Poem; My true agony

Title: My true agony

I broke my pen
my favorite thing
I couldn't describe
my true agony

behind my words
there are silent screams
no one can feel
my sorrow

my tears never lie
but I'm hiding them
under the night shadow

I couldn't stop thinking
of whom I love..
my best fellow

who left me alone
In this narrow world
and gone far away

I broke my pen
my favorite thing
I wish I could describe
my true agony.

Oh..I'm afraid I have taken this poem literally...You are referring to your old friend right?
So..this is not only a simple poem..I think this is a brilliant poem!..You have your own style of writing poem by presenting it through figure of speech..I don't know exactly what it is called..I think you gave justice to your poem by using personification to your subject pen...Very creative and very sensitive...

Wow...simple but amazing! Agony for somethings we used to attached with is really can happen in life..Like in your case, for some it is only a pen but for you it has a sentimental value because it came from your friend..And maybe this pen had written so many things about you, about your hopes as well as your blues, so that's why it was painful for you when you got it broken..So for me, it's understandable...So I guess to stop this agony, just request another pen from your friend if you can!
