Poem Challenge: My Conscience

My Conscience

It’s hard to talk with you
You have a severe homilophobia

That day, the accident happened
Stressed, froze, and got drowned
Your notation was not aesthetic at all
That natatorium had made you feel bad afterall

Something in you, I never knew
What’s wrong? What’s going on?

I remember our tryst
at the secret rendezvous
I titivated myself just to see you
But you never came

With the smell of petrichor
I went home lackadaisically while the TV on
Who cares about Anastasia Nikolaevna
She’s not a cryptozoologist for sure
I sipped my hot tea
as the extremophiles were gone
I felt hypnagogic
and couldn’t remember anything

Something in you, I finally knew
Someone scholastically said you’re lunatic
The fact you’re just kathisopobian

I'm meeting you now, I want to see you
You promised me I would be your bride, but
Why am I sitting here as your paranymph in your wedding?

This is ME
My feeling...
My conscience...

This is just to complete my poem challenge as the provided words still 19 unused. Now there’re 3 words left: Flexibility, Freeloader and Distillation. :D It’s really nonsense to make a poem using those words. Wanna try?? :)))))) :D

I also wanted to say that FREE VERSE POEM has been THE IN THING since 1800s. This has been acknowledged as a part of literature and you can read for detail on my blog.

Onee's Poem Challenge: My Ode to Distillation
Well, I am laughing while typing these lines! To join such words like DISTILLATION, FLEXIBILITY and FREELOADER in one verse is not an easy task. But…
  • Onee, dear! I accept your challenge to use those three words in a poem! Haha! Let's see what I am able to write. I have an idea but am not sure I will be able to rhyme all lines

  • Lol... you're what I call a 'multitasking' girl. You can do a bit of everything hahaha...
    Good one!
  • My dear ELF,,

  • Sir Dara.... Oh my God..........No..... :D :D Try to say that in English. ha..ha...

Don't force yourself, Sir. But you master English, so it's up to you. :) Thank you for your nice words and like. ^^

My Indonesian correction: Saya suka JANJI untuk bertemu. Itu DI masa lalu.

  • Saya suka jangi untuk bertemu. Itu de masa lalu. Sekarang, saya mau tetapi saya mempunya empat anak. Faktanya, saya ingin lagi. I will try to make my poem soon, despite the fact that you know I do not know about poems very much.  The lines indicate the delicate sensation of Onee_Chan.
