miss me? I hope I won't make you die out of boredom with my adventures. After all, I haven't tell you anything outrages yet. It's hard to have any adventurous adventure since my Moms prefer that I say at home. They told that I'm too young to go out. Well!!!!! Yes, I'm just about six months old according to human, but I'm already about three years old in cat years. That's hardly a baby, you know.

In this blog I want to share with you my favourite past times. I don't know what my Moms told you guys about me, but I don't spend my waking hours just chasing a ball of thread or my tail. I have other things to occupy my time too.

Some of you may already know that my Mom Noas loves gardening. Her love for gardening seemed to rub into me. I love helping her gardening.

But sometimes my Mom was not too grateful with my help. Sometimes she will shoo me away from her. She told me to stop being underfoot all the time. She told me if I always come near her when she tried to cut the grass or trim the plants, one of these days she may accidentally 'trim' my whisker. OHMY! I can't let that happen. A ferocious cat needs his wonderful whisker.

Therefore when she said that, I will go away from her and that sharp scissor of hers and I started to smell her roses. But then she will also shoo me away. Really!!! I can never win in any situation with my Mom.

I wonder, do Moms always act this way? Or is my Mom just being neurotic?

  • Hello again dear Lady Evangelina. Welcome back. EC lost one of its shining stars when you were not in here.

When you were away, I think I've grown a few more centimeters in length. Now I'm no longer a kitten, but rather a teenage cat. This is really a milestone for me since my Moms can't treat me like a kitten anymore. I can even go out from the house by accompanying Mom Ayu on her daily evening walks.

I'm glad that you agreed with me, Lady Evangelina. Now I know my Moms indeed very annoying and controlling. I'm glad it was not because I was a little bit hyper-active. :D :D :D

I think from now on I will remind my Moms that I'm a VIK. :D :D And since my Mom Noas really really really likes you, she can't forbid me from using it because it was you who bestowed me with the aloof tittle. :-P

Well, I do respect the flowers in my Mom's garden. But, like I said, I just wanted to help my Mom. I think my Mom should also respect my effort. But, nowadays, I will help my Mom from a little bit far, just to save my whisker. I don't want my Mom Noas to accidentally trimmed my whisker in the fit of giggles. As for loving either her flowers or me more, hmmm ... of course it's me. After all, I'm indeed an adorable yet ferocious cat.

Hugs and kisses from over here to over there, Lady Evangelina. Till next time. Take care. :)

  • Hello Sweet Lady Alice. Well, I'm a curious not-so-little cat. I think it's in my nature, though sometimes my Moms always say that one day my curiousity will land me in big trouble. Honestly! How can I learn anything if I was not curious, right?

My Mom was just learning to garden. That was why I love to help her. I want to learn together with her. Yes, she loves roses, but she has other flowers too. When I asked her the name of those flowers, she even don't know some of them.

Anyway, my Mom says, green thumb is just a myth. I had to agree with her. As far as I know, her thumbs were never green, maybe black on in a while, but never green. :) Are you sure there are people with green thumbs out there?

My Mom Noas is sending you hugs and kisses. She said, you're one lady lady because no weed is thriving in your lawn. :D :D :D

  • Hi Ninos that is one cute curious look you've got there!  You are lucky your mom can grow roses and all those other nice plants in her garden as I can't even grow a weed on my lawn! I'm terrible with plants, perhaps your mom noas has a "green thumb"! :) Regards to your mom!

  • Hi there, again, Lady Elen. I'm glad that talking to me can enlighten you more about cats. I think I will make it my mission in this EC to enlighten you and other members about the wonderful life of cats. :D :D Or, like I told Lady Onee-chan, my Mom wrote a blog especially dedicated to cats; "Did You Know - It's Also A Cat's World". Sometimes, I'm even amazed with all those wonderful facts about cats. :D :D :D

Lady Elen. even though I just know you, I truly trust you when you said the whole idea about diet was from my Mom. Honestly, sometimes my Mom can come up with all these crazy ideas, and she thought they are so fantastic that sometimes I'm getting scared for her.

About the weight, well, don't worry. I will be forever skinnier than my Mom. :-P :-P

  • Wow, i didn't know this about cats. That they need extra sleep because they growing up. What someone can learn by talking to a cat! :D

You should know that diet was your Mom's idea and not mine. But i won't remind it to her and i am sure that won't think about it again because as you said you are up and down the stairs all the time, so your weight will not change. Don't worry :))

  • Hello, hello, and hello again Lady Elen. Thank you from the bottom of my tail for spending your precious time and talked to my Mom. Sometimes Moms only want to listen from their female friends. It's like the click thing.

Thank you for making my Mom realised that I'm a big cat now. Can I tell you a secret, Lady Elen? I always sleep nowadays not because I'm a lazy cat, you know. It's because I'm growing up. When a cat sleep, it triggers a growth hormone. Since I want to be a big ferocious cat, thus I need to sleep more. It's very logical.

I don't think I will have a problem with my weight though. Because I love to jump and go up and down the staircases in the house. But, please please please don't put the idea of diet into my Mom's mind. Then she will put less food for me. :( :(

  • Hello Ninos! I came again to tell you that i talked to your mom and i think she have started to realize that you are not a baby cat anymore and especialy since you don't jump at her while she holds scissors. You understand that maybe you can hurt, right? That makes you a mature cat and good for you. She also told me that you sleep more these days. Ok, sleep, but be careful with your weight please, otherwise you will be a big, mature fat cat. If you don't care about your weight then your mom will have to put you in diet. And she will be right and not neurotic this time. See ya!

  • Hello again Lady Onee-chan. I'm glad to see you in here again. First and foremost, thank you for the corrections. I do appreciate it. If you're not so far from me, I will definitely drop you some cat kisses to your face. :D :D :D

As to cat years, my Mom Noas wrote about it in her blog, "Did You Know - It's Also A Cat's World".

No! No! My Mom didn't manage to trim even a millimeter of my trim. Thank God!!!!!

Well, she is a bit neurotic. LOL. But, please please pretty please don't tell my Mom to put me in a cage. A ferocious cat needs a big space to grow up. :D :D :D

  • Hello again, Ninos. Do you have cat years?? Tell me about the detail. :D

I hope your Mom didn't completely trim your whisker. :D

Ninos, don't call her a NEUROTIC MOM! she just doesn't want to hurt you. Please tell your Mom Noas that she should always put you in a cage like in the picture when she's gardening. :D

    My little correction:

    I haven't told you anything...
They said I was too young to go out. (indirect speech)

  • Hi Lady Setareh, thank you for your sweet words. You're such a sweet lady. :) :) Well, I don't know about balance and such if a cat loses his/her whiskers. But for me, can you imagine a ferocious cat like me when I roar but without whisker? I don't think any other cats will listen to me. That's why I need to take care my whisker really carefully.

Since you're such a sweet lady, I will try to remember your advice and not to try to be too closed to my Mom's scissors. :D :D
